I think before you cast aspersion you should first of all look at your antecedents in terms of religious balancing of affairs. This is very important, APC created rooms for religious intolerance in the country and should be blamed if someone seek to campaign based on what they have created as a loophole.

The truth is that many of them have the capacity, veracity, competent and are very frugal but that huge financial inducement required has made them to stay back. The worse part of it is that these old politician cannot see any of them to sponsor at all!

It all depends on what they are searching for, some are searching for his name in order to find out something wrong about him. Forgiveness of sin is only obtainable in Christ. There is no forgiveness outside Christ. The purpose of Christ going to the cross as orchestrated by God is to bring forgiveness to man. Whatever man has to receive from God has been rooted and established in the death of Christ. The death of Christ becomes a necessity for man because if Christ didn’t die man becomes a hopeless being. It’s apt to say that any man without Christ is living a hopeless life irrespective of his possession in life.
The means of receiving forgiveness of sin is through believing in the finished work of Christ. The finished work of Christ is encapsulated in His death burial and resurrection. So anyone that has believed that Christ died and was buried and on the third day He resurrected is saved from sin. It means his or her sins have been forgiven.
The promise of forgiveness of man’s sin wasn’t a thing of the New Testament but was established in the beginning. The beginning here is Genesis. The people in the beginning had to believe in Christ on a promissory note. God spoke to them about Christ in symbols and divers manners. Let’s see how the book of Hebrews puts it.

Utilization of Covid 19 lockdown is very necessary in the life of every believer. The negative side of Covid 19 lockdown on the average believer is weighty. Spiritual life of a believer is what makes him a believer. A believer whose spiritual life is not being enhanced will gradually fade out in his Christian life. The most important target of the enemy in this perilous time is the spiritual of life of believers. The enemy is using Covid 19 lockdown to deter the spiritual growth of believers. It is no longer news that within this period of time many believers are not going to church services and most Church programs have been cancelled.

This is detrimental to their spiritual growth. If this Covid 19 lockdown dawdles, the outcome on the side of believers might not be titivating and encouraging. Therefore, there is the need for proper utilization of Covid 19 lockdown by believers. The utilization of Covid 19 lockdown will involve believers to continuously stirring up the gifts of God in them. See 2 Timothy 1:6, 2 Peter 3:1. Religion: The proportion of Brits who identify as Christian has reached its lowest point in over three decades of polling. As more than half of respondents said they no longer affiliate with a religion, a new study suggests.

The National Centre for Social Research, which claims to be Britain’s largest independent social research agency, released its 36th annual British Social Attitudes report this week based on a survey of 3,879 people.
The report confirmed the continued trend seen in the U.K. And the United States of people not affiliating with any religion as 52% of respondents to the survey said they do not belong to any religion.
“Of these, most were simply not brought up with a religion. With a smaller minority having lost a childhood faith,” the report states. “Those who do not regard themselves as belonging to a religion are increasingly secular. That is, likely to say they are ‘very’ or ‘extremely’ unreligious.”

The study finds that only 38% of the respondents identify as Christian. This is a far cry from the 66% of respondents in the organization’s 1998 survey. Those, who identified as Christian and a 2-percentage-point drop from 2017.

Comedy invasion is the latest negative thread that has invaded the church world in the recent times. The church has added another ministry to the existing ones given by the owner of the church. Comedy invasion is a system by which comedy has been infused in the scheme of things in the church.

Comedy invasion involves a comedian being invited to the pulpit and he or she starts to address the church in a rib-tickling way. His or her utterances may involve making jest of spiritual things including men of God. In some cases, the comedian may not be a member of the church that invited him or her. He’s free to use the pulpit anyhow within the set time given to him without interruption.

A comedian is someone who ekes a living out of making jokes. This implies that he makes money by making jokes. Therefore, for churches to invite comedians it means they have to pay them money. The Reason Behind Comedy Invasion:

The target is that people will come out massively and attain the service of that day and along the line the comedian will entertain them. The end result of this is that money box will be filled to the brim. This explains why the comedian should get a piece of the pie as honorarium. This con called comedy invasion should be exterminated from the church because it wasn’t and never should be among the ministries in the church. The church of Jesus Christ is not an entertainment arena but a place where serious spiritual activities take place. Spiritual matters are not laughable matters.

People do not go to church to laugh but to learn and any preacher who does not know what to teach the people should quit. Notice that people are bored and unhappy because they are not learning anything in the church. Someone who learns doctrine from a church needs no comedian to stimulate him to come to service. Christians are not supposed to be motivated to come to church if actually they are getting what is needed.

Christ Should Be Preached:

It is time to call these business owners to order, let them understand that they should not be concerned about the numerical growth of the church but about the spiritual growth of the church. It is not about how much people that gathered in the church but how well the people who are gathered are taught that matters. If gathering of people determines church growth, it means Jesus was a failure because He never had plenty people who are really His church members. In the early days of the Apostles what they were concerned about is how the believers could be fed spiritually not how they could be entertained.

Recently, it was reported that a known Nigerian musician stopped going to church because the few churches that he attended he was made the center of attraction. This is shameful and should be discouraged! The church has missed it when she stopped preaching Christ to believers. When Christ is preached, believers are made to receive the revelation of who they are in Christ. If Christ is preached in the church, the comedy invasion ministry will not be needed in order to stimulate believers.

Godless election is an election conducted and carried out without God. It is very possible to have a Godless election. In fact Godless election is what is obtainable in all the elections conducted around the world. On a clear practical note, Godless election should be the elective measurement to grade a better election. However, what we have on the contrary is a system where people pretend to involve God in the election process. The reality is that every ‘sound’ election should/must be a Godless election. And practically, one is very capable of winning comfortably in an election without God.
A politician does not need God to win in an election! I know you are rowing your eyes now; come on this is the truth, just accept it and have peace. The doubt in your heart is because you are coming from a background that has taught you that God is involved in elections. Now let’s face it, election is a process by which people elect their political leaders in a democratic setting or system. There are many countries in the world that are practicing democracy as the governmental system in their land. These countries are not Christian countries and they do not know God.

Godless Election Is A General System:

The politicians in these countries conduct their campaigns and mobilize their people to cast their votes for them. In the process, the politicians put in their resources and wherewithal to convince the electorates to vote for them. At the end of the process, winners and losers emerge. And both winners and losers didn’t consult God because they never know God. Therefore, God is not involved in anything they did to win or lose in the election. This is applicable to countries that are presumed to know God. This is because, what is obtainable in these countries that claim that they know God is Godless election too.
I want to state categorically that if one wants to win in an election especially in this part of the world he must make that election Godless election. This is important because any politician trying to involve God in his electoral process will not win. This is because electoral process anywhere in the world and the system of God doesn’t tally. There are factual and important things one needs in order to win in an election and definitely one doesn’t need God to make them available.

The Things Can Help A Politician Win Election:

Number one thing you must make available is money. In a Godless election the major pivot is money. You must have money to be in the electioneering and definitely you don’t need God to make money. You can make your money anyhow and anywhere and use it to run your electioneering and at the end you win or lose in the election. Many who made their money anyhow and anywhere can volunteer to contribute their money in your campaign based on the kind of deal and agreement you have with them. This is so because politics is a game of interest and benefit therefore is pure business. In business the ultimate goal of investing money is to have returns at the end. The implication of this is that with much money the chances of the politician to win is very bright. An election process like this is Godless election.

Number two thing you should have in your political domain is thugs. These are the people who believe in you wholeheartedly and are ready to take bullets and even die for you. This is very important because in electioneering in this part of the world and even elsewhere in the world anything is possible. Thugs are ready to snatch ballot boxes, confront electoral officers on your behalf and make sure that your come out victoriously. They don’t mind losing their life in the process. And a process of an election in this nature is Godless election.

Redeem Church (Redeem Christian Church of God) Nigeria is one of the high powering and elitists churches in Nigeria today. Sitting at the helm of affairs of Redeem Church is Pastor Enoch Adeboye a shrewd mathematician. Pastor Adeboye resigned from his university teaching job to pick up the leadership mantle of Redeem Church. The church was established many decades ago and it is still moving stronger as the day goes by. The church has spread across Nigeria and beyond the shores of Nigeria. Since the inception of the church, lots of transformations have taken place within its peripheral existence.

There has been some paradigm shift in some doctrinal issues especially, in the mode of their dressing. One of the unique steps the church administration has taken is to allow church leaders to participate in other jobs different from ministerial duties. Atiku vindication is a thing that should be verified on the scale of justice and accepted wholeheartedly. And Atiku vindication from corruption indictment should not be a thing of street judgment but a rendering from the court of law. Also Atiku vindication should not be based on assumptions and criticisms from different quarters. No one has the legal right to vindicate Atiku except the court of law. And in the same vein only the court of law can condemn him. Therefore, Atiku vindication is a legal issue and should be followed legally as stipulated in the constitution of Nigeria.

One of the dangerous ills in the Nigerian society is street judgment. Nigerians troop out in the street and set up their investigative officers and judges and sentences an individual based on rumor. Their court room is either the Newspaper vendor spot or the liquor spot. All one hears among this category of people is “I hear say and na so I hear”.

One hears some unverified and inimical accusation from someone who has not seen the supposed accused for once. And suddenly based on this, judgment is issued, the accused is condemned. And instantly, this kangaroo judgment emanating from in a liquor spot becomes the chatter in town. It begins to spread like wild fire, and from the mouth of people on the streets you hear Atiku is a thief. And where did the judgment emanate from? One local liquor spot in an obscure street in one little densely populated city in Nigeria.

Worse still, this kind of news doesn’t stop on the street. The people on the social media pick it up and begin to unleash this false and fake news online. There is an adage that says when a lie is repeated several times it becomes a truth. And in a short while, people begin to accept this lie that emanated from one local liquor spot.

This lie becomes a normal thing in the street and when someone tries to counteract it, he or she appears like a fool. Therefore, Atiku vindication seems to be a thing that is in the hand of the masses and not the court. Majority of the people on social media believe that Atiku vindication is on their social media trial. However, the fact is that no matter how long a lie assumes to be true, it can never be. A lie is a lie! As it stands now, any corruption allegation against Atiku is a lie since it has not been proven by any competent court.

And of course presently, we have an integrity based government that is seriously fighting corruption. If Atiku is corrupt and he has stolen any money or property he should be ducked in the law court. A proper legal investigation of his case should be carried out and consequently the court should render its judgment. This is what the government of President Buhari should do as fast as possible because justice delayed is justice denied. This is important now the man Atiku is vying for the highest elective position in Nigeria. .

Biblical injunction here simply means the validation or evaluation of this Buhari’s administration through the lens of the bible. There is this certainty that through biblical injunction a clear cut description that is platonic about this Buhari’s administration can be given. The good thing about this is that a description based on biblical injunction is void of hypocrisy. Though many may not be comfortable that biblical injunction is being used in assessing the performance of this Buhari’s administration. However, it is important to note that using biblical injunction will definitely enhance the knowledge of people about this administration. This will be more beneficial to the educated elites and Buhari’s Christian followers. And for sure we do know that Christians do better when knowledge has come and many of them lives in ignorance if knowledge is taken away from them.
This biblical injunction therefore will do one thing that is very important to this government and its admirers. And that is, it will further ingratiate Buhari in the hearts of people or dismiss him from their hearts. It is obvious that where there is a group of people or a nation the need for leadership cannot be over accentuated. Therefore the value of leadership is the highest pedestal because the results and benefits of it mean much to the people. If it is positive the people are happy and when it speaks otherwise there is sorrow in the life of people. The book of Proverbs puts it this way:

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

Proverbs 29:2

The implication of this is that the state of any nation or group of people is the reflection of the quality of leadership they have. So how great a nation appears is the interpretation of the minds of its leaders. And of course how lowly rated a nation appears is the level of the thinking faculty of the mind of its leaders. Therefore, it is important to authoritative say that a nation cannot grow bigger than the mindset of its leaders. This is because it is what the leaders have they empty inside the nation.

That is whatever they have tickles down to the citizens. For instance, if the leader is wicked, wickedness flows from the top to the citizens. And if he is kindhearted, such flows from him down to the citizens. On the other hand if he is wise, wisdom flows from him to the citizens and if his mind is empty, emptiness in found in the hearts of his people.

On this note, it is not wrong to say that the character of the citizens of any nation could be the reflection of the mind of their leaders. Just like a Nigerian adage says that ‘’one can’t break the neck without the head”. However, it is important to say that no great leader becomes great from what he sourced outside his nation. Whatever that will make a leader great is located inside his nation, the duty he has is to harness them. This means his greatness depends on how much insight he has about his subjects and natural deposits in his nation.
Any leader who thinks that his subjects are worthless will never become great. And any leader who does not value the resources in his hand will not be great. Note this, if a leader is not great his people will not be great because the prestige of his people is in consonance with the proportion of his greatness. Please see nations like China, Germany, USA, Japan, North and South Korea, Britain, France and even Iran. Now let’s take this biblical injunction to assess this administration. The biblical injunction here is one of the parables of Jesus Christ.

what I see here is Pentecostal and charismatic manipulation. The Holy Spirit will only direct and correct us through sound teaching that is scripturally rooted not through our emotions and feelings.

I believe one thing and that is we are what we eat. The words we are confessing each day goes to our spirit and begin to form us inside out and it will not be long enough for us to begin to see the effects on our life. Why is it that people hate to hear the truth? The op is very right and there is nothing extreme in the op presentation here.

Let me start by saying that many people and many preachers included have read the Bible without understanding and that is the reason behind the misinterpretation of the Bible. Firstly the sovereignty of God has been misconstrued and as a result misunderstood by many who have read and preaches the Bible. Let me say this candidly that God is not in charge of what goes on in this planet earth period and if you think so you are veiled with religiosity and religiosity is not Bible. The Bible never said that God is in charge of the activities of men, but He is in charge of His own activities. Now let’s see Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” God after creating man, gave man the power to dominate whatever that is in this earth, God never said He will dominate! Note this point. This suggests that the activities that are carried out on this earth are under the auspices of man and not God. It may interest you that after the creation of the earth God has no input in the earth anymore, whatever that comes into existence both eternal (sin and death) and external (physical creations) are manmade.
However, God didn’t create a robot, He created man and gave him the right to make choice (Genesis 2:16-17), this establishes man’s will. So there is the will of man and there is the will of God and it might interest you know that God does not invade man’s will. The only thing God can do is to make suggestion but cannot usurp their will, that was what He did in the case of Adam, He suggested to him but he went ahead to do his own thing and God never stopped him. Which means is not God that made Adam eat the fruit, Adam was just exercising his will and God cannot stop him because He has given him the right to make choice. Also see Deuteronomy 30:19.
I have many things to say but just trying to make them be in a nutshell. Now let’s evaluate what happened at the church. The guys that went for that operation God must have suggested to them to opt out of the operation by speaking to their spirit. Yet they have their way because they have the power to make choice either to go or not to go for the operation. To the worshipers, and even the priest before this time, through vision, dreams, prophecy and instincts God must have spoken to them about this very operation that happened, and yet it is in their hand to choose what to do. Go to that town today and interview some folks they will tell you that, somehow, they had dreams, visions, even that very day when they woke up they felt this way or that way. The thing is that if your spirit is not in consonant with the voice and ways God communicates the tendency to overlooked things is there especially to the ones saying that there is no God.
But one is sure and that is we shall all give account of what we have used the will He gave us to do. The question is, are you using the will you have to work out His purpose or your purpose?
