awesomeJ: I still think it's same to ask permission, public forum or not 😁
For withdrawals, traders like myself often have a significant portion of our portfolio as cash, so when we make withdrawal requests, they're not from shares sold on the given day, but rather from our existing cash balance, so that's the use case for making it instant. Yes, funds which have stayed T+3 should be made easy for instant withdrawal. |

Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by NSEstudent: 7:41pm On Aug 23, 2025 |
jonnysessy: The number they are requesting for is your investor's account number. You can access this number when you log in with your username and password. Then your full name also be written in the description for payment. You will have your account credited pronto. Shareholder's account number is unique for each Registrar and should not be what the brokers like Morgan Capital are asking for. I stand to be corrected. |

awesomeJ: @locotrader @stockHunter @NSEstudent do you permit that I send screenshots of this page 9511 in an email to MCSE and Atlas??
They actually use the same software vendor (Caladata) so if these user feedback motivates then to automate their deposits/withdrawal flows, it should be easier for that vendor to implement and ship? This being a public forum means you can share to them. I am not sure you'd be breaking any law that I am aware of by doing so. I don't think the brokers or the developer of that iTrade platform can do much about withdrawal period for sales that happen same day. I suppose the NGX, CSCS and other relevant stakeholders have to play a part in vetting and reconciling sales before final clients can have them in their accounts. Even those who use direct cash settlement don't receive the funds same day they sell. As for depositing and withdrawing funds that have stayed T+3 days in clients' accounts, I believe they can do better. |

Morgan Capital has recently been sending messages about their funding. Apparently it could be because of me or someone else/others who sent money and had to email them aggressively to have it credited.
In my case I used the username assigned to my account with the hope that such a unique field would help them speedup the crediting. However, I had to wait for hours before I started sending emails and calls. Their so called WhatsApp number didn't respond, hasn't responded as I type, even after the issue has been fixed.
In the circulating email, which they titled PAYMENT RECOGNITION OPTIMIZATION, they are requesting for account number and registered name. Hopefully this works as expected/desired.

The blame should be shared between them. You're making excuses for the Developers. The client may not be remotely tech savvy. If the team is complete, perhaps the PM would have checked it before they deploy. |

Lofty1000: Understand this game joor, you will really do!!! See the price of gtco, zenith, nb, ngx, dangcem, pz, and watch out for uacn today and tomorrow........... You will really get it, as if the market is running away....,you will come back to tell us here. Keep Locolizing!!! Keep finding support!!! We are all here, you'll come back to tell us your story.
I think what we can do here if we want to keep making money is to gather together and agree together on a sound stock together and be sure that we have enough fund to pull a stock together Everyone here together, no more fighting and then we should agree on entry price and exit price of a beautiful stock with solid fundamentals together, no more junks we are not a junk community. We go in and carry every one along together targeting 100% a MONTH or 50% every 2 weeks each time. And then come out together on an agreed price with calculated volume and exit together
With sincere transparency. We can do this in bull and bear market together, that way every body will be happy together and we can build a strong community of wealth together. So you think japaul will not get to 5 and cwg 24, mecure 25, Honeywell 35, ngx 120, nb 150, international breweries 20 by this month if we support each other We have the fund together but we are not supporting each other together and we have forgetting that we are in thesame community together, so what's the advantage of the community we are in together
Word for taught and action immediately Let's the leaders of the group go now and find us beautiful stocks with solid fundamentals in the market like cwg, tip, uacn, nb and we can start accumulating before Friday, that way we will shot by monday never looking back and come down by the month end with 50% together.
Are we ready ?? MH Pro Max It's already glaring why this won't work. When you want to exit, who will buy from you, from all of you as you suggested? |

chimex38: That's not armateur. That's kind of the defacto wordings in the tech space on any webpage without a content yet. It is filled with those words (its Latin I think) Those are auto-generated. You can imbed them in a simple HTML template when you have no content to add there, by typing just a few codes and indicating the number of words. It's amateurish to do that in a production environment. |

hallysonia: From experience, which brokerage platform is better between Afriinvest and Morgan?
Last week friday, all my orders at afriinvest were not executed. Is it cool to have more than one platform? Sorry for my naive question.
Also, using app or web to trade? Which one is better? When you say 'from experience', it could mean someone who has used both. While I haven't used Afriinvest, I am sure the platform alone is not why your orders were not executed. It could be that your bid/offer price did not meet the opposite ones in the market for a deal to happen. You can have two brokers (or more if you want) to separate your trading account from your investing account, if that is your goal. If not, one brokerage account could be enough. Most people access the internet via mobile devices these days. But, unfortunately, we don't have reliable apps with good UI/UX active in NGX (none that I am aware of). If the developers of iTrade, the platform Morgan Capital and a few others use, can develop a mobile version of that app, we will have something nice for mobile-only investors. Perhaps the absence of reliable mobile apps by top brokers, is why third party brokers like Bamboo continue to have a good customer base who come here from time to time to lay complaints. Investment-One has about 2 apps that do the basics, but they still have lots of improvements to make. However, I would rather use them than use a third party broker if my goal is to only invest in NGX. The best experience so far lies on the web platforms, especially that of Morgan Capital. The preceding remarks represent my personal perspective and should not be considered authoritative. |

Locotrader: It's good as he asks. I remember one time I transfered money from my business account that bears my company name into my brokers account and want them to credit it to my personal account. Nna eeh! Na war oooo. Na so I come begin beg for my money. Finally it was credited after 3 days of words exchange.
I didn't ask question before doing that. Apparently your business account is as good as a "third party" account; your business is a different entity from you. His questions are welcome. I am just stating that I answered from experience, as he demanded and not a guesswork. |
