Trying to "pass the buck & responsibility" as usual! Yet the boast was "fresh air" & "transformation"!

Anyway, we've heard - so please tell him - "since he can't handle the government, he should leave for those whose hands are where their mouths are"

Seems GEJ's greatest enemies are these goats who think they are supporting him! The sheer gall of this!

PoliticsRe: PDP Government And President Should Not Kid Themselves by nuclearboy(m): 9:13pm On May 16, 2012
Yes, all the moronic half-baked, greedy, slovenly, Esaus who have always sold their birthrights for a bowl of porridge are here licking GEJ's arse and leaving him deluded and thinking he has any shred of respectability, credibility or goodwill left!

Sadly, paid thugs (especially those with low IQ) do NOT give credibility!
PoliticsRe: PDP Government And President Should Not Kid Themselves by nuclearboy(m): 5:33pm On May 16, 2012
And now that none less than GEJ's own Chairman has said "Boko Haram is fighting for justice", what next?

Pdp chairman
Pdp NSA
Sylva who promised to mobilise boko haram to kill the president!
Senator Ndume (pdp)
Ndume also named Vice president Sambo

Yet because a man said "what you are doing will cause trouble", you take him as the problem?

Truly, people living in filth do not want anyone to shine light exposing their dirt
PoliticsRe: PDP Government And President Should Not Kid Themselves by nuclearboy(m): 3:59pm On May 16, 2012
Beaf: Buhari is a blood-thirsty beast. You know it and I know it.
Lets cut out the crap and the bullshiit of winsh threads like this. The OP (a hater) is only dissapointed that Buhari has been found out.

Being in opposition does not make one a saboteur or subversive, neither should it compell all of ones positions to be based on hatred as is a badge of the OP (who is also well known for starting numerous threads on "Ijaw this or that" and Bayelsa).

The greatest thing about what has happened to Buhari is that he was not prompted. He was not pressured, rather his words simply gave the World a profoundly defining view of his inner immorality, blood-lust and wickedness. Who says there is no God?

As we say in Wafi, "God don kash am!" cool
I think the public reaction shows its your flatulent govt that "God don Kash"

Its blatantly obvious that he spoke a proverb which is our culture and which the dogs & hyenas of which number your sad self is, have tried to turn into a mountain! Everyone who's head isn't up gej's arse has stated that what he said is "truth" - a word PDP is unfamilair with! So there!

Btw, how come you are silent about non payment of your (politically) "loved" NYSC members and populace and the insult madam gej gave Warri but can complain about truth!

GMB should have considered the animals that would jump on his words and twist into a pretzel - that's the only problem with his choice of words
PoliticsRe: PDP Government And President Should Not Kid Themselves by nuclearboy(m): 12:56pm On May 16, 2012
I am a die-hard Buharist and probably support him more than he supports himself! I also know that he works quietly and has tried to influence ALL around him to not be associated with boko haram!

But he should have been more careful with statements because he knows that while true, hyenas like PDP will use it against him if only to inflame passions against him! Anything happening in 2015 will as it were, now be blamed on him even though he will be innocent of such!
NYSCRe: 'Nigeria Is Cash-strapped,Cant Pay Monthly State Allocations& NYSC Allowance' by nuclearboy(m): 1:38pm On May 15, 2012
Chinua Achebe's words come to mind -"the center cannot hold"! All the noise about this being an innocent government that inherited "trouble" will soon go out the window when the profligacy of this administration runs Nigeria aground!

We will then be forced to ask where the reserves, ECA etc all disappeared to! Plus in May, the annual budget for "subsidy" is gone? Wow, how fresh this air is

Those who feel the country will break & thus are advocating for the spoilers will find themselves regretful of the support they offer despoilers now!

They will gloss over the information, pick a few words to fight with and insist the post is only about those few & twisted words

Olaolufred: It is sad that Homo Sapiens keeps enlarging the coast of Injustice, but keep asking for peace.
No man can be glad with Robbers disposesing him of his hard earned possesion.
This Drama has brought it to the fore that Jonathan is as dirty as OBJ(children of the PDP clan).
However, why should we keep asking what Boko Haram wants from Nigeria?
I thing It is simple,
(1) Since our constitution discriminates between the rich and the poor,
(2) Since our constitution bows before the Government and its officials while ruthless with the citizen;
(3) If Jonathan could do this Abracadabra to see Buhari robbed of a chance to a fair hearing,
Why should we blame Boko for their unrest?
It is human to desire a change. A change to a new constitution they feel better than the trash we have now.
If Boko Haram could become a well supported guerillas that takes North as an independent country fine. Though it must not become an imposition on the other regions of this jungle-called Nigeria.
Buhari was robbed. If not, Jonathan doesnt need all these film tricks.
Now Jonathan has added robbery into some of his cap of ills.
He has no moral reason to be called President. At least by me.
Sad country.
Dispassionate & sensible - a summary drawn from honest inference! I wish more of us thought like this!

grin But the fire brigade are on the way now to shout down sense and reason!

Nothing is missing from your Bible! All that has happened is that they uphold the traditions of men above the Word of God!

And the idea of a poll surprised me! What do you expect from "the multitudes"? Was it not them who requested Christ's death when He didn't show as the military Messiah they wanted?

As then, so now - they want "cash" & since His Word doesn't provide (the way they want), they put their own words in it!

This Sango issue above is not funny because it brings up a question -

If the new covenant Image123 claims wiped away the curses (and weight and issues etc) of the law his forefathers followed, why then doesn't that SAME new covenant wipe away the law of Moses which could be considered a type of "curse", being unfulfill-able by man?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Fourth Republic Is A Mess. How Come? by nuclearboy(m): 7:06pm On May 08, 2012
Why are we asking how come rather than pro-offering solutions?

I think IBB had one great idea - the 2 party system which would have given us a true alternative to the ruling party rather than the "madness" we see being played out!one alternative would stop the ruling party from "buying" lesser alternatives who would of course have spilt the vote thus weakening any perceived "stronger" alternative!

But the jokers in the 2 houses of the NASS currently have their heads so far stuck up their backsides that rather than building a stronger polity, they continue in the same old pattern of manouvering (each man to himself) into stronger positions in search of relevance rather than governance!

Ultimately, the citizenry will have to find a way to take and\wrest control if the military doesn't!
PoliticsRe: Igbo Must Produce A President In 2015 – Ezeife by nuclearboy(m): 3:09pm On May 08, 2012
Ezeife's name has been sent to the SSS as one of those GEJ wants to make a federal minister!

I guarantee that once he gets into the FEC, he will keep quiet about Igbo becoming president and he will even work against such!

Strange that Nigerians still see tribe while the truth is that your "rulers" and "politrickcians" only care about sharing money and how to get into the sharing forums! Ezeife's noise is getting him there (to shut him up) and presently, you all will know how much he loves those of you who fool yourself that you are his people - money has no tribe!

And as usual, those that oppose tithes bring scripture, divide rightly, answer directly and are straight forward!

And those who support show fear, obfuscate issues by using allusions and "moral" arguments.

What is funny is nobody is saying ministries should not be supported. What we keep harping on is that a ministry supported by lies is not showing God!

Well, truth remains - "The love of money is the root of all evil"

@Russkelly:

Very nice post!

On the issue of Christians being "spiritual Israel", we should remember that we "compare spiritual to spiritual". If eartthly Christians make up Spiritual Israel, what then would the redeemed in Paradise (after judgement) mean? I think these would be Spiritual Israel "redeemed" from "Egypt" (earth where there was a god of this world)!

In support of your position concerning Malachi, readers should read Malachi from chapter 1 verse 6 thru our MoG's favorite 3:9. It is obvious God was talking to the Priests and when He says "The whole Nation of you", He refers to the entirety of Priests not Israel! As an example of this, there is a movement called the "Nation of Islam" founded by Malcolm X. Could our tithe preachers tell us if that title referred to all Americans OR all Muslims worldwide?

These things are obvious

All so simple really! The House of Reps has the power to force him if they want! So if they were not just playing to the gallery, this is the time to exercise their powers.

Its like the executive sees the other two arms of government as a joke! If they accept that "position" (of being a joke), then this democracy has definitely failed.

I have till now believed the ties of PDP brotherhood have restrained the Reps even when disgusted but with majority coming from the north which is hardest hit by current circumstances, those ties are breaking faster than the Executive arm realises.

When SNG moves and the populace rises, legislators will be compelled to choose a side!

@debosky:

You have stated this position before and as then, I still remain in agreement with you.

What I meant by pro-tither was different and refers to the position currently held by Image123 (though I wager you wouldn't be caught disemboweling scripture as he has proved able to do with straight-face and injured talk) where tithe is supported at all costs, to the inclusion of bare-faced lying and carving of scripture!

None of us is perfect, none and like the rest of us, Image123 has his right to being but a man! However, this manner of deliberate twisting of scripture is better suited to Muslims trying to convince themselves of problems in the Bible and NOT Image123 who I am sure has a following here
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Is PDP & PDP Is Boko Haram- Gen Azazi by nuclearboy(m): 3:18pm On May 02, 2012
Luckily, another voice from the "past" has spoken!

Heanry Okah has deposed that the March 2010 & October 1, 2010 bombs were master-minded by our dear "Fresh Air" president to give his detractors a bad name!

All that south Africa needs to do is find out if indeed Oronto Douglas and the other GEJ men, did indeed visit Okah just before the Oct 1 bombing! If true, this would mean either

1. These GEJ men did know of the bomb in advance yet didn't warn Nigeria at which point, we ask why!

2. Okah is right that they asked him to lay blame on IBB, suggesting they truly owned the bomb!

3. They were fast friends with Okah and just left matters of state to say hi! But then, "show me your friend & I will tell who you are" applies and indicts them as terrorists too

So Henry Okah says its GEJ and Azazi says its PDP. Plus Sambo has been named a sponsor + Ndume is also being tried. And Sylva boasted that he would mobilise boko haram and bring them to kill GEJ for threatening his ambitions! Which means Sylva knows them and can control them! Or who here reading this, can "mobilise" boko haram also?

Only a dunce will continue to insist its outside of this circle of PDP!

The best you can say is that the messenger has now gone "mad" & is doing more than he was sent to do! But the puppeteers behind are obvious

debosky: @ Image

all you've argued is that tithes can be money, but this has been shown from scripture to apply when you are substituting either livestock or agricultural produce and not to anything else.

Furthermore, your comment on shekels is actually inaccurate - going back to Leviticus 27, various amounts of shekels were assigned as a medium of exchange for livestock, houses, and a variety of other vows. That clearly shows that shekels served as the primary form of money, NOT cattle or livestock at the time the tithe commandments were given.

God gave an explicit commandment concerning tithes (even in the presence of money) and we should not attempt to change that with dubious unrelated arguments about how much things have changed today.

Every individual is free to give as he determines, BUT when such teaching is being recommended to others, it must be taught in a transparent and non-deceitful manner.

What many describe as 'tithing' today is an odd mixture of the free will nature of Abraham's tithe (but not the one-off nature), combined with the regular tithes mandated under the law (but no reference to the tithes eaten with less well off folk), backed up with threats of a curse (related to the law but unconnected with Abraham or Jacob's tithe) for those who don't tithe and the promise of a 'special blessing' for those who do, justified by dubious mischaracterization of the Levitical tithes as equivalent with ANY form of income/money when it clearly refers to crops and livestock which can be substituted by money.

Such selective application of scripture shows a fundamental problem - the view that people must be coerced into giving, and would not give if they were not told the simple truth.
Jem1's post following this brilliance by Debosky also carries so many marks for its suitability! But as a summary, this is "perfection"

Many kudos, Debosky! Interesting that this comes from a former Pro-Tither
