Dude: I condemned and still condemn the pogroms and unlike most of the youngsters here, was around during the civil war though as a child! But a few things have always made this issue a 2-way blame game for me

1. How come all Biafra soldiers look well fed while d children starved? What manner of man eats leaving his child to starve?

2. Why did the war only start 10 months after the northern riots? Why only then and not spontaneously or even anytime before Gowon decided to split the country into 10 states? Why was that the "key" that started the war? Didn't Col Ojukwu know his people were being killed until Gowon decided to lessen his powers? And if any of the Igbos reading this was NOT Igbo, would he not wonder at the timing coincidence?

3. When food was offered and effectively rejected because your general insisted on being paid by such as the Red-Cross, which was more important to him? Cash to buy weapons to kill more people OR the lives of the youbg children his decisions sent to an early painful undeserved death?

4. Igbos are mostly Christians - what did Jesus say about counting costs before starting to build a house?

I feel very sad about the death of millions who were mostly innocents but this debate is asinine in trying to pin ALL the blame on your perceived enemies! Truth is your planning was shoddy, the motives suspect and selfish, the propaganda hurtful to your own people and the timing totally wrong!

Tinubu ruled Lagos in a dispensation where his C-in-C maliciously withheld funds from him! Not only did he start Lagos on a journey of prosperity, but he also chose a successor I doubt any Nigerian can claim could have been bettered!

Both men are human and therefore, must have faults! But they have proved vision, fiscal management and definitely would do better than "share the money"!

If SSS were actually involved in that 'sting operation' what stopped them from arresting Farouk there and then? What stopped them from retrieving the marked dollars and putting hand-cuffs on farouk since they had everything on tape? Does farouk also got immunity like our thiefing governors and the presidents?

Where is the video and the call logs?

Now even Farouk is daring the SSS and police to produce the said video, why? Isn't it obvious that there was never a video in the first place?

My suspicion is:
Otedollar gave farouk a bribe and later suspects (or found out) he was set-up. He then used his connection in high places and the evil players decided to write this scripts for him to be fed to us poor masses.

No doubt farouk is a crook and he collected the bribe BUT until the above is answered, otedola is not innocent.

I am a woman and not a politician but i do follow those dramas as the unfold.

Let us also ask

1. Why hasn't this case gotten to court? Video, confession, damnation etc seem to exist ONLY in the social media!

2. Otedola is suing everyone left, right and center! This will ensure that at our Judiciary's snail pace, the fuel subsidy report will be sat on whist obfuscation of facts holds the reigns!

3. Why is SSS not releasing the "video"?and who controls SSS?

None says Farouk is clean with what we know of the issue, but if indeed this was as it was presented, the man should have been docked!

It is this obfuscation and preference to hound and try him on social media that makes us wonder what truly is happening!
