PROUD-IGBO:
Once i noticed the disrespectful 'tone' of his critique of the Prsidents media chat, and the personal and emotive nature of his barbs, it was then i knew there was more to this 'charlie' than meets the eye wink.

His write up was nothing short of a paid hatchet job, but the sad thing was how certain Nigerians on this website were cheering the little fuc/ker on.

One can say they aren't pleased with the Presidents' style of leadership, or not pleased with his softly-softly approach towards the issues of corruption and the bokos, but you cross the line when you support the scathing and rude remarks of a foreigner on the office and person of the President, all in the name of local politics and '2015'.
Interesting! So when PDP plans for 2015 or says its "do or die", its alright! But if anyone else does so (still a theory since Babangida has resigned from politics), it is wrong?

Fine, he was rude! But rudeness and dismissive remarks are not even a drop in the ocean in comparison to the lives that have been lost in this country! Yet our President says he KNOWS them! He says they are in his government! But does nothing further aside saying such!

I keep wondering why we can't face truth for once but have to turn to emotions even in the face of glaring truth! Whoever among us that has empathy for humans should please consider that one man's ambitions ought not supercede the lives of millions
PoliticsRe: Otedola/Lawan $620K Bribery Scandal Probe Hits Dead End by nuclearboy(m): 6:24am On Jun 28, 2012
Not a lawyer but I thought an accusation, and video "evidence" should be enough to allow this issue be taken to court!

Seems the issue has been used for the purpose it was set up for (to discredit the subsidy probe report) and thus is headed for the rocks!

I wonder when Nigerians will learn that they need to stop seeing ethnicity and religion and start fighting the right battles

Estres - a condition found inn young Bull elephants who, unable to find expression of their sexuality, turn to aggression, pulling down trees, harassing neighbors and generally being a nuisance.

You do need a partner for the horizontal
Christianity EtcRe: “ Love Your Neighbour” And Martian’s Antithesis by nuclearboy(m): 3:48am On Jun 25, 2012
The love of something "higher" than self actually makes sense.

We leave behind the belief that we are all that matters, because we have subjugated our baser instincts to "something higher" - Women's Lib was not love for an individual but an ideal. Same with the end of slavery in the USA. People saw more than the guy in the mirror in these cases and I wonder if they would be called names for such decisions.

Absolute love for "God" in the same way subjugates our individual greed, selfishness etc because it is not completed except the "love your neighbor as yourself" comes into play! In effect, because your love God, you will then love His creation just as you "love" yourself because you see yourself in them!

My summary is that our friend from Mars is confused and doesn't even love himself. The responses above show simple respect for more moderate views is obviously lacking - yet in the same breath, there is allusion to respect and tolerance. But where is that respect for DeepSight? or for the one you label "Fool"? Or even for yourself?

If El'Rufai is responsible, why doesn't the C-in-C order his arrest?

At least, we know the President is the one who swore to protect us all and to fulfill that promise, he has been entrusted with the entire security apparatus Nigeria has!

Interesting that the SSS can plan a sting for someone who's investigating corruption and who is himself corrupt, but quietens when murderers of Nigerians go on rampage!
PoliticsRe: Constituents Move To Recall Farouk Lawan by nuclearboy(m): 12:51pm On Jun 18, 2012
No point answering the PDP hacks here! I know if truth hits most of you with a sledge hammer, u wouldn't recognize it!

But what's happened here will still show up one day soon when files currently hidden will be exposed and then we'll see if truly, all thieves are thieves
PoliticsRe: Constituents Move To Recall Farouk Lawan by nuclearboy(m): 7:45am On Jun 18, 2012
I am FOR the recall of everyone who has stolen money! And unlike you, there is nothing tribal, religious, fiscal or personal in my outlook! I simply detest one (any) man taking what's not his due, be it as NASS member, governor, senator, president or paid hack! The blood of millions and the cries of the deprived rise on account of all such!

I asked a question to which a simple yes or no will suffice as answer IF you don't have "extra" up your sleeve

If recalling a thieving 'Hon. Member' of the house of reps is GEJ's project, how is that bad?
And what if GEJ is found culpable in any "theft"? Will your voice still suppot his impeachment or "recall"?

Cos what's good for the goose....
PoliticsRe: The Chicken Is Gradually Coming Home To Roost-latest In Farouk's/otedola Saga by nuclearboy(m): 5:39pm On Jun 17, 2012
philips70: Sentiments rule all of our daily lives in Nigeria. You hardly see anyone who is totally devoid of this in our midst. Every one has an interest to protect as the whole corruption, Boko Haram and militancy issues play out in Nigeria. In everything ,the future lies on the chopping block.
True - and those sentiments put us where we are today and are edging us towards the edge of the cliff!

Most will be caught broadside if this plays out as we are allowing it to!

And then, it won't be funny or sentimental!
PoliticsRe: Why Is Everybody Afraid Of Buhari's Presidency by nuclearboy(m): 5:34pm On Jun 17, 2012
As I said, I like what you do but the repetitiveness is what I think he alluded to!

Those for truth are too few so I think we shouldn't be divided against ourselves but listen and try to allow for the opinions of others!
PoliticsRe: The Chicken Is Gradually Coming Home To Roost-latest In Farouk's/otedola Saga by nuclearboy(m): 5:27pm On Jun 17, 2012
Finally, something sensible is showing! We may never know ALL the truth but it was ridiculous to believe one side without allowing the other speak! Both sides were setting traps for the other but theere always is a beginning and the issue of motive - who gains more?

This case should go to open court and then we will know the truth rather than this railroading because the "powers that be" are on one side!

jerseyboy: where did you get off being sympathetic with these rogues. it is not about this bribe or the other. it is about bringing down the whole culture of how this house runs the democracy down.
Sympathy?? I beg you, bro, to re-read! He is a thief - confirmed! However, the noise is too much! Why over-heat the polity if there's nothing else?

The man wants a court process even when we all believe he is guilty! Why not then take him to court if there is nothing funny hidden? What are they afraid of that makes them insist on keeping this issue in the public arena rather than a normal court set up for such purposes of examining evidence?

Till the right thing is done, we cannot judge based on hearsay
PoliticsRe: Why Is Everybody Afraid Of Buhari's Presidency by nuclearboy(m): 12:57pm On Jun 17, 2012
GenBuhari:

Jensinmi truly is a supporter of General Buhari! If you wish to be sure, check out his past posts! I believe you know I am also, and so I say the following

I think what he said to you is worthy of your consideration - PDP has used everything as a sword against GMB and now you even give them ammunition because soon, Beaf & Co will say Buhari is living on past Glories! At least you have seen them say it was his deputy that did all in those days! I love your spirited defense of a truly great Nigerian but some of these articles have been replicated over and over to the point of ridicule!

I think that's all he tried to tell you! - just slow it down or the value of these information will truly be lost! Let's tell what he does and THEN, IF needed, we can refer to archives
PoliticsRe: The Bribe Femi Otedola Gave Me Has Been Stolen - Hon. Farouk Lawal by nuclearboy(m): 6:45am On Jun 17, 2012
Obviously a lie meant to further villify the man and ridicule the house of representatives!

Truly the man seems corrupt and like every PDP member, should be in jail but those doing this are definitely hiding a lot of things- this campaign of calumny has gone stratospheric.

Is there someway the cash can be used against Otedola's claims or why not just take short man Farouk to court where everything will then belong to the public domain and his claims of having his own story can then NOT be killed aforehand?

So glad to see that there are reasoning people still on this forum!

This whole charade (that's what this is) stinks - its like people are just screaming dementedly just to heat up the polity without any real purpose being achieved! Eventually, the old foxes will come in, broker peace and let each gladiator return home in peace! Farouk tempered down and subsidy probe dead!

But PDP will suffer this win at all costs tactics and none more so than GEJ himself because one day, he will be on the operating table and some of the "doctors" will come with axes, machetes, and suchlike!
PoliticsRe: Farouk Lawan: Femi Otedola's $500K Bribe Was To Expose Him by nuclearboy(m): 1:16pm On Jun 12, 2012
bayooooooo: There is no hear say. You don't need any "fideo" agian. Farouk has contradicted himself within 24hrs!
He made a confessional statement in the house which is equally on tape. He is in deep shit
My point remains - who has a "transcript" of what was said or are we just "interpreting"? They are all PDP and thus remain the bastion of this Nations problems so I am not bothered who goes down! But is it again hearsay? Or who has seen the "fideo" as you jokingly put it?

Media in Nigeria has taught me to be careful
PoliticsRe: Farouk Lawan: Femi Otedola's $500K Bribe Was To Expose Him by nuclearboy(m): 1:04pm On Jun 12, 2012
Sorry but please, who has seen the video that indicts Farouk Lawan? Or are we basing our judgments on "hearsay"?

Has the SSS come out to say, "yes, Otedola came to us"?

Conversely, has the IGP come out to say "yes, Farouk Lawan came to me"?

When Buhari said "no body will agree cos it will be a fight to d finish", people changed it to "I will kill everybody in Nigeria"! So who heard Farouk give all these like 4 or 5 statements? Or as usual, are we basing our decisions on "dem say"?

Seems to me some people have been paid to make a lot of noise over this matter just to confute the entire issue - PDP magic! Cos as all stands now, its just baseless unsubstantiated posturing!

Anyway, I refuse to judge either side because all that we have heard are RUMORS! He said I said that he said I said etc!

Only one question comes to mind - Otedola that is NOT involved in fuel importation CANNOT enter trouble over subsidy issues! So what did Lawan have over him? And I have read all the "stories" - none explains how someone can blackmail another for killing someone who is still alive!
PoliticsRe: Lawan Changes Story,'i Took Otedola’s N96m Bribe To Expose Him by nuclearboy(m): 9:28am On Jun 12, 2012
This is "fresh air" as understood by PDP! I remember the promises, vows and supposed "plans" to transform the country!

Today, we see what they meant was to detrot the country, loot it into extinction and spew out whatever remains!

My only problem remains the idiots, tribalists and scum who will again consider ethnicity, religion and personal interest when the next elections come!

Aside that, I don't know why we are bothered since its always been obvious that PDP and GEJ (as it is today) has nothing good in store for Nigeria.

Billyonaire: We dont pray for a bigger version of this betrayal of the trust we had on Farouk Lawan, the little man fall my hands big time. I never anticipated that he was this wicked. Nigerians should rally around to make sure the enemies of this country are jailed. How can Farouk sell integrity for $3m. Its a fat shame!
I PRAY that all of them (starting from Jonathan down to local government chairmen) who have stolen Nigeria's Commonwealth be disgraced as much or MORe than this man if indeed it is discovered he did take a bribe!

None of them will prosper
They will bury their children themselves
Their generations will be forgotten
PoliticsRe: Farouk Lawan (subsidy Probe Committee Chairman) In $600,000 Bribery Scandal by nuclearboy(m): 8:27am On Jun 10, 2012
The house of representatives needed this lesson! I am certain the Senate too is watching!grin

This at the end will be the undoing of corruption in Nigeria because if truly (as many people on this thread seem to believe), it is the executive setting up the NASS, it will turn the NASS from a rubber-stamp body into a fighting tool with teeth!

Its a battle won by the executive but if a setup, they forget its a war and this is not the last battle in the war!

I await conclusion of the investigation and sincerely hope that Lawan is thrown under the bus if truly he was guilty! But I keep saying "today belongs to the executive! Who knows who will own tomorrow?" for this will definitely split PDP with everyone NOW aware that GEJ does not follow any rules but his own (and current friends) survival! They will have their own day and let's not forget - "the bigger they come, the harder they fall" - Lawan is small fry! GEJ's day is coming and I assure - there will be no mercy!
PoliticsRe: Farouk Lawan (subsidy Probe Committee Chairman) In $600,000 Bribery Scandal by nuclearboy(m): 7:51pm On Jun 09, 2012
Whether he wanted to entrap Otedola or not, Lawan should NEVER have gone to any oil marketer with what was at stake!

Entrapment is police work! When did he get his detective badges?

And WHY did he wait so long before opening up?

Even if the executive was after him, this remains his fault and nobody elses!

Thieves chasing thieves
PoliticsRe: Farouk Lawan (subsidy Probe Committee Chairman) In $600,000 Bribery Scandal by nuclearboy(m): 1:45pm On Jun 09, 2012
Even if it is true that its the executive arm fighting back, Farouk Lawan made a senseless mistake here! The agreement the committee members had was NO meetings or fraternities with oil marketers so why did he meet with Otedola? And when did he become a detective that he collected such cash as "evidence"? Since he had become so "in the public eye", why didn't he go to Tambuwal and inform him if indeed he wanted to prove "attempts to bribe" anf finally, why did he initially deny when questioned?

This has definitely discredited the fuel subsidy report and given the executive an excuse to throw it away! It likely has destroyed Lawan himself!

But PDP, this government and Otedola will suffer from the backlash of this too! I expect Otedola to hide under the imagery that he was only proving that the committee indicted them only because they had earlier refused to play ball! But he will find the NASS is not easily cowed and will also fight to defend their own either now or in other issues will avenge against him!

Its all criminals outwitting criminals!
HealthRe: How Long Can You Go Without Food (practical Experience) by nuclearboy(m): 12:35pm On Jun 09, 2012
Sad that you stopped so early! At 2 weeks, yes, you would be sweating and would likely feel a "smell" coming from inside you and from your sweat! That the accumulation of all the rubbish inside you being disposed of by your system especially through your skin!

That happens because after the first few days, your stomach (responsible for almost all the work your system normally does) would have slowed down and your kidneys, liver, skin etc would have jumped into action, cleansing your system of anything that ought not be in it!

One easy way to confirm this is in asking yourself why you still kept visiting the toilet so long after not eating anything! That's proper excretion (when your organs cleanse your system)!

You will definitely feel sharper, clearer eyed, clean and if male will wake up with stronger erections and feel more randy!

But the price is that if taken on for too long, your system starts to feed on yourself because it still needs energy so you can damage your bones especially - calcium loss, blood loss etc! But that couldn't have happened in just 13 days!

All in all, a great way to renew youth, strength and cleanse the body of most disease creating substances

Will it again be "he's a southerner", "he's a Christian", "Hausas are bad people" etc or will people wake up and vote strong focused incorruptible people who will not tell us lies into government?
