It is a common complaint with prolonged use. You have to change the component that regulates the number of seeds. This comes as a spare part (at least the company I bought mine from on Alibaba sent me this).

I borrowed this planter from a friend this evening to plant maize on my farm and it was dropping more than one seed. Sometimes 4 and 5 seeds per hole. What could be the problem @LSKD @Masabannyc @stager ?

I'm actually considering to buy it to plant pioneer seed. If I see cheddar na to buy mint gan.

All this planter are not durable,they mostly spoiled quickly within a year. They are all china.
It's more advicesible to buy new one to avoid stories. I bought it before to plant pioneer maize seed.when it's another planting season it has spoiled

What's the fertilizer regime like? How does it cope during dry season? Is N200 not to small for a head?

Let me share a picture for you to know how I apply mine using drip... Then applying it without drip

It's even more better to spray those Magnesium Sulphate... Potassium Nitrate and Calcium Nitrate.

Spray Calcium Nitrate and Potassium Nitrate from Day 7 till final harvest... 5 Tablespoon per 16l knapsack... Start magnesium Sulphate from week 3.

Then for side placing... Continue with your Npk.... Urea... Mop.

Ssp comes in when applying your manure... Spray it ontop the manure... Then Cover it and leave for 4 days before planting... Water before planting and after planting.

Those calcium Nitrate... Magnesium Sulphate... Potassium Nitrate actually helps in more yields... Limited fruit abortion.... Bigger and attractive fruits.

Amino acids should be sprayed during the dry season and it should be a weekly spray.....

As for the prices.... I can't state it because it goes up and comes down... Best thing na to buy in bulk during dry season because we have few farmers planting cucumbers den so the price will be very low and there will be lesser demand.

Then I spray Amino acid to reduce the heat stress on my plants so I won't see any abortion on my flowers.

This is post hole digger. As a cucumber Farmer, if you can afford it buy one, especially if you are cultivating acres or hectares. It will be helpful during raining reason if you want to dig Baboo hole. Check my IG on how to use it.

Have being at home since my last harvest (Thursday) flood has divided the road, those that in farm can't come town, likewise we that in town can go to farm.
