Ah ah! Is it not too early for this Yes it's abundantly clear you don't like fighting for what is yours and quickly succumb to the powers that be...but allow the man seek redress in a civilized and legal way. If he enters the street now to protest, you'll come here and call it a revolution and tag the DSS on twitter to arrest him. He's now doing it peacefully and legally and here you are mocking and complaining. I ask you one question " If you feel your mandate was stolen during an election, what do you do?" shadelek: I don't understand why these aspirants keep listening to bad advice. You've lost, accept your fate. If them like, make them carry the hearings go Abuja, you've just niyeh. By the way, I saw Atiku's picture some days ago, the guy is reducing in weight. He's yet to recover from the shock he experienced during the last general election. |

The south does not know what it's enjoying right now! I can't imagine how life is for the people up north. If this government has any sense of responsibility, BH should be their utmost priority alongside Power. There is wanton waste of life in the north! For what? So who will now bury those that came to bury the dead? |

Your Guardian Angel is definetly on duty! Go and thank God. okadbest: I saw a post by one PEACE OLAOLUWAPO in facebook about importation and it was soooo sweet. I contacted her on messenger. She gave me a whatsapp number 08132230947. I chatted her and she had been sending me fantastic offers on importation, getting loans without collateral and okrika biz. After about 2 months i decided i was ready to talk. I called and a man introduced himself as ABIODUN GABRIEL answered that Peace was his secretary. Well we chatted and i agreed to pay for the importation class. I had a misfortune and could not meet up. After 3 months i was ready and got across to him. Though he did not remember me - which i may not blame him, but when i asked for account details he said he will give me when i was ready. I was surprised why account details needed to be given when *someone was ready*. I quickly checked his website (which expired 27.06.19 and he is using wordpress now) and saw there was no account number. Well I got back to him amd he gave me account number below 0033300301 GTBANK PIUS RAPHAEL I decided to check NL for any thread on Legaldeals.biz and I stumbled on this thread. Thanks. Yes I understand. I'll be getting some suckers from you in the nearest future by His Grace. Welldone. Lesgupnigeria: 2.5m by 2.5m is the optimal spacing You can order for any quantity. They are disease free Tissue cultured is a way of sucker multiplication and producing disease free suckers with uniform growth. You can also use macro propagation method to also produce disease free suckers although macro propagation is less sophisticated and less expensive compare to tissue cultured. I hope you understand sir? |

What's the optimal spacing for plantain? What do you mean by tissue-cultured? What is your minimum order? Do you give assurance on the suckers you sell that they are disease free? Cheers. Lesgupnigeria: yes,it will grow if it has bud in it. Do you want to split your suckers? |

Thanks for the response. I was asking because am considering purchasing a dual chamber seed planter that applies fertiliser as it plants. I was hoping it's ok to do so. From your response, I gather the only worry is " the fertiliser should be dissolved by rain or irrigation before the seed germinates?" Pistotita: It's the best if you can do it as long as it's diluted with the soil so it does not burn the young seedlings as they emerge, but it's time consuming. Therefore, fertilization depends on your planter design. Or if it's just for seed only, have someone run fertlizer side placement beside the rows. It is better placed beside seeds than not apply at all. Or if you can, draw a line at a distance from the seeds along rows, place fertilizer and cover. Can be hard if doing large expanse, but can be used if still 1 ha with fast boys.
From my experience, grains production is team work. |

Agriculture › Re: Maize Farmers Only by numen(m): 5:32pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
Quick question bro. Is it OK to apply fertiliser in the same hole with a maize seed? Pistotita: Yes, the toxin is Aflatoxin. The fungi responsible are two: 1. Aspergillus parasiticus and 2. Aspergillus flavus. There is another called Aspergillus Niger which is responsible for Ochratoxins, and not Aflatoxin. Aspergillopsis Nigra is another name for Aspergillus Niger which I believe is the you mentioned. These ones affect cheese, wine, etc. But really, these things are broad that they keep linking with themselves. Perhaps A. Nigra/ A. Niger is also responsible for Aflatoxin, not so sure. But these things are too broad with new results frequently.
Thank you for pointing my attention to it. |

Rugan Fulani. Using Jigawa State as a Case Study.
By OMA | 30-06-2019 | Food |
Farmers and Herdsmen can co-exist in peace.
Rugan Fulani.
Coming to the "Ruga" issue. There are so many Ruga Fulani in Jigawa State already and it is a model that works, at least with commitment and understanding from both farmers and herdsmen we can have a violent free Nigeria where Herdsmen and Farmers live together in Peace.
Jigawa State is a good case study of what Herdsmen and Farmers harmonious relationships should look like.
Lets give peace a chance as there is no price too high to pay for peace even if it means establishing Ruga
If Ruga would bring lasting peace between Herdsmen and Farmers then let it be and lets stop dragging and politicising what shouldnt be politicised.
Life is so sacred and so sacrosanct and nobody should lose their life as a result of clashes between herdsmen and Farmers.
Lets value life. Lets give peace a chance.
OMA writing for www.omascope.com Mr OP...have they not started RUGA in the 14 willing states? Why are you crying more than the bereaved? So cows can behave up north but once it crosses the river, Niger, it starts to misbehave abi? If their cows were behaving down south as they're behaving up north, the problem would solely have been tackling the terrorist among them. Look at the map attached...everything from the green states up is the North. Checkout their landmass and see how it dwarfs the south in comparison. Now can you by chance understand how selfish and insensitive it is for the GMB's federal government to be pushing for RUGA to be established in the south? Is it right to use taxpayers money to upgrade MACBAN's business processes? If you don't, then you and this administration are self-centered and up to no-good.

Oga enjoy your judgement. It's obviously blood for you. I truly want you to live. Bye MrBrownJay1: The above in bold is the case of millions of people, the law was changed for a reason.... If they accept her plea, then everyone can then cry a river to get special treatment.
You indeed want the law to treat her differently, it you expect anything else than what the law stipulates in her situation... As if all the people born in the UK since 1983 from foreign parents ain't human beings too.
Btw if she has a Nigerian passport the she has declared herself NIGERIAN, thus no big deal and she should just get a permanent residency (easier to get)... Case coed |

MrBrownJay1: The law is as clear as the blue sky... You may want to believe otherwise and expect the law to be different for that person (because she is Nigerian) but I don't use sentiment on such matter.
I (on the other hand) hope she finds happiness, wherever she ends up. You're still judging. I am not sentimental to her case neither do I want the law to treat her differently. I would rather they give her some concession considering all things. She might be a Nigerian but she is first a Human Being who has committed no crime and has lived peacefully with her country of birth. |

MrBrownJay1: as sad as it may be, just because you were born and lived all your life somewhere (undocumented) does not automatically means your are now a national of that country. any foreigner can get a National Insurance number, birth certificate, driving licence, a bank account, go to college, and still not be British.
the law changed 6 months before she was born, she and her family bloody well knew it...
BTW how does she expect to go perform in the US if she has no passport?! It's easy to sit down on nairaland and dispense judgement. Btw...I hope she gets her British citizenship. |

Pistotita: This brings me to Land clearing option. Is there any option for land clearing without top soil removal? New farmers do not still know that these bulldozer drivers are good at clearing construction sites only. They are excellent when working with Dangote....lol... cos they know how to bring clay soil from the bottom to the top very well. I am yet to meet excellent ways of clearing land. They always beat their chests that they are agricultural trained land clearing experts, but give them the job, you will cry. You just need to wait for minimum of 1 year to use the land (that is if you know how to easily correct it, and you have the financial resources), otherwise, you are still waiting after 5 years. lol. You can imagine spending huge on clearing, and one has to spend more on amending the soil. Or must I learn tractor driving, bulldozer operation, fork lifting operation, etc because I want to go on large scale? This paragraph is a major concern for me. How do I clear 6.5h without damaging the soil structure. I initially wanted to employ a bulldozer but @bolded is a very very viable point. I am inclining towards using both manual and mechanized labour. A big chunk of my land is close to a plain with very few trees(small-medium) dotted across it. I'm thinking of using manual labour on such areas and using a bulldozer to strictly uproot the trees before getting a tractor to plough the land. |
Agriculture › Re: Maize Farmers Only by numen(m): 12:55pm On Jun 24, 2019 |
Pistotita: The cost is the reason I pushed the question across to maize farmers so we look at it together. My take is that if one gets it right, hmmmm! I am thinking of different ideas. Well, since commercial farming with tractors only will take me to farm again, I am looking at irrigation for big farms. I think the better option is creating artificial pools or reservoirs at different sections so that one needs minimum hose length. Of course, one needs to know exactly the cost of running it. I have been working on this for some time now. I was discussing @bolded with my buddy a couple of weeks ago on how to supply water to my proposed 6.5ha corn field cos we have a big stream and lake bordering us. I believe it's a good idea. |
