@bolded...You car has four coils? Congrats sha. lwise: Wao,I'm relieved, all the change engine, change Tyre, change battery gang,I finally got the solution.
I got a mechanics contact who finally solve the problem :
1. He changed the fuel pump 2. Cleaned the air filter and the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV). 3. 2 plugs were bad,he changed them too 4. We discovered that the coils have cracks on its body,he advise I buy new one instead of tokunbo.I bought 4 and replace the old ones.
The car drives smoothly now even with the AC.
I can't imagine driving in this hot weather without AC.Thanks to the nairalander that gave the mechanics number.

My neighbour has a wife and kids with his junior female-cousin staying with them to help out in house chores. The cousin was a nice girl until the day she met a guy while she was pursuing university admission and she grew unimaginable wings. Started disobeying the man and wife until the man sent him packing. She later came back begging(most likely after the guy confusing her has used and dumped her) but it was too late cos she has been replaced by another nice and hardworking cousin. My advice: Send her back to her parents now unless you want to deal with a pregnant house maid. She might even be carrying contagious disease and be spreading it around your home like santa claus. Send her home now to her parents! Yes it will be stressful for you guys to fill in for the things she does at home but the stress of the problem brewing is worse. lacapine: I have a 17 years old maid who would be 18 in June. She came when she was 12 and she is like family now. She is in SS1. My problem is her issues with boys. Always keeping boyfriends of which I discourage her big time. Had to ask her why she keeps them, she said because her classmates/ friends have boyfriends.
I have screamed and threatened but she will still keep. What am I doing wrong? Should I allow her just keep them? I teach her sex education though but she says she isn't sexually active. Today, I saw the picture she and the guy posted on facebook holding each other. I lost it today. I flogged and punished her. I'm I being too hard? How do I help her? We wanted to help her till university days but with these, we are scared and reconsidering sending her back after ss3.
How best do I handle this situation. |

If you support corruption...amend your ways don't generalize! The media-trial was wrong so was the way in which he was removed. That same period a newspaper (i think punch{not-sure}) made request for asset declaration form of Tinubu, Amaechi, Osinbajo etc to CCB through FOI, letters were received without reply or provision of the forms. Yet one entity somewhere got access to the sitting CJN's asset declaration form without going through the right channels, a supposedly confidential document??! Yes, it's a political witch-hunt. https://www.nairaland.com/4997758/assets-ccb-refuses-access-kyariThere's no sentiment in this saga. APC led by GMB went about this the wrong way for reasons they believe was best known to them but obvious to many. Lastly to describe the way Nigerians and the international community viewed and reacted to this charade as Tantrum is highly insensitive and inconsiderate of you. Call a Spade a Spade! midolian:

Some of you (supporters of corruption) behave like a dog. If you chase it, it will pant,..if you don't, it will still pant. What exactly do you want?
I remember when y'all were shouting witch-hunt and throwing tantrums to defend this signature of the PDP. It was like Buhari has done something terrible no one has ever done and will ever do..now that the Fulani man is vindicated, I expected y'all to bury ya heads in shame, but here you are still throwing tantrums |

Volvo has always been concerned with safety and am not surprised by this move. Let's see how it turns out and if the AI that'll manage the observation and decision making will be adequately tuned or over-sensitive.
PS: Automated driving for a while now has been talked about...but if this AI becomes mainstream in car-production, then Volvo has effectively laid the foundation for Automatically Driving cars to become an offered product by major car manufacturers in the very near future. |

I stay in Enugu. These are good points. Xander85: Exactly!
Hear of award of projects in Enugu, and click on the thread only to read its patching of road here and fixing of school roof there! I recognise financing is an issue for states in the south-east (owing to many factors which i don't wanna go into at the moment), but this is where a visionary and proactive governor is needed to think outside the box.
It's clear that with the industrious, peaceful and hardworking individuals that make up the population in these 5 states, that it wouldn't be that hard to attract investments from countries like China, Japan or even the world-bank....but the governor of the state concerned has to sell his states potentials to these investment bodies. The state gov't can offer a PPP or BOT arrangement whereby the investing body will finance the project and part own it or run it for a set period of time in which it's expected to make favourable returns on its investment.
Also, none of the south-east governors has really been interested in tapping into the vast resources of its diaspora to help fund or part-own some of these projects via say buying shares in an investment body or setting up a body of venture capitalists. This is where states like Anambra can come into their own and easily raise nothing less than $2 Billion over say a 8 year period.
The kind of projects that the south-east states need are ones that the cost could run into billions of dollars. Projects like railways; airports; highways; bridges; education; health; tourism; urban renewal and real-estate; etc! |
