khadaffi: I don't think this law is bad, as a matter of fact it will be useful in Nigeria.I know you are using style to tell us jona shouldn't have been allowed to go to school ..Take ya time o! ehen! ![]() |
LordReed: I don't think a HDD fail is eminent, you can do a checkdisc for bad sectors. I would advise you to buy the RAM, its cheaper and will have more immediate effect on overall system performance.Thanks... more grease, ororo and red oil to your elbows ![]() Also @ all4naija.. thanks a million for the wonderful advice. |
@ all4naija and LordReed, I can only go for one of the advices you guys have given. Should I get the hard disc or RAM upgrade. Thanks to you guys and one love. |
LordReed: For a 32bit system 4GB will be a waste because the system will only make use of 3GB unless of course you upgrade the OS to 64bit at the same time.thanks for the info bro. i really apreciate. |
all4naija: Go for the third option. It is clear that is major cause.thanks a lot bro. |
all4naija: There are three things you would have to do in getting it back with appreciable speed.Thanks. But one of the reasons I formated the laptop (three times) was to clean it for viruses and malwares. |
LordReed: You are using to little RAM. Win7 minimum is 2GB. If you can upgrade your RAM to 3GB.Thanks, I thought as much. There are two sticks of 500MB in each RAM slot in my laptop. I'm thinking of getting two of 2GB to make it 4GB or do you think I can get two 1.5GB RAMs to make 3GB (I dont know if 1.5GB exist). How can I tell a genuine RAM from a fake and do you have any idea how much it can cost me. Also can I sell off the old ones or make a bargain to get the new ones. I need to arm myself with all these info. before i go and buy. thanks |
all4naija: What is the Acer model? Its an Acer ASPIRE 4720Z 32-bit laptop RAM - 1GB Processor - 1.6GHz dual CPU (intel) It originally came with windows vista but I've since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate There is no appreciable speed drop when starting up Its always connected to the internet via wireless from 9am to 9pm (which are my active time) It also slows down or freezes up when I'm not on the internet it freezes more frequently when I'm watching a movie. I sometimes will have to restart the laptop before I can continue with whatever I was doing Even when I have several applications running at the same time, switching between applications can me slow at times I had a look at the RAM meter and it was above 90% when it froze |
Tymax: Why will a guy propose with a car? Isn't that manipulative? Are you hoping to purchase her commitment? Have things become so bad that you need to secure her heart with a car?Why are you sounding like a pained person na. Did he not also purchase the ring with money? If he has the money and the girl is cool with it, why not some good girls are worth many many cars sef. better stay away from all those chewing gum girls you are hanging out with. ![]() Abeg free somebody jare |
deji2009: what is the exact model of your laptop ? for example acer aspire 5315 windows vistaThanks deji, Its an Acer ASPIRE 4720Z It originally came with windows vista but I've since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate There is no appreciable speed drop when starting up Its always connected to the internet via wireless from 9am to 9pm (which are my active time) It also slows down or freezes up when I'm not on the internet it freezes more frequently when I'm watching a movie. Hi computer engineers, I'm using an Acer 32-bit laptop with the following configuration. RAM - 1GB Processor - 1.6GHz dual CPU (intel) Operating system - Windows 7 Ultimate The laptop has been slowing down of late and sometimes freezes up for like a minute which can be frustrating. I have a good anti virus and I have formatted the laptop several times but the problem still persist. I'm currently thinking of upgrading the RAM to 3GB or 4G but I don't know if that would solve the problem. |
Teespice: I will never be at any losing end. if a guy can't decipher that the rings I wear are for fancy then that's his business mehn.laff catch me.. dey there dey where pant. Keep shrouding your self in mysteries.. by the time your peers and younger ones marry finish you go know. Let me tell you the truth. Most good and responsible guys have other things to think about and will not have time to worry about what message some immature girl is trying to pass. Besides they meet a lot of cool and mature ladies all the time and they have more pool of mature and responsible girls to pick from than you can imagine. Some one like you is probably at the lowest rung of the ladder and may not get much consideration and you are still acting miss childish and complicated. |
Kinkybraids: you have a point... I deserved to be ignored...I wasnt fully into it. I was pre occupied with other things. So maybe he shouldnt even waste more attenttion on me.Maybe you should make it clear by telling him instead of leading him on. |
Hmmmm.... e be like som pipo don chop money com decided to burn evidence. |
He can try a career in wrestling. eediat

Descartes: Can you prove that your allegation in any court of competent juridictionCan you show me the competent cour.rt of jur.isdiction that freed him. We are not talking about corr.upt jurisdi.ction that take directives from jonadafftt. |
desgiezd: What made Al-Mustapha a political heavyweight, is it because he is a killer?Abi ooo. help me ask am oo |
Kinkybraids: That point about him getting revenge is really catching my interest. Im actually in a similar situation. There is this guy that i think is good looking, nice but doesnt excite me to talk to him. He asked me out around march n we had a great time but his follow up was weak...maybe he expected me to call. So he went silent but we would occasionally talk. He asked me out again n i always said i was busy bt id see. We met just for a stroll n i felt no chemistry but he tells me he has feeling for me ect. I didnt reciprocate n now he is back asking me out on date and telling me his feelings. Why would a guy chase you for 5 months? Do u think he just wants revenge ? He isnt a bad guy but he can be very proud so i dont get itThis is where you blew it. If I went out of my way to ask a girl out and followed it up by taking her out on a date and we eventually had a great time. Frankly speaking I would expect her to at least give me a call or send an sms and say something nice like "thanks for a great evening" or "I had a wonderful time" etc. This will reassure me that all my efforts (even when not reciprocated) are being appreciated. When he didn't call, nothing stops you from calling him to say "hi, just checking up on you" or any other stuffs like that. A mature and reasonable girl will not just lie down and lap up all the attentions and not reciprocate or even appreciate. |
Teespice: I can't say I am guilty of wearing fashion rings because to me it's what it is, fashion. it is up to the men to dechiper that. But you are the one losing end at the end of the day by surrounding yourself with so much mystery codes. Its like writing an examination with bad illegible handwriting and saying its up to the lecturer to decipher what you are trying to say. What most girls don't get is that real and responsible men most times have a lot on their minds and will not spend hours thinking and wondering and trying to decipher what is on the mind of some stray girl he saw at the pool or cinema |
sexyseun: hmmmm.. now our Nigeria police go happy die!!! this na avenue for them to make more money. When their money-making go plenty na during harmattan period wey weather go cold and smoke go dey comot for ya mouth. if dem catch u during dat period say smoke dey comot for ya mouth. na police station be dat or pay 100,000 egunjeThis cracked me up ![]() |
GeneralShepherd: The western world hates you and they give you millions of dollars in grant every year, right?Typical slave mentality.. When will Africans learn to stand up for themselves and stop worshiping westerners. Africans have been brainwashed into believing they are a curse to their white slave masters. smh |
Fadelex: COREN should set their priority right. Building construction is not the job of COREN. NIOB(Nigeria Institute of Building) is the body that owns building construction while the regulatory body is CORBON (Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria). engineering is a very wide field where COREN should be making a lot of effort to sanitize but they're looking for where they'll get quick cash by dabbling into building construction. make I catch COREN for my site he will show me where it is stated in the national building code that COREN should regulate building construction.Guy! cool down, your blood too dey hot ![]() Any building construction should involve qualified professional like Electrical engineers, Builders, Architects, Surveyors, Mechanical engineers and Civil engineers. Builders alone cannot handle everything. ![]() I have worked in construction sites with all the above guys and all I can say is that we are a team. |
dolphpaul: im an Engineer A COREN member by the way.Its sad hearing a learned man and leader of many talking this way.Is it the fault of the owner or as a result of using sub standard materials. How many so civil Engineers are qualified to be called structural Engineers. The fault is partially the house owner but fully the supervising Engineer.just all in the name of making money.A good Engineer is after a good name than money.I wonder why you should call yourself a COREN member. Please correct yourself, you can only describe yourself as a COREN registered engineer. If truly you are a COREN registered engineer, then you would have seen that most of the construction jobs done in this country don't involve qualified engineers. Wicked and greedy landlords prefer to employ quarks rather than employ qualified engineers that will maintain standards. Innocent Nigerians have lost their lives and properties due to the activities of wicked and greedy landlords that employ quarks instead of qualified engineers. |

Paentera: Now let me school you - it was Arabs that introduced Mathematics and not Islam. Obviously you are oblivious to the fact that Arabic and Islam are mutually exclusive and are not one and the same. There are also Arabic Christians if you must know and tribes like the Yazidi are not Muslims.I know your type, you have been brainwashed to hate Arabs and/or Muslims. Go back in history and you will find out that it was the Muslims that brought learning and education to mankind. Even the whites (your slave masters) know this and are rather silent on the matter because they know they can never change history. I'm sure you are also very much ignorant of the fact that the oldest university in the world is an Islamic institution located in Arab land where science was studied at a time when the whole of Europe was wallowing in ignorance, magic and superstition. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but its too late to change history. Watching CNN and BBC is not enough to educate you. Please learn to read books also. |
stankezzy: dis same people dat are killing students are rushing to congratulate her,i wonder oo!hahaha see beef o! ![]() If you were one of the judges that awarded the prize, you would have asked them to crucify her. Them haters are having serious headache and stomach pain. ![]() Eiya! pele. |
Arosa: The muslims may have introduced zero to the world but Indians(non-muslims) knew about it earlier. You don't know how to lie sef. Its like telling me Indians invented Igbo language and tought it to Igbos. Guy! You are not making sense at all. Zero is an Arabic language and Muslims have used it in science for many many years before the rest of the world caught on. Its too late to change history boy! |
darkchild1: Just thinking out loud. In my opinion guys generally are getting quite lazy these days, when it comes to having quality and intelligent conversations with the opposite sex. They seem to just hide behide social media tools. Can't remember the last time I had a thought provoking decent conversation . Other than, wassup, what r u up to blah blahMaybe you should stop hanging around okada riders and puff-puff sellers ![]() |
Dumb black people especially Nigerians don't know that Islam introduced mathematics to the world. The 1,2,3,4,5,6... that you have been studying since primary school is Arabic Muslims are the first people to introduce the number 0 (zero) to the world. Muslims introduced the science of Mathematics to the otherwise illiterate Europeans. Watching CNN and BBC alone will never educate you. Read! Read!! Read!!! |
