Grizza: is
really funy what is happening in dis two states, am from rivers state
and i think north has no oil, how come? where were kogi when anambra was
installing that plant?
Just because you went and built a house on someone's land does not automatically make the land yours.

uju22: I thought both states have settled on dis issue
Yes it was settled until those two timing greedy ibos went back to the disputed land.

BTW: The OP is just a useless and mischievous bastard. Why give give a one-sided account, he failed to say clearly that it was the ibos that first went back on their word by going back to the disputed land.

Allahu Akbar.

I'm really proud of the young man because he has done the country proud.
This is an international Qur'anic competition, people come from all over the world to compete for the number one position in Qur'anic recitation.

May Allah continue to bless Nigeria, ameen.

Allahu Akbar.

Anytime a good thing happens to a Muslim, the unbelievers will start hating and foaming at the mouth.

When you get promoted at work, its trouble
When you buy a new car, its trouble for them
When your kid tops his class, its trouble for them
When you build your own house, its trouble (as if you are the one that said they should use their own money to drink and womanize)
When your wife gives birth, its trouble.
etc
Habba!!! una no dey tire?

A Nigerian has done the country proud.

Kentnickole: Her CGPA is actually 4.53
Proof: since they are using a scale of 4.0
You have: (3.62/4)5= 4.525= 4.53
(approx.)
Hence she graduated with 4.53 CGPA on a
5.0 scale rating.
CGPAs are not rounded but truncated. 3.62 on a 4.0 scale will be equivalent to 4.52 on a 5.0 scale.

The young lady is a very bright person. Kudos to her.

Quite being so dumb, she achieved more than that. On a scale of 4.0, 3.62 is equivalent to 4.52

How can you even want equality when you don't feel equal to students in your institution.

obayaya: Universities and polytechnics are 2 different kinda institutions. With 2 different training modules, Awarding 2 different kind of certificates to 2 different kind of graduates for satisfaction of 2 different kind of Job Market.

The truth is that, Polytechnics is the pinnacle of Technical education in Nigeria.

All these brouhaha is due to the facts that there are no job opportunities. little or no companies and firms to absorb the teeming number of graduates from both the universities and polytechnic. Creating a fierce competition for the little employment opportunities out there.

In the Oil and Gas industry, HND holders are preferred on the Rigs.
Word!

@ bolded: to be managed by a B.Sc. holder who earns like five times what HNDs earn and with prospects of making it to top management.

There is usually nothing in their head. Trust me I know.

They are very difficult to manage, you have to micro-manage then all the time. Poly guys have no initiative.
Though they are very good at taking orders.

If u cnt date me,u cnt frnd zone me walahi......
Feraz: You go all through the way being altruistic only for the girl to turn around and say she can't date you despite knowing you're interested in her? It is mostly this 'nice guy' acts that lead to guys being the mayor in the rubbish called 'friendzone'. I don't have a problem having female friends and can profer solutions to your problems but once interest sets in and you decide you can't date me but prefer me as 'friend', then why bother me with your tales of woes when it should be your boyfriend who should be listening to those? A guy doesn't care about you, beats you, does all sorts of demeaning things to you, only for you to run to that friend that you've 'friendzoned' to cry on his shoulders? This is the same guy who'd treat you like a queen and give you his all even skipping his time with his friends just to be with you. This same girl will be jealous when she sees you smiling with other ladies who she feels has interest in you. Who does that if not a selfish person? Most guys here aren't pained by the way! We've all moved past the pain and are wise now.
LMAO!!!! Epic!!!

Another Nicrosoft fraud... Trying to whip up controversy so as to sell their product.

Why didn't they show us all these before the world cup started.

Besides, from the engineering point of view, there is nothing special about it, they have already imputed values into a written algorithm. The values inputted are basically the ratings of the teams and their history, even a baby can tell you the outcome after that.

If they want us to take their contana serious, it should predict step-by-step what is going to happen in the remaining matches of the world cup, it should tell us who will score and at what time. It should also tell us who are going to get fouled and at what time during the matches.

bukatyne: Hunger never wire the man!

A man gets home like 2hrs before his wife and waits for her to come back before eating?

If he cannot fix dinner for his wife because he is the head/man/oga or she is the tail, can't he get something for himself?

Like I said, hunger never wire am.
Shame!
Another product of bad upbringing.

This one hasn't even gotten there yet and is already misbehaving.

What most girls of your type don't seem to realize is that attitude like that does no one any good in the long run. It only leads to much tension and emotional problems in the home. Just so you know, people in high profile jobs don't need domestic problems, because those problems have a way of creeping up on them at the office and affecting their work. High profile jobs are decision making jobs with serious consequences and once you starts making costly mistakes, that same company might see you as a risk and will eventually have to let you go.
FamilyRe: Successful Career Women Can't Have It All - Pepsi CEO, Indra Nooyi by numericalguy(m): 11:19am On Jul 05, 2014
cococandy: Doesn't that contradict the topic sentence?
being a wife, mother, daughter, care taker, home keeper is a beautiful position to be in.

Leave what crown at the garage?
This where you guys get it wrong.
'Wifehood' 'motherhood' is a crown itself.

What you just said makes it sound like all the above are lowly positions and once a woman who's CEO in any big shot company gets home what she need to do is remove the crown.
and become what??

I think I get the message you guys are wrongly trying to pass accross.
It's the right message.
But it's being passed the wrong way. Being the caretaker and the mother and wife in a home is a very exulted position. And unless a woman is confused about her role in the family, she won't see it as not having it all.

If I can rise to be a CEO and a leader in any public outfit with the respect and benefits that goes with it. Then on reaching home,I'm the undisputed mother, wife and care giver. Taking care of my family and trying as much as possible to give them my best.
Then I will count myself as someone who has it all.it may not be 100 percent. And some days might just be hell.
But that's as close to perfect as life can be.

So one can't say a woman who's the CEO in her workplace and the woman/wife/mother/caregiver in her home is not having it all.if anything,it is the dream of most women.
@bolded

Become a regular mom and wife. That should'nt be too difficult for her
PoliticsRe: My Son’s Resignation From Govt Shocking -oba Of Benin by numericalguy(m): 9:41am On Jul 05, 2014
philips70: So in your warped mind you are wiser and more knowledgeable than the most revered monarch in Nigeria? You might have some elements of bile against Oshiomhole and his party but I reiterate the oba has the wealth of experience to recognize those who mean well for his state. As for the authenticity of that release you sure know the oba will not waste time in issuing a refutal if it's not from his palace. For godfatherism and rascality you know where to point your fingers. Just that Oshiomhole decided to beat them to it to save Edo state.
Guy, abeg that your Oba is very senseless.
He has no moral right to support one party/affiliation/association over others in as much they are all bini people. The institution of the Oba/Emire in Nigeria plays the role of a father to all and should not be discriminatory in anyway.

Foreign AffairsRe: Soldiers Didn't Burn BRT Buses In Lagos - Nigerian Army by numericalguy(m):
Atk1nson: If d army can deny sumtin dis open, I wonder how one can trust the news dey give from Sambisa forest
The military are just a bunch of liars.. Even that cow Gen. Olajide Olaleye is just a useless liar because as a military man, he will never fault the military. My question is this, how can you be a judge in your own case.

This goes to show that even the reports on tackling insurgency were all lies.

The military are so dumb, they don't realize they just shot themselves in the foot by denying this horrible action because they may think they have. Gotten away with this one but they have lost their credibility. Henceforth, nothing they say will ever be taken seriously.

If I remember correctly, it was this same military that wanted to take the credit for the brave escape made by some of the Chibok girls in Borno state. The same useless military that told Nigerians it had freed all the Chibok girls.

My advise to these dumb cowards called Nigerian military is to rescind their steps, apologize to the Nation for what some of its member did, fish out the culprits and punish them. Then they just might restore some level of credibility, other than that, Nigerians will continue to look at them as just a bunch of liars and cowards.
