wxyz1:This is not about keeping quiet. U with wealthy brain, pls prove him wrong. |
veekid:Read the post above u. Same was done to Christians not quite long ago but the Muslims did not make noise about it. So why the noise now. Let me tell u, it is very rare to hear or read a comment from Muslims condemning either the Christians directly or whatever is done by the government to make their religious practice easy for them but the very moment similar gesture is extended to the Muslims, it becomes noise all over the places. One goat posted that Islamic pilgrimage is an excursion. Well, what I will say is that the world has so changed that confirmed offenders are claiming innocent and at the same time accusing the actual innocent ones. Btw Christian and Muslim pilgrimage I wonder which is more of religious practice than the other. While pilgrimage is an important pillar in Islam, I wonder what the position of such visit in christianity is. Additionally, with or without such palliative measure the intending pilgrims will still embark on the mission because it is not compromised. |
darlingtonIIV:It is either u didn't read the post/watch the video or u have issues with comprehension. |
OP, good job. But I will like to express my reservation on para 4. I don't think the word 'everybody' is actually a collective term. It is is more of an expression about individuality than being collective. E.g. everybody will be given his/her entitlement. You will agree with me that his/her is a third person singular. Also, the word, 'staff', when used with reference to the personnel serving in an organisation, it is more appropriate to say 'member(s) of staff. Meanwhile, I stand to be corrected. |
herzern:Since she is an adult, I think her pastor's bedroom should be the first port of call abi? SMH. |
idupaul:Read my comment once again. I didn't say the military personnel is superior to the civilian. Infact, the military should be subordinate to civil authority. Ur assertion that military personnel shouldn't enjoy privilege is borne out of pure ignorance. Google is ur friend. How, for instance, can u say if the rating (in uniform ) is on an official mission which probably will save ur life and one Union official is delaying him because of something of less importance. I hope u know the importance of security. This is just a clue to reasons why the security personnel enjoy some of the privileges. You shouldn't expect a security personnel to be struggling with civilians when he has security tasks ahead of him. One example: do u know that in US, where almost everything is tasked, military personnel don't pay for transport by train? All they need is to present their ID card. The fact that some security personal abuse these privileges shouldn't be a reason to say that they are just enjoying goodwill bro. Get ur facts right and stop misleading the public. Meanwhile, I am not justifying the action of the naval rating because he is subject to the armed forces act which is against assault. |
idupaul:I will advise u to stop all these stories of who is right or wrong. Let me tell u, due to the nature of their job, military personnel enjoy some privileges and it is all over the world. Go and find out. For instance, for obvious reason, it is wrong for a military personnel in uniform to be on queue with civilians at the atm machine not because they are superior to civilians. If u don't know why, then your problem is greater than I thought. Back to the nurtw official and the naval personnel. A vehicle boarded by a military personnel shouldn't be delayed due to trivialities like this. This is just a rule of thumb. A superior officer in the military may not be pleased with the action of the naval personnel but in any case they deserve to enjoy some privileges. |
mondee02:Pls don't get the whole concept twisted. The founding mandates of both categories of institutions still stand, and as such Poly remains hnd while unis remain bsc. Infact, I am just waiting to see how this will work out. Cos I don't know how a poly graduate with less theoretical knowledge will prescribe a solution in an environment where a bsc holder exist maybe just because he (the hnd holder) is a superior officer. Is just like a nurse directing a doctor on the appropriate prescription for an ailment. Anyway, let's wait and see how the new system works out. |
debco:While I'm not holding brief for limited exposure to practicals on the part of the bsc holders, it will interest u to know that the most difficult part of engineering is the theory itself and that is the live wire of the engineering field. Theory and practical can be equated to software and hardware respectively. Let me tell u, u don't need to attend high school to be good in practical but certainly, same cannot be said of theory. And as I have said earlier, theory is the soul of engineering. All engineering practicals are based on theory. The relationships between a bsc holder and hnd in engineering can be likened to the type between a doctor and a nurse. |
hardestyoung:U got it wrong. Most of these private sectors want to minimise cost by paying the hnd holders lower. I assure you that now that their status are the same, parade will change. Watch and see. |
Ekeeyhandsome:That's exactly where the problem lies. The private sector is the largest employer of labour and I bet u that majority of them prefer bsc. They sometimes employ hnd holders to reduce running cost (reduced salary). But now that both bsc and hnd are on the same pedestal, I don't think it is going to be that rossy for the latter. |
ceaser:I swear u just spoke my mind. |

Is that a religious issue? Keep faning the embers. |
Mrfahaz:Those are the religious bigots who don't want this country to progress. And if u check this one properly, u will discover that she has committed more atrocities than even the devil himself. |
herzern:I am sure u didn't get the msg cos u are more interested in the msger. |
Fedayeen02:Assumptions, based on bigotry and hatred is the problem of black man. BH that had been in existence during Yar'adua's administration was founded by Buhari, is that what u are saying? Sometimes, we need to be scientific in our assumptions, it will go a long way in developing the Black. It is practically impossible to hear of blind and baseless accusations like this in developed countries even if everybody in that country wants the president dead, go and find out. |
Handsomecole:I tire o. Infact, majority of those that hawk the herbal drinks around rarely include alcoholic drinks. The paraga ones are, in most cases, in one location (especially by the roadside) surrounded by costumers. |
Pavarottii:What's this one saying? |
prinsam30:Get ur lawyer fast cos Zahra's suitor may invoke the copyright act. Just advising. |
ba7man:Infact, it will not even be discovered. This has been the practice since 1999 but you will never hear anything close to that. But Nigerians, being what we are, openness is a crime. The present administration is not inclined to such executive/legislative criminality and that is why it seems to be the first ever to bring such issue to public notice. Also, when the president refused to sign the budget on the account of this padding, what was public reaction? Nigerians seem to prefer administration in which everything is hidden away from them. |
fearless15:This girl is by far prettier than mj pls. Is mj even pretty? |
Iseoluwani:This is one of them. Already insulting. |
henryagori:May be I should furnish u with several threads in which Muslims were insulted by the non Muslims due to one anti social behaviour or the other against fellow Muslims? |
If na Muslim do this one now, na anoda opportunity to insult Muslims all over the world. But now nobody don insult christianity o. Okay o. |
WiseFool2:U no well. A beg no kill me with laff. |
Arsewipemod:Just allow d donkey to continue eating its grass. Imagine justifying the activities of BH. |
Yehman:U see ur self? Now u view it as an act of one man but when similar issue occurs in the north, u want it to be viewed as if the entire northerners are involved. Don't worry, the rulership of falsehood over truth is but temporary. |
Yehman:I just hope u will repeat this statement when a northern Muslim is involved in a criminal activity. |
BamideleUbuntu:From your comment, it is quite obvious that u have sound knowledge of science, very good. Meanwhile, u may recall that while being schooled in this science, understanding the already established concepts is even a serious issue. E.g, I will, with all sense of humility, submit that I don't still understand the basic concept of the highly differential Schrodinger equation. And this same equation is not just being understood by the originators, but also being applied to solve some problems. Also, as we all know, any attempt to create energy is certainly an exercise in futility. The science of using low energy high frequency pulse to separate water molecule into its constituent elements (I haven't heard of that b4) is certainly not self-sustainable. Even if it is, at least the low energy must be coming from somewhere. Additionally, if truly such a scientific breakthrough has been recorded, the global energy problem would have been a thing of the past and it can never be as simple as this 'water-based generator'. (Nuclear Reactor comes to mind). Also, take a look at solar panels which work on the principle of photo emission (not thermionic). The important factor in this equipment is not the intensity of the sunlight but the frequency of the light ray which must exceed a particular value called the threshold otherwise there wouldn't be emissions and by extension no energy conversion. The bottom line is that energy exists in different forms and the only thing you can do to it is to transform it to the form in which u need it using any appropriate less hazardous and cost effective means. Finally, since you agree with this invention, I will be glad if u can explain how it converts water to electricity. |
Please this is not hijab. She simply covered her head and nothing more. |
BABANGBALI:Sharrap. How many rape cases have you heard from their side compared to the other side? Who are the owners of brothels in the north and south. The only thing I know about them when it comes to women is that the randy ones spend very well for their concubines. |
Another one from same region and religion. The day Ibrahim will be involved, it becomes a good opportunity to insult Muslims again. Okay o. |
