But other regions have more representatives that SE on Governor's, senators and house of reps.

The status quo remain the same

Yes they have 6 governors,. 18 senators and over 50 Reps. How does this make the SE not to have electoral value?

Politics / 2023; Tips For Igbos Concerning Political Game And The Need To Ignore Deceivers by Nwadiuto247: 9:42pm On Nov 17, 2020
Those who always scream that South East has no electoral value are either ignorant or deceiving themselves.

Election is not only about president alone. Other component parts of governance- the governors, senate and House of Reps members are very important as well.

When you look at South East region with five governors, fifteen senators and over forty House of Reps members and you say they have no electoral value because you think their voting strength is not big as others, you are knowingly or unknowingly disgracing yourself. Go and ask Buhari the agony he passed through in the hands of a senate that was not on his side during his first tenure.

During elections, parties struggle hard to win more governors, senators and Reps than the other party.

Anybody that thinks that PDP will be happy to lose the various seats they have in the SE is actually deceiving himself/herself.

On the other hand, anybody who thinks that APC will not be happy to win the seats presently occupied by PDP in the SE is also deceiving himself/herself. Dont let anybody deceive you with their nonsensical electoral value theory that is based on gross foolishness and deceit.

I urge you my people to henceforth begin to vote based on personality and remove the PDP sentiments which you have used over the years.

Sentiment does not produce good candidates. Forget about party, vote personality.

Remove sentiments on your neighbours because they bear Igbo names. Enough of that crap. Go for quality pls.

Also learn to play sportsmanship in politics. No hard feelings on your opponents rather keep strategizing on the way forward after each political game. Continue to build bridges across the region. No region can make it alone.

Finally dont allow Nnamdi kalu to deceive you. Go and get your voters card when they start giving it. On the election day go and cast your vote to the candidates of your choice.

The same way you dont give up when your business is not doing well, dont give up when the electoral system seem not to be in good shape. Lets continue to strive for good, we shall achieve it.

The Ikwerre Bini have fool and confuse the igbos for long time but this game will end henceforth

The Speak a Dialect of Igbo language , Answer Igbo Names , Dress like us so its easy for us to get confuse and call them our brothers not because we want to claim them but purely based on confusion , The Ikwerre Bini Hate the igbos more than any tribe in Nigeria , took our fathers property in Port Harcourt and called it abandoned Property when the Yorubas in Lagos return it to us .

Come 2023 the Igbos will play a National Politics based on our Political interest , and we are open to options in APC at least our major problem with APC is personal hatred for Buhari but by 2023 , Buhari will be out of the picture

Uche Secondus PDP Chairman is an Ikwerre Bini man they used him to confuse the Igbos so that we will think our Brother is the PDP chairman

Gov Ezebunwo Wike is the top Godfather in PDP and he is an Ikwerre Bini man until during this endsars protest when he clarify he is not Igbo I was also confused because of his Name thinking he is our brother .

Clearly the Ikwerre Bini People are taking advantage of the igbos and taking positions that we should rightfully occupy and we never protest because we are fooled by their names and identity , Today igbos hold not even a single top position in the PDP yet we are their stronghold for 21 years now

I support Mass Exodus of Igbos to APC in 2023 and to negotiate a very good positions for us enough of PDP and Ikwerre Bini Deception

Una eye don dey clear now.

I am so happy that Wike has cleared you peoples eye.

Its been long i have been telling you guys to stop seeing Ikwerre as Igbo but foolish IPOB guys fail to listen,

Support the Igbos in SS who agree that they are Igbos and stop defending Wike and his Ikwerre people. Ikwerre is useless to us so i dont see the reason you keep defending them.

I am vindicated

If majority are in support of Igbos, then we can say Igbo's in general are in support abi no be on this NL's your same people have been calling you Efulefu?

Ipob are very stubborn bunch who are always ready to abuse and fight once you disagree with them.

I argue with them both online and offline. Dem no dey hear word.

Reduce them to a mere association , that's where they belong.

Very important.
Although Wike was trying very hard in that interview not offend the Igbos by showering lots of praise. I know he was being political.

For me Ohaneze should remove Ikwerre people.

Why force people to be Igbo while at the same time blaming Luggard for forcing you to be Nigerian?

All this just because of Igbo presidency. Agreed that in the spirit of fairness there must be Igbo presidency, but I would advise the Igbos to use wisdom so that they would not loose their place of honor in the PDP. If the APC ticket is given to an Igbo and the North retains the PDP ticket, there would be higher chances that the PDP will win the election and the Igbos will become orphans politically for the next 30 years.

We need wisdom!
Not just for presidency alone but also in the national assembly.

Let there be a balanced spread n the APC and PDP for better politicking and negotiation.

Thats my point. Election is not only about the presidency please.

One thing always amaze me about you Ibos, it is the fact that you are nothing in politics but always attribute too much importance to yourselves and that always bring you guys out as jokers and inconsequential in politics because the players have understood your NOTHINGNESS.

Igbo don’t practice democracy, what is democracy when almost 90% of a tribe vote the same party everytime like they are being controlled by an emotional force?

True political democracy gives the people the liberty to choose among political parties in an election and the ability of citizens to vote in almost 60/40, 55/45% way is what makes democracy strong because the politicians will always be on their toes.

To buttress my fact, take Ikpeazu for example, he know that even if he did not do anything in Abia, the Ibos will always vote him because he is in PDP. That will make him relax and think he can do anyhow. What is democratic in that?

I’ve always tell people that the Igbos cannot succeed in politics like their peers in the majority tribe because your pattern of votes can be predicted with 100% accuracy. That gives your enemies the projection power to strategize because your votes are constant K, so they can easily mitigate against the effect.

What’s democracy when people are driven by emotions? Igbos are the only major tribe in Nigeria that are emotionally weak and that is your greatest problem.

You are very correct.

Don't mind my people and their emotions. They don't understand

1. Op based his assertion on Ebony State governor's decamp to APC.
2, Op is not an Igbo man though he claimed to be Igbo.
3, He only insulted Igbos and desire like minds who helped via their comments.
4, Igbos prefer fairness in government policies to the office of the president. (Only Igbo politicians who have parochial interest would opine that Igbos want presidency more that fairness in policies administered in Nigeria).
5, Buhari has tried but hunger still persist in Nigeria .(EndSars protest is as a result of ppl's uncomfortable with the government, Igbos didn't start EndSars protest).
6, From majority of the comments here, the aim of this thread is to exhibit hate against Igbos.
In conclusion, People should stop fanning the ember of hate and tribalism, we need a better Nigeria and not tribalism and hate, thank you.

Why is it that when somebody differs with your own opinion you say he is not Igbo? Tufiakwa.

It is better that way. Let PDP get the votes in Kano and the votes of the entire south east would pale to little.

Why are you having a myopic view?

The issue being discussed is not about presidency alone. Parties are also struggling to win more seats in the national assembly and more governorship seat across the country.

Every seat matters , as well as the presidency. There is no party that would like to lose any of the seat

A very big error of assumption. APC will win 2023 elections without the southeast if it is necessary. At the same time, APC will rule the country successfully with or without southeast support.

What is currently going on in Nigeria that you are gloating about (people of your extraction are usually happy when bad things are happening) is due to the political inexperience of Buhari and his morbid fear of military coup (having been removed from office once) that made him to appoint trusted persons who have parochial interest and therefore unsuitable for governance of a country as complex as Nigeria.

The next APC government will rule successfully with or without Igbo support just like GEJ ruled without the support of the southwest in 2011 - 2015.

Events of the last few weeks have indicated that PDP is ended. I need not say much on this for now.

Your analysis are not bad but APC is not sure to win in 2023 yet. .
Over the years of APC presidency they have lost a good number of their supporters due to bad governance.

You can agree with me that PDP recovered most of the positions they lost in 2015 during the 2019 election.

It all depends on the personalities that will be presented by both parties.

In an election that will produce candidates that are not as popular as buhari you can't be sure of who will win yet in both parties

Politics / How PDP Is Losing It In The Southeast. by Nwadiuto247: 8:31pm On Nov 11, 2020
PDP will lose a lot of vote in the southeast in 2023 election due to the following.

The 2015 and 2019 voting pattern in the South East was a kind of protest vote against APC who they see as people who cheated Jonathan out of power. With Buhari out of the game in 2023 the voting pattern will change and
PDP will lose a good number of it's voters in the South East to APC.

2. The rumour of killing of igbos in Oyigbo is another factor that has dampen the excitement the south east have about Wike and PDP.

3. The defection of Gov. Umahi to APC will lead to more defection before 2023 and this will affect PDP. Votes in the SE.

The days of 5% APC and 95% PDP in the South East are over.

APC has more visible projects in South East than the PDP but PDP gave South East more appointments than APC so each of the party has something to compaigñ with in the southeast.

The Southeast is now a level playing ground for both parties.
