Tinubu will not be sworn in.
Tinubu has reach the corridor of power but will not sit on the seat of president.

God has a plan for tinubu but it is not the presidency of Nigeria.
The perfect will of God for Nigeria is the OBIDATTI obedient new Nigeria.

Tinubu is threading a very dangerous path that may cost him the ultimate if he does not back off.

He should back off so that God will use for the plan he has for him.
If he continues to be put his head in this presidency against God's will, God will take him away.

Politics / Re: Don't Be Fooled, This Is Why Buhari Don't Want Obi by Nwaelohim: 4:49pm On May 21, 2023
SOSinNigeria:
Buhari does not like Tinubu but for some very selfish and wicked reasons, he prefers him than Obi. Buhari is avoiding Obi, not necessarily because he is a Christian or Igbo man but simply because of who he is. Obi is not just incorruptible, but also prudent, accountable, responsible and competent. These qualities are things Buhari lacks completely.

Should Obi succeed him, his incompetence and maladministration will become very obvious especially when juxtaposed against Obi's government that is very

likely going to be competent and accountable. Buhari will become more vilified and posterity will further judge him terribly. So, he prefers someone like Tinubu who is likely going to be like him at best or even worse. Remember what Garba shehu said that Nigerians will look back and appreciate Buhari. Someone like Obi would never be as bad as Buhari talk more of being worse for Nigerians to look back and appreciate Buhari years. But Tinubu certainly fits their plan.

Secondly, Obi will be more likely to probe Buhari's administration. At least, how trillions of borrowed money were embezzled will be exposed. Unlike Tinubu who is part of Buhari's administration and most of the people that is going to work for him already featured in Buhari's government. So, it would just be a continuation of Buhari's government under a different president.

Already, Tinubu is indebted to lots of corrupt politicians who he would have to compensate either through appointments or contracts. On the other hand, Obi does not have such baggage. It is Nigerian masses that would be entitled in his government and Obi would have no option than to perform creditably or lose their support...

OneCandleAway:

Do you realise there are no house of assembly in abuja. No governor. The president is the governor in abuja. So requiring just 25% of votes is fair enough compared yo other state requirements.

Your knowledge is very poor.
The minister of FCT is like a Governor of the State because you can’t have the president and a governor exercising their authority in one place. Those living in Abuja are Nigerian citizens therefore does not have special privileges section 299 of the constitution says Fct becomes like a state in a general election. Imagine if a state governor has to win the states capital before becoming a governor, tell me how does it sound?

Their protest and request is very well in line with the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

According to the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, we have no president elect.
The matters in court and until the court decides otherwise, swearing in tinubu will be swearing in an unconstitutional president. And doing so is opening up the country to all forms of lawlessness as any group or person can rise and declare himself or group president.

You are so ignorant. You don’t understand the power of INEC yet Tinubu for now is the president elect and will be sworn in on 29th May until court says otherwise. So reduce your emotional pressure and stress

If by chance the tribunal gives Abuja special status which I know is not possible considering section 299 of our constitution that has made FCT 37 states during presidential election, then the judges will be setting up our democratic institutions on fire. What is means is that only Abuja will determine who wins presidential elections.
Those arguing the 25% in Abuja should first understand the implications not because they are looking for CONFIRMATION BIAS to manage their emotions.

No judge will give Abuja special status in multi ethnic and religious country like Nigeria. Those pushing the narrative will cry marginalised when the odd changes in future.

He was simply made popular by enemies of Nigeria but those with real love for the country voted right.

Peter obi is just finding and easy way out of the stupidity he has put himself with his words declaring himself winner from 3rd position and the most useless election petition I have ever seen in my entire lifetime. Giving FCT a special status was another stupidity and ignorance. Oh God help Obidients with wisdom Amen
