Whites control the economy because they control the land (and valuable resources such as diamonds and uranium)

In Zimbabwe - at least Mugabe put his people back in control of the land - after which sanctions were imposed to prevent the indeginous people from enjoying the riches of Africa the whites so covet.

Fela was a true 'African Phrophet' - thats one thing no Nigerian (Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo) can deny.

Ifeanyi Uba (MD/CEO CAPITAL OIL AND GAS). He will be Anambra state governor come 2014??

The subsidy thief? Has he repaid his looted funds?

Let the guy declare his intentions - as he will quickly be exposed as another crook who has no business in politics.

Sometimes I wonder for these oyibo people - always seem to know the news before GEJ or any Nigerian Govt official.

Hope GEJ watches 'Sky News' to know whats going on in his so called country.

In a few hours i'm sure he will emerge and state that 'he's on top of things' and the security forces have killed a few suspected (innocent) Boko Haramists.
Politics › Bomb Blast At Bayero University In Kano by NwaNimo1(op): 9:13am On Apr 29, 2012
Heard it on the news . . . .
At least six people have been killed in a gun and bomb attack at a university in Nigeria's northern city of Kano, witnesses and police said.

A bomb squad and military units are searching for the gunmen who mounted the attack at Bayero University.

Reports suggest the violence may have targeted Christian students who were holding a religious service in one of the lecture theatres.

An army spokesman said several wounded people had been taken to hospital.

"The attack took place in one of the lecture theatres used as a place of worship by Christians," said Lt Iweha Ikedichi.

"There were casualties, but I don't have exact figures. Some have been rushed to local hospitals."

He said soldiers and police had surrounded the university and were searching for the gunmen.

Mohammed Suleiman, a history lecturer at the university, said security guards had to run for their lives when the violence broke out.

"For over 30 minutes a series of bomb explosions and gun shots took over the old campus, around the academic blocks," he told Reuters news agency.

A BBC Hausa service reporter had seen six bodies at the university, and local police said the death toll could be higher.

No group has said it launched the attack, but the Islamist militant Boko Haram group is active in Kano.

Boko Haram carried out a bombing in Kano in January that killed about 150 people, its deadliest attack to date.

Nigeria's central government has struggled to contain the militant group, which operates mainly in the predominantly Muslim north, but has also struck as far south as the capital, Abuja.

Politics › Re: The Crime Wave Impacting British Of Nigerian Descent by NwaNimo1(m): 8:16pm On Apr 22, 2012
Dont blame the kids - Blame their parents.

Many cant afford to send their children back to naija periodically for holidays.

Many parents that can afford to do so - dont for one flimsy excuse or another (eg fear of kidnappers)

So we now have a generation of children of Nigerian origin that do not know their culture.

Many join gangs - as a supplement to being part of a tribe because they have lost their culture.

A few clever parents make the sacrifice and send their children back after a period to get some culture back home. Their children tend to turn out better.

If you ask many of these children where they are from they will say 'Peckham or Brixton' rather than Nigeria.

If you ask them their tribe they are more likely to say 'The SW2 Massive' rather than Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa.

A Nigerian court found him not guilty - a UK court finds him guilty of laundering stolen funds (which he obviously was guilty of)

And we rejoice. . . .

I feel sick - we may rejoice but our reputation as Nigerians/Black people has received another huge blow.

There will be a psychological impact on all black people irrespective of the nationality the white man has given them.

Silly question - who else will pay him £15,000 per week?

He's not started a game in 6 months and his manager will not pick him because he doesn't think he can last 45 minutes.

Kanu has tried - he should have been retired 6 years ago yet he's still getting paid.

Also Benjani is on £15,000 per week at Portsmouth and has also not started a game in 6 months.

Good on them . . . .
