50k as a monthly salary is so small as an income. The VO complained about how I accumulated over N3m, even though I earned over N200k as salary. So you see, this is a major problem.

You need to show how you accumulated funds or earnings.

na wa. what's your plan?

Hello Foski01,

Good to have change your program to something much progressive. The note is well simplified and addressing the VO's concerns as stated therein may help you application.

Since the VO raised concerns about the availability of the funds to you, why not make some part payment of your tuition fees from your sponsor's account and have the rest funds cool off in your BA.

You should ensure this time that you sponsor have a good closing balance after making these commitments. There is no need getting a new affidavit of sponsorship or LOI if the details contained therein are valid and updated.

Don't just focus only on trying to prove that your sponsor is financially stable. If you're a matured applicant, demonstrate your employment situation and level of establishment in your home country. There should be evidence and good convincing. If this can be settled, you will have less concern in regards to your HT.

If your sponsor is your in-law, why not briefly tell the VO why the sponsorship intent is important to him. You may also want to demonstrate that your parents are well-established and any close family member of utmost concern to your application.

Don't leave out your future plans and the importance of the prospect course to its fulfillment. Be realistic about it and ensure to use your environment to measure the plans and if possible, briefly discuss the blueprint(s) of its attainment.

The most important thing, avoid too many story telling in your letter, be direct and make it terse.

All the best

Good evening Mr. Just mellow.

As you might know, I was rejected based on finance.

In my previous application, I submitted 11Million and i also paid $12K to the school which covered first semester.

I am battling with arranging my profile my profile currently as i intend reapplying in january.

My sponsor will be paying my full tuition by jan. Also, sponsor's account balance has dropped to about 4Million but it will probably get higher after full tuition payment and at the time of my reapplication. I have funds in my account worth over 4million but i submitted my employment letter which i got from my parent since i am with the family business. The letter has 50,000 as my monthly salary even though i am not being paid but i have investments with the business that generates me income.

Note that I left the investment out of my application in order not to complicate it. I also did not submit my account statement during my first application.

Question:

1. Should i draft a new employment letter stating that i earn 300k and above?

2. Can you suggest a neat way that i can include my personal account in my application without complicating my application?

3. Is there any suggestion for me?

Please can someone explain the financial part of this clause?

Does it say;

1. Show 30,000 cad dollars
2. bring 1 year statement of acct?

Also, what will happen if my sponsor has paid my full tuition and has just about 5M left in his accout?

@nwanyiokpa please don’t be discouraged. Almost everybody gets a refusal. I didn’t see the GCMS notes you posted but if you say there was nothing specific in it, then the only point of issue will be your finances.

Like everyone else has said, pay your tuition and point that out in your letter of explanation, then get the full amount for your living expenses transferred into your account from your sponsor
Make sure your brother also highlights that in his letter of sponsorship.

I believe you will be successful second time around.

thank you luckymama

Good evening everyone;

In the spirit of re-application; I have some questions to ask

1. Aside paying my full tuition and submitting an account statement of 9M+, how else can i tackle rejection based on finance?

2. I was delayed because of only financial reason. Is it possible for them to include other reasons for denial after a reapplication? if yes, how can i avoid it?

if the debtor is a customer, (that's the only way I can even borrow you money) just keep calm and pretend as if you've forgotten, trust Nigerians they will never remind of that money until you tell them, but don't disturb them, they will soon forget they owe you, so when they come to do new business with you, once their spare cash is in your hands, take the money as your repayment, some will use their sense to know that they owe you, but some will still want it gragra just chirp this word 'you forget say you dey owe mean ' it doesnt stop there, some will still be persistent that you give them their spare money, that they want to used for a very important thing, but the logic is make your own need of the money more important than he's in that particular time

this works for small sum.

Any money you can't forfeit don't give out to a debtor. If someone asks for 10k and you know you can't wait for forever to your money back is better you help the person with 1k and let him go.

this is the Wisest talk on this forum. I have applied this severally and it works!!!

Hello NwanyiOkpa,

Your case has been bothering me. I’ve been checking to see if I could see what went wrong. Since your cousin is your sponsor, did you submit his payslips? Or his business registration docs if he’s self-employed? Basically, did you prove his source of funds?

my blood brother is my sponsor.

i submitted his business CAC documents

Is quite a pity they rejected your application, but I'm confident you will be approved if you address the issue of fund and reapply.

Meanwhile you may go a bit further to share your full profile. Also assist with sample of "affidavit of good character).

The Affidavidt of good character would be done in a court. There is no particular sample for it. Just go to the court and tell them to do it for you.

Full profile: I am 25years, single and finished my NYSC last year.

Studied Mechanical Engineering, Bachelors and going for Oil and Gas Engineering (Masters of Applied Science, Course Based)

Hello NwanyiOkpa,

Sorry to hear about your refusal. I was really expecting a positive response. I hope the next one will be successful.

Have you ordered your gcms?

How much is your tuition for a year? How many years is the course?

first year is $21k CAD. MAsc in oil and gas engineering.

I have ordered GCMS notes.

Since it's just one reason why my application was denied, guess i have to focus on finance for my next app.

what i submitted was about $45k CAD.
