Matildabenn1: Good evening house please I would be needing your help in criticisms and all help I can get please I would really appreciate it on how to tackle my refusal letter... I finished high school 2015 and since then I haven’t attended a university but 2019 I made up my mind to go to the university so I tried applying to USA but was denied. 2020 I then applied to study in Canada but I choose a diploma in business administration and my gcms notes came out today and here’s the outcome I was denied due to the following reasons na wa! |

queenG2020: Hello guys,
I'm a silent reader, I received my gcms notes. Does it indicate approval?
Applied July 19th outside Nigeria AIP received Aug 19th Request gcms Aug 26th Received gcms Sept 17th congratulations, what's your profile like? |

mii4all: Silent reader..but i thought to share this one. I think everyone should apply for their gcms notes so you can plan yourself accordingly. it will certainly give you an idea of VO's leanings on your matter especially if you haven't gotten an update and your application has been ongoing for at least 3 months +. It seems a lot of decisions have already been made.
Profile: BSc Engineering, 30+, Married, Banker, going for MBA @ UoT
1st application; Applied 9th Feb No medicals Biometrics done 17th Feb BVL 5th Mar 1st Application Refused 6th Mar Reasons: Home ties, Purpose of visit, Employment prospects Applied for GCMS 10th Mar Received GCMS 8th April
2nd application 28th April Revised LOE specifically targeting visa refusal reasons and VO's concerns as seen in GCMS notes Upfront medicals Medicals passed 26th May BVL 26th May No update since, no AIP Started classes online without resigning 1st Sep Applied for GCMS 1st Sep Received GCMS 19th Sep
I suppose 'info sharing' as seen in the notes implies that PPR will happen when travel restrictions ease and normal operations resume.
It will end in praise.
congratulations! did you use an agent for your application and what docs did you submit? |

yungdril: GCMS just arrived and I need help with replying to this o, all the gurus abeg say something. Applied 10th June with upfront medical. 1. I paid tuition deposit of 2500 2. Submitted documents to prove sponsor is sole signatory of the corporate account 3. Submitted 3 landed document of family 4. Tried to explain in sop what I planned to do after studies. Please advise on course of action @vibrant @frank @justwise to mention a few. Thanks for your responses. It seems that the VO didn't see your tuition deposit. Did you attach your tuition deposit receipt to your application? and also, the VO didn't like the fact that you used a cooperate account. please could you outine the documents you submitted? |

Sanovsky007: So i recieved my gcms notes last night. Eligibility failed due to the reasons below. My course of study is very close to my undergraduate degree, my previous employment is same with my choosen course of study, all my family members are here in Nigeria.
I wrote my SOP myself, I'm thinking now my SOP was poor though i felt i addressed all these issues on it.
I would like to reapply... if the guru's don't mind to help me out analyse this. Also If someone can share their SOP that was successful i would be grateful. My email is wirehay76@gmail.com.
please when did you apply? and what's your full profile? |

sleekcheek: I just got my gcms notes (applied on the 25th of August. To be honest I expected this result while still hoping for the best. I have already deferred my admission to winter 2021 and I intend to repackage my application and reapply.
My question is there is a part where the wrote *do not finalize until biometrics is completed or a new letter is sent when VACs reopen* What letter are they referring to? Does this mean I still have hope of saving this application or should I just wait till they finalize and reapply again?
Thank you all for your anticipated assistance please how did you apply for the note? also, kindly share your profile. Thanks. 1 Like |
