i get your argument..but the truth is that..even in London, we still have bet shops located very close to town center and train stations..there is a advantage that comes with physical locations for BET shops.check out the travel agency guys..they are still making money , meanwhile people can still buy tickets online, even DSTV agents still open physical offices, yet we can pay online..i suggest u go ahead and get a good location for your BET shop..goodluck

ANYBODY SUPPORTING BUHARI IS INSANE..
EzegeNG:
The Bus conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, have declared their support for the second term bid of President Buhari.
The group in statement released by its National Liason officer, Israel Adeshola, said they are in a hurry to see President Buhari return to Aso Rock in 2019.

The statement Reads;

“Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) of Buhari Campaign Organization (BCO) is deeply and passionately committed to ensuring that the quality of life of Nigerians and indeed our future generation is secured and preserved. And the only way to achieve this is for us to collectively ensure that President Muhammadu Buhari returns in 2019.

We want all our children, regardless of race, creed or circumstances to be given opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our task therefore is to make this possible through our votes. I want to assure you that by casting our votes for president Muhammadu Buhari and APC, our children will have a guaranteed future and a promising tomorrow.

For avoidance of doubt, may I make it categorically clear that our advocacy for the rerun of President Buhari is borne out of our conviction that the interest of our future generation will be secured and assured under his leadership. We are not just advocating for the return of Mr. President, but we are indeed clamoring for good governance, selfless service to the motherland, purposeful and transparent leadership, foisted on integrity and sincerity.”

PoliticsRe: Osun Rerun: I’ll Retrieve My Stolen Mandate At Tribunal —Adeleke by nwatthu(m): 10:07am On Sep 28, 2018
JUSTICE CAN ONLY BE DELAYED, BUT CANNOT BE DENIED, TIME WILL TELL..SHAME ON APC
Johnnyessence:
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State , Senator Ademola Adeleke , has vowed to retrieve his ‘stolen mandate ’ from Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress at the election petition tribunal .
Adeleke said this while speaking in an interview with journalists shortly before the final figure was announced by the Returning Officer, Prof . Joseph Fuwape, on Thursday.
The PDP candidate , who spoke through his brother , Dele Adeleke , said he would meet with the party leadership and tribunal would be the next step for the party and the candidate to take .
He said , “It will be foolish to allow this 419 result to stand. The party will meet and I believe that the tribunal is the next step to take.
“Adeleke ’s mandate can ’t be stolen, it will be retrieved . The wish of the people will stand at the end .”
However , the All Progressives Congress has said the PDP is crying foul over the result of the Osun State governorship rerun election because of the inability of the opposition party to rig the poll .
The APC said this in a statement issued on Thursday by its Director of Publicity , Research and Strategy in Osun State , Mr Kunle Oyatomi .
Speaking in the statement released after the rerun poll which was held in seven units , the APC spokesperson said that the opposition party made an elaborate arrangement to rig the poll but were prevented from carrying out the act .
He said , “Osun people have spoken . The PDP was unable to manipulate the result this time around , so they are crying foul. We have always known and have made ourselves clear before the election that the PDP had made elaborate arrangements to rig the election through the manipulation of the card readers and it was this process that made them got the votes allocated to them in the first ballot .
“Nobody expected the PDP to even come second . Most people in Osun have the belief that it would be a straight fight between the APC and SDP. But as God would have it, Osun was saved from the vultures.
“We will like the Osun people to understand that the runoff votes went the way it did because the PDP was unable to manipulate the card readers this time around and fortunately the police thwarted their plot of vote -buying and trying to use the PVCs of unsuspecting voters . That was why some of their leaders were arrested . So the PDP should look for other excuses .
“They attempted to win by fraud; they failed in the first round and eventually lost the rerun election .” https://punchng.com/osun-rerun-ill-retrieve-my-stolen-mandate-at-tribunal-adeleke/

I STAND WITH ATIKU
nazzyon:
For him, Isa Munlaila, who had just arrived Abuja after embarking on an angered trekking from Lagos, against President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 presidential ambition, his 34 days journey, which he began about 40 days ago, as he claimed worth sacrificing for, saying his action was to registered youth anger over current state of the nation.

Having spend 34 days on road Munkaila, who left Lagos over a month ago, arrived Abuja yesterday evening, during which he said he was fulfilled to have trekked the distance from Lagos to Abuja against the second term aspiration of Buhari.

Speaking about the journey at People Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Abuja, on Tuesday, where he was received, the young Nigerian hinted that he tekked minimum of 12 hours on daily basis and then slept anywhere night meets him, and continuing his journey to Abuja.

He had initially planned to reach Abuja between 18 and 20 days, but because of a sore leg, the journey lasted for 34 days.

“As I trekked, I saw people angry with this present government because of hardship and failure to deliver on what was promised. When people see me, they hailed me for trekking. Some people were asking me if I was doing it for some political parties and I said no, but for the youths of this country. We are for good governance,” he said.

Doctuur:
Olusola Fabiyi, Abuja

All is not well among the members of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party over their support for the party’s presidential aspirants, The PUNCH learnt on Thursday.

The Board had, at its meeting last week, directed its members to be neutral and not declare any private or public support for any of the party’s 13 presidential aspirants.

The Chairman of the Board, Senator Walid Jibrin, who spoke after the meeting, said members of the BoT should remain as the conscience of the party.

He said they would be the one to adjudicate on matters brought before the board by any of the aspirants in case there were any grievances before or after the presidential primary slated for October 5 and 6 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

However, at the inauguration of one of the presidential aspirants, who is also a former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, in Abuja on Thursday, three members of the BoT were in attendance.

They were John Nwodo, Vincent Ogbulafor, who was both former National Chairman of the party and a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief Tom Ikimi.

Jibrin had said, “If you are a member of BoT, you remain as a member of the BoT and the conscience of the party. They should not move about with any aspirant.

“If we are really the conscience of the party, we should not move about with aspirants. That was what happened during the last national convention when we elected the national chairman.

“Some of us went and pitched camp with aspirants, taking them all over the place. This time, we will not allow that to happen.

“Anyone of us who move about with any aspirant should resign from the BoT. We are the one that will settle the complaints.

“But if we are involved, it will not be fair. So, we have told the members not to campaign with the aspirants; we are also the delegates. ”

Our correspondent gathered that the board discussed the matter at its meeting before having discussions with the aspirants in Abuja on Thursday night.

When our correspondent called Jibrin about the flouting of the board’s directive, he said he would speak on the matter on Friday (today).

“We will address it on Friday when I will be briefing you on the outcome of our meeting with the aspirants,” he said.

Meanwhile, Atiku has named Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and 58 other persons as members of his presidential nomination council ahead of the PDP presidential primaries.

Members of the council drawn from several states of the country are eminent stakeholders in the PDP and are expected to mobilise support from their respective states for the emergence of Atiku as the PDP presidential candidate.

Announcing the membership of the council, the Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation who is also a former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, said, “The work of this council – as the name connotes – is to mobilise PDP delegates from all the states of the country for Atiku to emerge as the presidential candidate of our great party.”

In his remarks, Atiku noted that the struggle for national renewal was usually a difficult one, but said it was one that patriots must engage in if they hoped to improve the lives of their compatriots.

He said, “Nigerians are yearning for jobs, for opportunities, for unity and security. We must work with them to deliver these.

“We must also restore truth in politics, justice and fairness in governance, and a genuine federal system that helps us address local priorities and run a more effective and efficient government.”
