Rivers East senatorial district have PHALGA, Okrika, Obio Akpor, etc.
Rivers East senator is senator George sekibo.
Eleme LGA, Tai, Khana,Oyigbo, etc are LGAs in River South East senatorial district.
Senator Barinada Mpigi is the one representing Rivers south East senatorial district.
Correct your post.
Okay. confirmed. Thanks

But the Rep member of Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo constituency is represented by Chisom Dike

NO ONE IDENTIFIED AS JO.
it was the name given to us by the Brits.
I am a nembeian LIKE YOU KNOW because we both know you're someone else behind that monicker but let me talk to you like you're not whom we both know you are,
we were called Oru, and we spoke an Oru dialect(s) recorded by baikie, sigismund koelle, and lots of other linguist.

Yes Amayanabo(owner of the community) became a thing for the central and Eastern rulers because our kingdoms BECAME MORE POLITICAL due to the Europeans coming and trading heavily. but prior to that, our leaders or rulers used the "PERE" title in the primitive days because it was MORE SPIRITUAL. Pere means Priest, our western Ijaw brothers still maintain that ancient title and I commend them.

secondly, the white man know nothing about we Africans, they only choose what they want to publish for their very crafty selfish reasons. We all trace our Ancestry from The central delta and every one (child to an old or deceased person) knows/knew this.
Why will they want to twist hostory? to what purpose?

So proffesional people Like BAIKE will not twist history in other places bu only in Bonny or Jo land?

what kind of politics ?. We shouldn't be supporting all those nonsense. I'm very close to the political class there. They are all something else
People like you just come online and speak like illiterates. Where in my post did I praise the governor?

If coming online to disparage a city because of a 8 year term governor his tenure is ending means "not supporting nonsense", then I am sorry to disappoint you. I am not in for that shit.

I am here to promote Aba, not to market any politician. Ikpeazu will go next year, Aba will still be there. What you write here today will still be online and people will read it. Is that not foolishness?

Can you come here and swear that Aba is the way it was years ago?

I posted a picture to back up my claim that Aba is getting better and you come here to talk trash. States like Osun and Ogun are lacking in many infrastructures including roads, but you don't see their people come here and bad mouth their state because of a politician. But fools like you will do it for sports.

I pity you, if you truly live in Aba I wonder how you will survive when investors that are supposed to come in read your trash and decide not to set up jobs for you there. By then the governor might have left office and may be living a comfortable life, but you will be jobless or may relocate to other cities.

Make una dey get sense for once.

Well, next year Enyimba Economic city will commence construction on Obehie - Azumini Road. It's part of their spine road. Let's fold our hands and watch.

Next time follow through Oyibgo - Afam -Obete - Umuagbai - Akwete - Azumini

You should believe MOST YOUR PEOPLE, INCLUDING YOUR ELDERS, THEY KNOW MORE THAN YOU, here is the fact

it is a thing of nature for you to be INFLUENCED by your neighbors. The northern Igbo city states have igala influence.
The western Ijaw people have Yoruba influence.
The northern Yoruba city states have Hausa/fulani influence.
The western Taiwanese have Chinese INFLUENCED etc etc.
Ndoki was the VERY FIRST landing spot from the migrating batch led by Opuamakuba, Kala-beni(alias Alagbarigha) and Asikunuma(the one whom the Ngwa igbos affectionately called Okpara Ndoli)

these migratory batch from a town called Okoloba in Kolokuma/Opokuma axis landed with their people at Aminadokiari and related with THE NEIGHBORING Ngwa people(SOUTHERN IGBO) AND EVEN INTERMARRIED WITH THEM, They stayed there for a long time even prince Edimini(Opuamakuba's grandson) was born there.

IF YOU CAN BE TRUTHFUL, you will know IBOS naturally aren't a riverrine people, they prefer farming to fishing, that is why they stay more inland than riverrine.
But ask yourself why the Ndoki people are very riverrinehuh
The Ndoki people are from the isedani lineage, but their language was greatly influenced and covered by the Ngwa due to the rate of intermarriage, and the Igbo typical ways of moving to anywhere or location they see people so they can trade.
How can you say Ndoki towns don't sound Ijaw to you, what about Okolo'ma? Oruama?? Okolomakiri ?? Osobie ?? Even Azumini people will tell you they aren't Igbos.

These migratory batch will later come down and settled around the Ogoni area and dwelt in the town where Kala-oko and Opu-oko currently stands.

Kala Beni being a hunter one day went on a hunt and saw the beautiful Island (Bonny) he returned to inform his brothers of a better land down south to settle, and they decided to head further south again, not everyone as usual followed after living in Aminadokiari for a very long time and being used to it.
Opuamakuba agreed to come see the place with him and they all(group) headed for the site, but Opuamakuba died on the way but Kala-beni led them and they settled in what is today grand Bonny (they named Okoloama). Kala-beni set up a shrine to dedicate to Opuamakuba which is the famous kala-Ikuba shrine you might have heard of.
The southern migration from Ndoki is the one the igbos talk of BUT THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY CAME FROM TO SETTLE AT NDOKI...LMAO.
So the town was known as kalabeni settlement and corrupted to ibani or people of ibani.

THAT IS WHY THE "AMINADOKIARI FABLE" is believed by your elders and people, and if you don't want to believe it, suit yourself.

Today the influx of ENGLISH LANGUAGE is taking over our indigenous names and we even answer English names but that doesn't make us Anglo Saxons does it??

Ndoki people today speak a dialect resembling Ngwa with very little ijaw words sandwiched between it. Many of your elders came to retrace their Ijaw ancestry but some disagreed and said it's best continue in the ways they were born and were used to, infact Ijaws don't really care anymore but if your people wants to come back, we will welcome you with Open arms but do not say the Bonny people and the Opobo people don't have any connections to the central delta because they are uncountable traditions, beliefs I would have shown you, but I don't have that time or energy. But I will show you a video where the Amayanabo (not eze) of Opobo talked about the central delta migration.
BTW, Amayanabo was a recent introduction from Brass. Neither Hugh nor, Baike recorded of any Amayanabo title when they visited

If the OO1 of Opubo-ama (Opobo) tells you about the history of his kingdom, drug peddlers from far away lands can't tell you otherwise.
On the contrary, King Pepple himself told Captain Hugh his story himself, and in that story he never identified as a jo man. According to Hugh, Jo people were running around the creek seeking for whom to devour

ASK YOUR ELDERS.
the Ndoki people known as Aminadokiari or waminadokiari migrated from kolokuma/opokuma axis; and coming up the imo river for trade. Two subsequent batches migrated from same kolokuma/Opokuma in search of their brother and they found them at the current site. Aminadokiari or waminadokiari is translated to mean(I am looking for my brother). That was how ndoki got it's name., and the name was corrupted to Ndoki by the Europeans who couldn't pronounce indigenous african settlements.
Those days the creeks were seen as dangerous or difficult to live or trade in, that was why coastal dwellers moored their trading canoe up stream and battered with the igbos who had great forest and cultivated yams, maize, rice, palm oil. at the center of commerce;Azumini.

The language is not the same with central igbo nor any other Igbo because some sort of hybrid language (a mixture of kolokuma and Igbo words was born after the Opokuma/kolokuma people settled there for sometime before coming down to found Bonny and another; kalabari(after establishing Aminadokiari.
you made mention of oyigbo, and I know oyigbo like the back of my palm, in those days it was controlled by the powerful ibani chiefs and kom-kom was the main slave market, and the imo river along the slaughter round to Azumini behind okoloma afam use to be filled with large trading canoes of the coastal dwellers, the igbos were never one to navigate war or trading canoes because they were a land people, and many of them dread water. even the imo river you see those divers bringing out sands are mostly ijaw people who work there. generally Igbo man no get mind enter the bottom of water to bring out sand.
ask yourself why the whole area use to belong to the Bonny family of Hart?
ask yourself why the igbos don't understand jack of the core ndoki Language but some ijaw clans can understand some of the words in your DIALECT?
ask yourself why the igbos can't tell the meaning of Ndoki/waminadokiarihuh
I know you might not be familiar with the term "Aminadokiari/waminadokiari" so I beckon you to ask any old person. I even have ndoki in-laws whom were married into my maternal side(Igbo land) and they also confirmed the migration facts from the central delta area, just ask then get back to me.

the Bonny founders were bilingual due to the fact that they and their ndoki brothers stayed and traded close to the Igbo people of NGWA for a long time yet the language doesn't even resemble Ngwa atall atall. Reason am. me personally grew up and lived in Igbo land most of my life and I speak Igbo you wouldn't guess I'm an ijaw person.

I will look for and show you a document sent by the Bonny king Perekule the first through Samuel Ajayi crowther to the British empire about the language spoken by Bonny.
Again ask your elders, you migrated from the central delta region.
If we were Ijaws as you have said, how come we did not name our village Ijaw names, how come our progenitors did not bear Ijaw names?

How come we don't serve Ijaw God or have Ijaw customs?

SO far, the people of Ibani and Ndoki have shared cultures and interacted as one people. Nothing we do in Ibani or even Ndoki, resonates with what the people of Delta or central Ijaw practice.

Yes most of my people believe in the Aminadokiari fables, but to me, it does not hold water.

Lol for my own Rivers State??

The Only Place Magnus will get vote in Rivers is in Rivers EAST (Tai, ELeme, Oyigbo, and other Ogoni places)

The reason he will even get vote in Oyigbo is because of the feud between Chisom Dike (Oyigbo/Eleme/Tai HOR member) and Wike that made my brother dump PDP for APC. And also because we at Oyigbo have beef with Wike cause he is yet to complete our major road.

And the man has many people in Oyigbo who follows him. Aside from that, He won't even smell 10% vote generally from Anywhere.

The governor admitted that the contractor (local) did a shoddy job and that he has awarded it to Setraco to reconstruct. It's been long though but I am sure Faulks Road is not bad at the entire stretch. Some places are bad and some places are still not bad.

Okay. Faulks Road had a breakdown, it was actually reworked. But the Government said they are not done with the road yet. And iI know it's quite shameful that they are yet to complete it after many years. But then, at least anyone in Aba knows that that road was nothing to write home about before now. IT is now for the governor to rework it and deliver it to the people.

As I mentioned, I never said all the roads in Aba is now okay, but from my post, I said MOST of these roads were unchartable and any Aba person knows that very well.

I regularly visit ABa cause my cousin sis from my mum base there. SO I am here to speak of the change, not the bad roads. All states, even Lagos have bad roads.
