pls guys wots d way 4ward? lets face it nigerian movies are wot they are, nuff said! |
I watched a cameroonian movie 2day n d sound effect was so superb. nigerian movies r wot they r but wot is d way forward |
I don't really fancy Nigerian movies but there are a few of them that actually stands out. Any film directed by Tade Ogidan is never a let down, although usually long and in parts but you wont believe the suspense u r subjected to. Tunde kelani's films too r quite superb. I believe there's light at the end of the tunnel. For instance, if wot is happening in the music industry in terms of video quality can be translated to the movie industry it will be a good thing. A movie of parts 1,2,3 that doesn't make sense is not worth my time. Don't these nollywood guys watch foreign films. I mean I watch long series both action and drama and don't seem to get bored. @ Topic, I have met Desmond elliot in Abuja, but cant really say if he's down to earth and pls u guys say u chat wit these nollywood guys on facebook, can u tell if its their agents at the other end? Its called PR |
This is assuming u r using XP OS |
Firstly r u sure ur Hibernation option is enabled? Do that by going to control panel/ power options, under hybernation tab, make sure "Enable Hibernation" is checked. To Hibernate, Click the start bar/ shut down then hold down the shift button. U shd be able to see the Hibernate button among the 3 options. |
I love this thread! I have always argued this with a friend who just came from India. He's into Windows virtualization while im into 3d. He argues that Virtualization takes more resources than 3d on any operating system. If one is looking for a rugged system that gets the job done, I give it to XP. About security wise backing up my files always has always been my practice from win 95 to the world ends. However, one feature that I cherish in Vista is the way it keeps your old files whenever it is formatted with that singular move it can save lives. @ lastpage I heard win 7 has a backward compatibility with xp and can support hardware from xp version. Also can you confirm that you virtually have the two OS bundled together? That will be the bomb! If u like graphics you shd be allowed to choose and if you want the classic look and all the functionality you should be allowed. Microsoft should also take note of its OS for each professional as the case may be! Vista with all the drivers that take much space to install is ok since there are bigger hard disk space nowadays. Also budget of PC buyers shd be considered, not everyone can afford buying and adding RAM just after a month of PC purchase. I'm yet to see naija banks deploying Vista as a domain. I may be wrong! |
Some people continue to send spam emails to potential victims about interswitch upgrade that folks should click on a link to a supposed interswicth website. Most of them are lame and they use free web domains but they use database to collect the card and pin number of their victims. I guess most people have received these mails. The fact that some of us are webmasters make us to easily detect these fraudsters but we need to do more to enlighten people that interswitch never asks people to send their card number and pin online. if they truly need an upgrade people will be asked to go and change or input the pin manually in an ATM machine. These low lifes get these pins online and they write them on a blank card and the next thing you know your account is emptied in another part of Nigeria. That is why the CBN ordered the banks to change to ATM cards to chip based cards |
The guy called okocha is truly one of the world greats. I once watched a show about Pepsi Academy where okocha was showing his skills intraining to some bolton youth team members. Here in Nigeria we should invite him to the few soccer academies so that he can do same. The soccer academy in Ilorin which he's a board member is a good starting point. If Ronaldinho can confess he went to PSG to understudy Okocha on his way to becoming a world great himself we should tap from his abundant wealth of talent also |
Saraki would have come a little close to Fashola if he runs governance by leaving out sentiments and party affiliations. I am from Kwara State lived there for up to 15yrs on and off, now I relocated to Abuja but my folks r still there. Ilorin the capital does not make the whole of Kwara State. If you visit some Local Govts. in Kwara you'll wonder if there is government in that state at all. Politics should be for the good of all not for the good of a few. Very few people know that Saraki first mission when he got in office was to tour media houses so that they always carry only the good news in his state. he did that and the media houses always do their bid after which they collect brown envelopes for PR. Fashola on the other hand is very objective and takes the time to create a vision for a new Lagos and from what the world can see He is indeed serious. Even Al-jazeera a cable network did a documentary of him. I also watch a program called Mega Vision on NTA. On One of the episodes Fashola was in The US to the a case study of How a mega city works, He was also in Egypt. As an Architect I appreciate this a lot.Mind you serious Case studies not just Site seeing or hype. Comparing the two I'll say uhhhmmm! No basis |
I can see people r now watching JERICHO, I watched season1 but yet to watch Season2. And heroes im yet to watch complete season 2, only seen about 12 episodes. There are other places in Nigeria that is not as chaotic as Lagos. The problem of Lagos results in lack of consistent planning and continuity in Government planning. For most of these expatriates, Lagos is the first port of call and so they see Nigeria through the eyes of Lagos and these scares them away from other places like Obudu in Cross River State. We should as well tell our own stories more make documentaries and someone somewhere will be watching. Check out this link I found http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=693986 . This is also part of Nigeria!!! |
Well these white guys you see them enjoying themselves in Lagos yet their press continue to diss Naija, Check this link http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=808274 Na regatta dem they do here ooo!!! And very well in Lagos!

Its time to re-assess what is and what could have been. Anyways you should know that you cannot make a lady to be submissive when she is not. From what you said, even after you confronting her she wasn't remorseful she must be really a hot head. Love is pain as the saying goes, if you don't ever want to be hurt, don't fall in love. This everyone knows is near impossible wether we like it or not we feel love for someone one day. Now you'll think, "where do I start from now?". Time heals all wounds just try and keep it together, you shall surely find the right lady soon! Cheers!!! |
@ seanT21 JERICHO is showing now on free to Air (Nile Sat) MBC Action. The DVD is out here in Naija, watching it on DVD is Da BOMB!! |
Has any body seen JERICHO its highly explosive with suspense, treachery and entertainment. Its about a small village in America in the aftermath of a nuclear attack. Survival became very crucial. The season 1 is the only 1 I have seen pls is season 2 out? |

Please there's this question I want u guys to answer for me. President Bush declared a war on Terrorism after 9/11, but the question is after attacking afghanistan and Iraq over fabrication of evidence "Is America and the world safer to live in now?" source: http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2008/feb/26/national-26-02-2008-010.htmA New York Times columnist, Thomas L. Friedman regretted that Bush sought to use the September 11 national tragedy to unite Americans around a common enemy, making all Americans look stupid. “9/11 has made us stupid. You may think Guantánamo Bay is a prison camp in Cuba for Al Qaeda terrorists. A lot of the world thinks it’s a place we send visitors who don’t give the right answers at immigration. We can’t afford to keep being this stupid! We need a president who will unite us around a common purpose, not a common enemy,” Friedman wrote. |
