FamilyRe: Find Condom In Your Husband’s Pocket: What Will You Do? by o9999: 3:14pm On Jul 17, 2009
@MRbrown,
Your point of view is VERY interesting,
A married man with condoms in his pocket, lecture indeed? y didnt he give the condoms to his audiencehuh?
So the kind of man u described who will certainly get his "toto" when the woman has decieded to stop being sexy. (Rubbish excuse for his inability to CONTROL himself, he CHOSE to be using the condoms, his wife didnt make him!) if he really wanted her to be all that, HE shld have tot her full stop!

Also know that he can also meet with the kind of woman that gets JOY in counting the NO OF MEN she has scored.

Its not that women can't be promiscus in marriage, its just that they CHOOSE not to be.

Y men got away for doing that in the earlier days were cos if the wife raises an eyebrow, he will:-
1. Stop giving her money
2. Threaten to marry another wife
3. Threaten to take her home to her parents

Nowadays, its sooooo different, when in most houses, the wives are the bread winners, or they even got married to u just so it is recorded they were once married,
Forget their replies, the day ur wife catches u with it, that day, HOT OIL/WATER will land u in the nearest hospital and before long, her+ur children will be another man's property
PoliticsRe: South Korea's Abandoned Airports: A Warning To Nigerian State Governors by o9999: 2:17pm On May 20, 2009
@ Debosky,,
have you ever been to Ontisha, calabar? more like, have u had to travel around nigeria?

then you wil know that the airport @ Warri or Benin does not serve any one at onitsha,
you might as well do the a full journey from lagos on road,

Again,
For Calabar / Akwaibom, you keep calling Port harcourt International airport, ? Y? that they are both called niger- delta does not ,mean the distance is close, even with the good roads,

Geographical location (east, west, north, niger delta, etc does not put the states or capitals within the same proximity my dear, )

Please can someon who knows Port harcourt / calabar or akwa Ibom help out here,
your arguement should be more like the airport in Benin should serve those in Akure/ Ogun state.

ITs like saying ther should be no airport in Kano since there is already one in Kaduna,
Do you know how far apar they arehuh

IF good roads and rail tracks can pass for aiports, y dont other countries just build roads and rail afterall its cheaper,

My dear, look beyond now,
if the government didnt even build the ones they did when they did (because of screams like this) am sure we wont have even 1 functional airport

Please oh!!! let the government not build airport for you,
but rather than loot my money, they should do the so called white elephant project.
PoliticsRe: South Korea's Abandoned Airports: A Warning To Nigerian State Governors by o9999: 1:54pm On May 20, 2009
In Nigeria, if we have 50, 000 under-utilized shops in the different locations  of the country and only 10 in the east will it be sufficient for the nation?
The ans is no, its a pity the 50,000 were not strategically located but whether they are being used or not, more shops need to be made in the east,

IF you have over 100 institutions for learning in every location of the country (infact 2 are even begging for students to come and take free admission) and only 2 in the west will it pass?
Again the answer is no! u need more in the west,

If government locates 1000 hay/fodder barns around the country and only 2 in the north will it suffice?
NO!

The point am making is this, that we have some not-so-utilized facilities in the country because of location does not mean we should give on providing those facilites for people that are lacking it.

If airports were moveable, i would have said the government shoud re-locate the under-utilizd ones to where they will serve their time,

the bottom line is Road or no road, train or no train, boat or ships, some locations in Nigeria DO need airport is close to them,
LET US PRAY FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE so the projected projects do not turn to white elephant projects,
But whether they are necessary in some areas that dont have them yet? , YES THEY ARE
PoliticsRe: South Korea's Abandoned Airports: A Warning To Nigerian State Governors by o9999: 1:37pm On May 20, 2009
ok, airports are not required when u have good roads and train system (according to some people).
With good roads and what have you traffic will be reduced and so will accidents, (still according to some people).

But my dear, i beg to disagree. There is no i repeat NO country in this world with ALL those good road networks and trains system and wot have you that still does not have traffic and accidents on their roads,

The bottom line is, STRATEGICALLY LOCATED airports are very infact [b]extremely
IMPORTANT.

The fact that we have some nonfunctional airstrips does not mean we should not invest in FUNCTIONAL / ECCONOMICALLY viable ones.

The initiation of anything always sounds too expensive and outrageous but what i have found out in Nigeria is that over time (and private investment / management), it always becomes affordable,

taking a cue form when GSM was to be introduced into Nigeria, a lot of outcry came that it was too expensive and why cant NITEL be revamped, but today, what is the case, ?
THANK GOD FOR GSM and PRIVATE investment into GSM!

I still remain on the stance that GOOD GOVERNANCE IS what we need to carry it on,
the airport may not seem important to u, but there are people dying for it and the story about carrying the poor along, lets face it, taxi parks will spring up, food is ready will spring up, cleaners and what have u will spring up to mention a few, in the end it leads to Job creation,

Lets not forget also that with choices on where to fly to, the air tickets become more competitive, taking cue form Warri airstrip how the cost of flying to warri reduced,
again, ACN 7K flights, how did it come up, ?

Y are some people talking so ignorantly in this JET age,
@ debosky, am sooooooo shocked at your question (how far is calabar from Portharcourt international airport). Have you been to either places? if no, then please call someone that lives in either places to give you a fair idea of how far it is, you may be shocked to know it is not shorter than 3.hrs

Infrastructures are meant to be for the benefit of the citizens as well as generating funds for the government.
I am not of the oipnion that airports shld be built in every location and what have u, BUT

WHAT IS WRONG IN HAVING AIRPORTS IN EVERY WHERE IT WILL RAISE FUNDS FOR THE GOVERNMENT AS WELL AS SERVE THE MULTITIDE LIVING THERE ?

Y dont yoU start by asking, y is the airport being built in ASaba, ?
Basically, to serve the commercial community at onitsha/ nnewi.
Anambra doesn't have the land space (or is caught up in the politics of luxurios bus owners fighting the airport)
DO NOT QUOTE ME HERE PLS!
so y cant the Delta state Government benefit from their issues?

Are we allergic to GOOD things in Nigeria?
If you call airport white elephant projects, what makes the railways not one?
The bottom line is, with good governance, it can work, but with looting and stealling as the other of the day, even a simple gutter construction will still be a white elephant project!,

@hubreality, na waaa ohhh!.

but read the comment you just said amen to! huh shocked undecided

My prayer:
God pls let the scales fall from their eyes like it happened to Saul that they may see the light.
Let your word which is true set them FREE indeed!!! Grant for those who can see the boldness to speak
and walk in the truth of your word (not as handed out by false MOGs but by your spirit).
For he has not given us the spirit to fear but that of LOVE, POWER and SOUND MIND. (not disillusioned)
Do you really know what that comment is saying?
or are you one of those that just reproduce a word or action because someone else has said it,

Are you one of those that carry a pator's word hook line and sinker without thinking it thru, ?

Does it mean i should take all your posts as drop off of pastors word and not YOUR OWN PERSONAL conviction, from understanding it?

am sorry if i sound, but really i cant help but ask,
lipsrsealed
Even in the bible, Jesus implied his disciples should look deep into words and not take the surface,

When you tell someone that the person has a lack of faith, are you not judging?

How do you measure / know someone's faith?

Do you REALLY need to go to a school to get healing?

Yes, i do believe in God, in giving, in his mighty works, the list cannot end.

But i also believe that christianity and faith is a personal thing with God.

What if i truely prayed to God, believed, hoped looked forward to, (speaking the remaing english),
that i will get a new shoe before weekend, and truely believe it, but come weekend, i do not get it, what would you say caused it?, I HAD NO FAITH?
Christianity EtcRe: A Question For Tithe Payers by o9999: 5:04pm On Mar 10, 2009
@image123, how do i give a tenth of kindness (like hugs, kisses or services rendered to me) to the pastors (since tithes are to be given to the pastors)?
Again, wot if i attend church A, can I give my tithe to church Cis it wrong? if yes, what is wrong with it?
Who did Jacob give his tithes directly to?
From what i gather, tithes were given in the days of old because the receptiants kept no land or flock to themselves
therefore needed to be taken care of. Is that still the same now?
Please when or how did the apostles practice tithing?
In the new testaments, the apostles gathered all that was brought to the church &with the poor and needy, THEY all shared. (was that tithe?)

If understand Kunle well, he has a problem with the push by alot of pastors on tithing and "almost raining curses" on those who do not, if the ways of the old are to be followed, it should be followed to the later, like sabath day,

Y are they not hammering on that and there was no where that Jesus abolished it neither did the disciplines do same so y the issue on money and not on other things,

I would like all tithers to please answer the questions i have as i really have problem with them,

Finally, if only ALL our Pastors will preach and ACT more on love and apprecciating God instead of money,

If i am a church sweeper working for God (practically free of charge), and i am wayyyyy poorer than my pastor, then he should give me tithe because i am doing God's work and have no money, or what do you think?
Christianity EtcRe: A Question For Tithe Payers by o9999: 6:38pm On Mar 06, 2009
I NEED HELPI am a bit confused about tithing and would like you lot to help me come to a good decision.
(Please let not Sir_john or Kunleoshob be the ones to respond to this one)

Please Can some one who is a true believer of tithes tell me from the Bible WHAT IS TITHE? (is it money or not?)
Please let nobody reply to this articular post without saying CLEARLY what tithe is because for you to believe in something, you have to know what it is you believe.

Again, i get the impression that MOST people are tithing BECAUSE they expect GOD to BLESS / PUNISH them.
If you knew for sure God will not punish you for not tithing, will you still tithe?

Finally, who will be more pleasing in God's sight
1:- some one who gives complete 10% tithe of everything without alms giving (or even grudgingly) or
2:- some one who gives alms (helps complete strangers) expecting nothing in return WITHOUT giving tithes AT ALL

PLEASE ANY BODY REPLYING SHOULD NOT QUOTE A PASTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!
but give your own CLEAR and BIBLICAL understanding,
Go through your bible well to be sure of what you will say so you dont lead me astray

@blacksta 1 corin 16:2 is NOT talking about tithes please read from verse 1.
BIG thanks to tkb417, gabe, and sleekdoc,
you were all clear and precise.
CultureRe: Ibo Traditional Wedding by o9999: 1:26pm On Jan 05, 2009
the list u describe is only given to those that parade themselves to the villagers as though they own all the bridges in lagos
, (the list sef suit them, make them spread the riches around jaree, (how u lay ur bed, u shall lie on it))

NOBODY and i repeat NOBODY can Ostracize another for not performing one rite or the other. the only thing they can do is prevent u from taking step 2 if step 1 is not yet done, even if na dumboro them de tell, (not to talk of telling it to those village people wey get mouth pass anything, wey fit tell u ur grand papa history) NA LIE JOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Again, u are counting court and church wedding,
AS far as IGBO tradition is concerned, after paying the bride price, you are MARRIED,

the court and church, na person wey send u message u go go collect money from. there does not have to be a reception after the court marriage,, secondly, if u are crying of money, why not do marriage blessing and go and sleep.

meanwhile, i have still not heard u pass a comment on what your in-laws will give to u as part of "idu uno" can u place a monetary value to it so we can subtract and know how much u are really spending, (ha!) grin

my question still remains
", are there no igbo girls from nnewi south married to teachers, okada riders, traders, drivershuh??"
if yes, then please go meet then and ask then how they did it cos obviously, its not same list u are using that they are,

in simple terms, igbo marriages na how u present urself, u think say to call u american bobo na for free (oti mkpu de chop o!). it can be as cheap as 100, 000 or as expensive as 100, 000, 000 ALL NA YA POCKET!

if u serious say u wan marry, make ur papa go collect list on ur behalf,
imbesile no de marryhuh
CultureRe: Ibo Traditional Wedding by o9999: 8:09am On Jan 02, 2009
@idiopathic
and if u enclose 1000 in the envelopes, it will be 80 000 when added to 330 000 becomes just about 410 000 how much is seaman's?,

If really ur aim in the tread is to fuel ur thoughts that yea igbo marriages are off the hook in price then here let me help you, THEY ARE!!!! if ur not up to 12 ft tall while standing on ur wallet, please STAY HOME (full stop)

But if your aim is to find out the truth, then be realistic, start by telling us the truth, what side (LGA) in the igbo community demanded that? am sure there is some one is this forum who will be from that area and can help out.

the diff, is while some community claim not to demand soo much, the deco and the mat provided for the wedding alone will cost up to 500 000, so why not use that same 500 000 and better the lot of some one,

Dont forget, that ur so called 5 000 per envelope may find some one for a week, those it wont feed, wont even take it from u, if they do, they give u back 10 000 as ur wedding gift,

Yea thats true, long one but,
i havent heard you say the igbos perform "idu uno" where they help u equip ur house, anyone know about ithuh?

pass ur comment pls
CultureRe: Ibo Traditional Wedding by o9999: 9:00am On Dec 31, 2008
@NaJa HaJe, please wat tribe are u?
what is required in ur tribe? that required in the igbo trad does not differ much from yours, (am sure)

but the procedures,
u go see the intended inlaws and make ur wish known,
u come back another day to confirm if they have found out about u,
if yes, then put something (kind of a deposit to show u are serious),
come back for the traditional rites which includes, dowry, seeing her uncles, aunts, age grade and mother(s), father(s),

yea, that simple, but remember, u never go to ur in-laws place empty handed,
hei, think agian, it doesnt have to be money,

now what more do u wnat to know?

Bright ideas any one? huh

ah ah!!!
y are you people being sooo baised,
the truth, there is NO tribe in Nigeria where a man "dashes" his daughter in the name of marriage , obviously something has to exchange hands, wink kiss
the extends depends on the girls parents and the guy that wants to marry.
Some guys ar also so caught up that they want their wedding to "happen!!"

Please let me ask, Don't teachers get married to Igbo girls?
