Politics › Re: Why the Yoruba Nation is not seeking for secession by OAFMods: 1:40am On Dec 07, 2015
chuna1985:
The 1966 coup did not cause the Nigerian civil war. Initial hatred n jealousy the northerners had for igbos n the Yoruba pipo also was a major factor.

Neogwu dem tried a blood letting revolution n it failed n they were arrested n jailed.

Many months later a coup came n claimed the life of Aguiyi but it didn't stop there, 185 igbo officers in the military were singled out n killed. It didn't end at that, northerners slaughtered igbos n SS on a daily basis for 10 months.......It now led to the war. Ojukwu tried so many times to avert that war to no avail
Why fly no go support sshit ? Ojukwu tried so hard to prevent the war like Kanu is doing now when shit hit the fence you igbos will blame everyone else but yourself.

It is only savage and miscreants that threatens war and dispossession of other men's property when the issue of secession is mentioned.

The worst is that these anti-Biafra are the most haters of the Igbos and their progresses claiming to know what's best for the Biafrans.

I can understand when a loved one wants to say goodbye but the logic of living with "a supposed hated parasite" is beyond logic.
You do not eat you cake n have it. You can not achieve Biafra n still be grandstanding in Nigeria.

The Jews tried it the result is holocaust

You can not have your own country n tell another country who should own n not own properties within another sovereign nation.

That is the reason Russia as no say over the old soviet territories after the break up of the USSR. Same reason the UK as no say in what happen in Ireland. You simply would not have any right to complain about whatever treatment good or bad meted out to you. There is no sweet break up n it won't start with Nigeria.

Politics › Arms Billions: Dasuki Reveals How David Mark Got N10.7billion by OAFMods(op): 7:38am On Dec 05, 2015
The embattled former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki had asked for an open trial, promising to spill the beans and bring the house down with him. He is doing just that.

In a latest development, Sambi Dasuki has indicted former Senate President David Mark in the over $2.3billion arms purchase scandal rocking top functionaries and leaders of the People’s Democratic Party in the last few days according to reports obtained from the EFCC by our correspondent.

According to detailed revelations made by the Director of Finance in the ONSA, Senator David Mark had through a proxy and a company operated by his younger brother, Igoche Mark received cash totaling about N10.7billion from the embezzled sum to fund his last senatorial campaign in Benue State.

From the reports, he received at two installments the sum of N7.2 billion in one batch and another N5.5 billion as contracts sum for non-existing bids and received full payments shortly before the last general elections.

Checks by the Special Fraud Unit has confirmed that Senator David Mark who has been building a war chest while acting as Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria received various payments for non-existing contracts from agencies and parastatals of government including the now rested immigration recruitment scandal where his protege, Comrade Abba Moro defrauded the country to the tune of N800, 000, 000:00 using a company belonging to Mrs Mark.

It will be recalled that recently Col. Sambo Dasuki had revealed that some chieftains of the PDP including Alhaji Atahiru Bafarawa and Raymond Dokpesi participated in the diversion of huge sums of money to consulting spiritualists and political campaigns respectively.

This has generated so much tension in the country as many well meaning Nigerians are calling for a total probe; a process that may lead all indicted persons including the former Senate President to jails as the days to come may unveil.

OP are you are wailer or you just chose to be delusional. When you paid were you allocated an apartment before you decided to pack out of your present home ?

In as much as I believe the APC is not doing enough in terms of providing accomdatiom for Lagosian that is not a valid reason to be silly.

Nigeria is not a normal society so you need plan for those exigencies. You are only allocated homes whenever it becomes available n that might not happen till election period if you are as unlucky as you been so far.

Politics › Oshiomhole Fires Back At Okonjo-Iweala "You Should Be Ashamed..." by OAFMods(op): 3:04am On Dec 04, 2015
The public spat between Governor Adams Oshiomhole and former finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala continues, with Oshiomhole accusing her of parrying issues and going again for the ex-ministers jugular.

While Oshiomhole said he is awaiting the libel letter from the former minister’s lawyers, he asked her explain to Nigerians how so much sleaze went unnoticed under her watch rather than parrying the issues.

Oshiomhole Special Adviser on Media, Prince Kassim Afegbua said rather than respond to issues, Okonjo-Iweala was making self-indicting statements on how she denied Edo people the funds needed to develop critical infrastructure.

“She should be ashamed to even state that she denied Edo people infrastructure loan, when she could not redeem what was due to the state. Would there have been need for loan request if she was truly in firm control of the economy under her watch?

“Is it not ridiculous that the former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy pretends to be ignorant of the sleaze and primitive looting of the nation’s treasury under her watch? Does it not prick the conscience of Okonjo-Iweala that so much financial improprieties were perpetrated right before her nose and yet wants to be celebrated as a super Minister? Does she want to absolve herself of the abysmal performance of the economy under her watch during the Jonathan years?

“From the revelations so far and the manner in which our resources were plundered in the last administration, it is crystal clear that Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was grossly incompetent to manage the nation’s economy especially on account of the huge sums of money running into billions of dollars that were stolen under her watch. Such incompetence will be further complicated if it is assumed that she looked away while some people helped themselves to the nation’s treasury. Either way, she is complicit.

“We have no doubt in our mind that, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, from all indications, has shown a remarkable attributes of a voodoo economist and one who rather than answer very simple questions by way of clarifications, easily condescend to base sentiments to divert attention. She has numerous questions to answer with respect to the management of our collective patrimony. What manner of a Finance Minister will allow huge sums of money to be withdrawn from the Central Bank of Nigeria with whimsical stroke, dealing with individuals in a way that eliminate the usual control that should be the hallmark of such body? How can a World Bank former Managing Director allow such conduct right under her watch without raising concerns?

“Those organizations which have been trying to dash her awards must as a matter procedure carry out due diligence to properly score her, else, one would have cause to suspect that such awards may have been procured. Anyone giving her award will be doing Nigeria and Nigerians a great disservice in the face of on-going investigations and revelations that have exposed the rotten underbelly of the Okonjo-Iweala years. In the meantime, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole awaits the letter from Okonjo-Iweala’s lawyers, but she should be reminded that public officers are accountable to the people and should be ready to answer questions on their role while in office or out of it.”

Judging from history of conflict in the north, i never knew their governors could hold a secret meeting just to avert the killing of pple in their region as they just did.

May be they developed patriotism overnight to protect their son's government and Nigeria, knowing that any of such killings now will only advance the cause of Biafrans.

Does it also mean that killing frenzy we've been experiencing previously are merely left to occur for a reason?

I am sorry to say, PMB is not fit to lead this con3. No wonder he was initially overthrown!

Lacks constructivism!
Be loosed from the chains of hatred!
Your life is entangled in hatred. What is good for Jonathan "the unconstitutional sacking of Sanusi" is also good for Buhari "the unconstitutional sacking of Emefiele".

I know Buhari will not sack him because he is not from the 5 Igbitic states so he should not be as sentimental as the average Igbo.

2. The agony the Delta Igbo felt is completely different from what Biafrans felt during the war so Buhari is a billion time secure working with a Deltan disregarding the Igbo in their classification than working with an igbotic Biafran
