binger: Everyone is in Peckham...you're the sixth in a row now. Is there some sort of refugee camp u guys live in over there?hahaha *falls from Aladdin's carpet and passes out* |
abiL: I can curse you if that's the only thing that will make you STFU about politics!hehehe... You do not have to. I don tire sef. *walks a few metres away, whispers* po...li...tics ![]() |
Beync: as a trusted steward,I am privileged, I have been trusted with authorities over his households including you.hahaha... How do I answer this? Am I not a trusted steward too? ![]() |
@Modella, I see why I did not enjoy the first Obama vs Romney debate. Too much economics/finance ![]() |
What Nigeria fails to comprehend is that it's not necessarily about a "better than PDP" party. Any party can be better than years of hardened corrupted PDP. Apart from Jesus you all desperately need, you all need a stronger, louder and competent party that can break PDP's monopoly.
you think PDP's monopoly is all there is to Nigeria's problem? I just hope APC wins and with breath in our lungs we get to have this talk again years after. |
binger: Entangled my arsè. You've not seen hatred. You've not met rebuff. Peace is in the mouth, but far from the heart.True that. Our parents even raise us in the way of tribalism to an extent ![]() |
binger: I used the word 'can' and not 'will'...there is a difference between the two.I disagree. A break up would ruin Nigeria. I doubt we can recover like North/South Korea. We are closer Sudan... You know the war/bloodshed that usually preceeds a split. War is not fun. |
CFCfan: Absolutely, the 2015 Presidential debate(s) (if there will be any), would be explosive. It will make the Obama/Romney debates look like side shows.I pray o Jonathan vs one northerner (not ribadu). Abeg eeeee! |
As long as balance dey, no shaking. There will be thieves in every party, expect that. No Nigerian party is pure, but we need balance and checking.
ok o. I still see APC as a self-acclaimed giant that might have little success at first but collapse under it's own weight afterwards. I do not believe they would be any better than PDP. On the brighter side, the birth of APC might guarantee meaningful election debates ![]() |
Party just merged like 2weeks ago. So.... what are you expecting to see just yet? You're knocking down a party that has barely began to crawl, whike looking up at a 50+ years of a failed adult (PDP).
It's a romance sparked out of desperation. It's Animal Farm playing all over. I think it's just part of a bigger plan of returning power to the north. Watch out, no matter how much you guys sing Fashola's or any other southerner's praises, he would only be good for Vice President. I still cannot fathom how some of the disgruntled members of the PDP 'thieves' can join the APC and immediately become saintly. |
abiL: Itsmodella, CFC, Oahray, Binger && ShollypopzYou want to join APC too? ![]() |
CFCfan: Exactly.. What Nigeria needs is 2 or 3 strong national parties that will effectively checkmate/put the ruling party on its toes; just like in Britain (Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat Parties) and the US (Republican and Democratic Party).that would have been nice if Nigerian politics were the same as UK or US. Watch tribalism-inspired power rotation disintegrate their APC in some years. Nigeria's problem is beyond just political parties. |
Truckpusher: Oahray,Itsmodella,Binger,Abil, shollypoz ,CFCfan and everyone gudnytgoodnight sire |
ItsModella: c'mon, politics ![]() |
Stop this misinformation. Boko haram was here before 2011, they even date back to OBJ's time.
sorry it came out that way. They were officially established two years before, in 2009, but not nearly as active until after 2011 election results. |
ItsModella: Exactly. Which is why I found it quite dumb and imperceptive of Jonathan to attribute their craze to religious reasons during his interview with Christiane Amanpour. I was like, is this dumbness or what? BH started when he assumed the Presidential seat and when you look closely at their pattern of bombing, it's really scattered. One would expect that if it is indeed a religious war, they would have been bombing churches seeing as they're an Islamic group. But no, it's like they blast everything in sight, from churches to mosques to schools.Yeah, yeah... The religious facade is a divertion and a bait for ignorant religious bigots in the north. That's why I do not argue when people say Nigeria would split in 2015. GEJ knows what's up, but he's just too much of a robotic puppet. And one without batteries too. |
Truckpusher: For where Nigerians are very angry now ...omo if you see the rate at which criminality is increasing in this country you go fear fear....you can't just be driving anyhow anytime and anywhere with a flashy car, you're a target especially in the south south and south east...suffering and smiling is no longer working ohha! I dey south south and it's quite peaceful, at least where I live. I still drive at night at times. Dunno about your side sha. Thankfully, I'v experienced a car-jack only once, and that was almost ten years ago on our way from a family outing. The thing still fresh for my mind sha. Scary night. We walked home dazed. |
ItsModella: Been away from Nigeria? I was there this past ChristmasYou know what I meant jor. |
CFCfan: Dude, Nigeria isn't breaking up. Quote me anywhere.Or if they use pastors to campaign ![]() Not just any northerner will sell though. Look at it this way: The northerners believe it's their right to rule Nigeria next. Infact they agitated that the late Yar Adua's tenure was incomplete, and a northerner should have completed it. They expected it to return to the north in 2011. Boko haram started after it didn't. People are tired of GEJ cos of boko haram and other issues, which to me, is an ace up the sleeve of opposition. The Igbos want a taste of power. Now tell me, what if power does not shift to the north come 2015? |
Truckpusher: Why you dey finish me like this na?....just because i'm truckpusher no mean say i no go see garri soak...oya come make we dance Tonto dike's 'Hi' & 'Itz Ova' song...Nigerians are happy people jare. "Shuffering and shmiling" ![]() |
ItsModella: Iyana Ipajahmmm... Nice. Modella, how long have you been away? |
binger: APC is dead on arrival...Nigeria is gonna break uplong overdue jare. |
Truckpusher: you're laffing abi?....shebi you saw how i was contributing and the purportedly happy people are getting angrydon't take it serious jor. It's just chit chat. |
abiL: Eyana pajahahaha... *dies* ![]() hope lagosians do not see this. |
binger: Don't be silly bro. You should know when i'm being serious and when it's all play. You mean, you were joking about having connection abi? ![]() |
abiL: Olumo rockhehehe... She knows a famous spot in Naija. Halleluyah somebody! ![]() |
Truckpusher: i never said you're stupid ,we're all just having a general discussion...why are you being too hard on me? ![]() |
binger: When it comes to Networking and connection, you don't need to tell me anything. Cos where i live, that is the only means of survival.Which jungle be that? ![]() |
Truckpusher: leave this people oh...i dey laff them ....first degree holders dey here they collect almost 12,0000 pounds everything month allowances excluded and somebody is talking abt how angry peeps are in NL forum...if i may ask does how much you make bring happiness?hehehe... Bros no vex for them. ![]() |
xynerise: Dude, its a contract stuff. Just have friends in high places and you are good to go.help me tell am o. |
CFCfan: I tell you. The resilience of our people is amazing.abeg eee! Some peeps in Naija pay more than that. Take DSTV for instance, since it's the most popular. Their premium monthly subscription is N9,500. With a dollar-naira rate of N157.33/$, that's $60.38. In a year, it's $724.56 max. |
binger: You mean you earn that much from selling corrugated zinc?why you no talk aluminium roofing sheets? Money dey aluminium sheets o. |
