"A fool and his money are soon parted." ![]() |
Akinlekanwr:lol. I meant public nudity in a traditional African setting anyway. |
FreshBoss007:maybe so. Maybe it's because they don't know better. Let's inspire them anyway ![]() |
Akinlekanwr:yes, I'm seriously asking the first question. What constitutes indecent dressing? Don't assume I know. I learn everyday. Before you can argue it's effect, it's only reasonable to establish it's boundaries. |

The average Nigerian girl has to realize that's there's so much she can become, besides Miss this-and-that. @ LordSurh you wanted to ruin a nice thread. |
Nigerians sha. We sabi weep more than the bereaved. Your choice of leaders, past and present, put the nation in this current mess. Yet some presume to know the best choice for Americans - who should win and who can't win. Better mind your recession quietly. |
Ishilove:God bless google search ![]() |
Akinlekanwr:what constitutes indecent dressing and who defined that standard? Pics? You want to feed your eyes abi? If you need pics of traditional African nudity which is even celebrated in festivals, they are all over the Internet. Do a simple Google search. You're welcome. |
LePrezident:lol. Chai! So you read my post and couldn't detect that it was in agreement with what you said to the other guy? How could you miss sarcasm that's so glaring? I simply described how the average Nigerian likes to take it upon himself to decide what is proper for everyone, based on his own limited knowledge and experiences. Bros na wa for you o. |
tunmidob:so is light skin. |
Lol. Last year, he had 2 months to live. Then he died like 3 times afterward, and now he has one more month to live. Make una leave Lil Wayne jare. |
Yes, you truly are sounding like an educated illiterate. No offense. How many corpers have you heard of that got eaten in Cross-Rivers? If your friends and family are Nigerians, you should know Nigerians by now. Only your own state and tribe is ever good. Other people are witches and cannibals. Just be security conscious (even in your own state) and mind the roads. Nobody is going to eat you, unless you are talking sexuality. I guess you aren't scared of that. |
LePrezident:the Nigerian is a self-appointed authority unto himself/herself and others. Everyone is the Constitution even in matters that are none of their business. Imagine someone whose forefathers tied wrappers nearly 24/7 coming to say clothes are meant to cover and not wrap the body. As if clothes can wrap the body without covering it. |
samuelchimmy:not even close. That's not what 'sexist' means. It's the gender equivalent of racism/bigotry. |
eezeribe:nah... Not nature. Else every woman would be that way. Some are different. It's upbringing and individual response to that upbringing. |
This miss heaven and earth has to end. Why are girls usually not ambitious sef? You don't want to be a pilot, a rocket scientist, a hacker, a neurosurgeon, the president... or the like, because you are too lazy to strive. You are content with being just another fine face in an inconsequential contest and someone's wife. Smh. |
Lol @ "cheerful sexist." What does that even mean? |
The gorilla. |
Your question assumes that love is white or else black, that love is either whole or nonexistent, ditto for hate. It's not so. There are different levels for both of them, that's why we can have a scale of preference for loved ones. We love some more than others. So whether love can be stronger than hate or vice-versa depends on the relative levels. One would probably hate his number one most hated activity more than loves the activity that ranks 50th on his list of favourite activities. The same applies when it's people. Whether one would love his best friend more than he hates his worst enemy, or hate his worst enemy more than he loves his best friend, depends on individual - his experiences and how they have shaped him. |
Sadly you aren't completely wrong. Many ladies act like their sole purpose in life is to marry some guy. They fantasize about it endlessly and act stupid as often as they can in relationships. It irritates me to no end. I like ladies who know their worth, regardless of what people say or do not say. You aren't completely right either. The problem is artificial. When a woman decides to be on her own, the amebo society would not let her be. This is what makes the majority of older spinsters desperate, irritable or even depressed, and not exactly the fact that they don't have a man. |
Hmmm... At times I wonder if you ladies always subconsciously feel so sad about being female that you have to comfort yourselves with feel-good writeups like this. Only number one makes any sense, but it doesn't matter. Cheer up, seriously. Being female isn't a disability. Your true worth lies in the impact you have in the world around you, not in your ability to look sexy sipping cocktail or the other nonsense there. |
MrsPhyno:hmmm... So an African is neither a normal human being nor a Christian? |
It's nice! Very engaging whack-a-mole concept. I became a captain and scored 1933 on second try. Mehn, my hands dey pain me. This isn't unity. What did you use? Ah! So there was a female programmer? Hmmm... Em... The lives you can buy in the store... What's the use? It doesn't seem to reflect in the game. Same 3 lives max, no matter how many you buy. |
bamisepeters:yeah yeah... When you know you have no real point whatsoever, attack the persons with the better logic. |
A) sells/sells |
Yes. If it's non-consent, it's rape. People ignorantly assume every man always wants to sleep with every lady out there, and many female gender warriors wouldn't want to share their birthright victim status with men. It doesn't matter that the law doesn't recognize it as rape. We've never had intelligent legislation in Nigeria. |
Don't even try to contrast 'natural love' (whatever that means) and 'conditional love'. Every form of love in the universe is conditional, whether it is selfish or selfless, real or imagined, loyal or fickle, natural or artificial, divine or human. There's always a reason, a condition either for it's birth or sustenance or both. In reality, there's no such thing as unconditional love. |
ferdvict2:What's funny? |
ferdvict2:Nigeria ![]() |
Yes! I know a certain girl exactly like that ![]() |
Lol. See the nonsense explanation sef. Venus will shine 10 times brighter than Jupiter. Planets dey shine? ![]() They keep spreading this hoax every year. Una no dey tire? NASA never said so, and the whole earth cannot possibly experience darkness at the same minute, much less for days straight. Unless: 1) The sun suddenly goes missing. If that happens, everyone on earth would die within in minutes (from the cold and many other things), so we'd never get to experience the darkness for days. All the orbiting planets including earth would be hurled outside their orbit to crash against other celestial bodies minding their own business. If the earth crashes against another body even as small as the moon, the explosion would be worse than thousands of atomic bombs going off at once, but everyone would be too dead to notice. 2) The atmosphere gets filled with dense gases in layers thick enough to completely block out the sun. If that happens, chances are that the gases would wipe out all life on earth before we even figure out what it is. So forget it. If ever it can happen, no one would get to talk about it, because earth go turn deadzone. No more Nairaland or Facebook or Instagram or Twitter or Champions League or FC Barcelona ![]() |

And let's say it's "wrapping" it as you say, what or who made you an authority on how clothes are to be worn??
