In defense of why a lady would alter her appearance and men get blamed for it, you insisted ladies are groomed for husband house to please the husband(man). You implied that it is normal for a lady to try to please men (men, not a man).

There was no use reminding you that existing to please men is not the same as pleasing one's husband. You tried to make them equivalent and I followed your lead.

If as you claim, ladies are groomed for husband's house and so must actively seek to please men, is it wrong to tell you to work harder to please me? I'm amused each time I see ladies complain about not having opportunities open to men. Is there any public Nigerian office from which women are constitutionally forbidden to aspire to? Haven't women been elected into the National house of assembly? Haven't women been appointed ministers? Has there not been a female speaker of the house of reps? Aren't there female speakers of some Nigerian state Houses of Assembly? So why make it seem like many women have contested for presidency and have failed simply because they are women.

Political power isn't like a business card that you'd be offered whether you ask for it or not. In fact no one would offer you power. You have to take it! You want people to say "oh, you are a woman, and for that reason come and be president." Even the men who have ruled Nigeria did not get there by evoking sympathy and pity. Look at the women who are world leaders... How many became leaders of their nations by playing the victim?

How many ladies can brave the rough political terrain? Buhari contested 4 consecutive times before he finally won the last one. How many ladies can keep trying when they fail, instead of blaming patriachy?

I know what incognito mode is, and there's nothing new about it. Apps like telegram have long had it (Telegram calls it secret chat). They haven't replaced whatsapp simply because they have the feature.

Someone developed Duta to be used with whatsapp, but people rarely use it. Know why? Simplicity is what makes whatsapp what it is. Many people do not care about added features, they want to be able to send and receive messages in real time at little or no cost.

One cannot easily locate his list of contacts on Allo, unless you want to select someone to start a chat with. To think someone said something about an excellent UI... UX is just as important.

Forget Allo... It looks Beta, and it has a long way to go before it can become a contender. If it were all about bots and incognito mode, everyone would be using telegram.

I just checked it out and I've uninstalled. If telegram couldn't overthrow whatsapp, it's unlikely this allo can. The only thing worthy of any note is the assistant. However it only excels as a search bot, which is rather useless since you can perform a search yourself in your browser. Fails woefully as a chatbot; poor word recognition. There are waaaay better bots on telegram.

It might be ready to compete in future versions. Not yet. Not now.

Comments on this thread ehn... When I say the vast majority of church-goers aren't christians, people go dey look me somehow. How can you willfully practice the opposite of what Jesus taught and stood for, selfishly justify your actions, and still claim to be LIKE CHRIST?

If you are your enemy's enemy, and you both are churchgoers, there's the likelihood God would answer your enemy's prayer first, so prepare to drop dead at any minute while expecting your enemies to drop dead. Don't expect God to be your personal assassin though. He doesn't even listen to such prayers.
