Caracta: Yes. Seriously. Maybe you should just define or outline ALL wifey materials you know. Because i have married people around me...i can't place it.If you are thinking sex, forget it. I'm sure many peeps do not see it as a marriage thing in the first place. |
ifihearam: you be really woman wrapper shaIf that translates to being a good husband, ok. At least I no be footmat like you were cos of e-val ![]() |

Maya2pretty: Whether d guy is just a jerk or d lady is a bimbo, women should never enslave themselves to any man for any reason and with any means, no matter wat u do, if its not meant to b den it won't bTrue... Neither should men worship any woman for any reason, cos they would still end up being ex anyway. For example... ![]() |
ifihearam: woman wrapperSay whatever you like. The world does not revolve round any human, male or female. |
nitlad: Guy stop chatting bollocks jorThat's true, they got knocked out by monaco in the semis. |
ifihearam: when does it become a duty ni?when it becomes the man's duty to provide for her needs. |
Maya2pretty: True, my on take on slavery in dis context is wen d guy abuses u and ur good intentions and treats u like his 1500 naira house girl den most idiots would force sex on u as change to d 1500 value they attached to u, we all need to b wise in anythin we doEverything has a price, even love. It might not be monetary. If the scenario you just painted happens, it's only because the lady placed a N1500 price tag on herself, and it has nothing to do with helping her bf out with stuff. More often than not, abuse is birthed from her overdependence (financial or emotional) on the guy. It's easier to disrespect someone depending on you than someone you depend on. I'm sure you know that. |
ifihearam: ogoro face wetinIfihearam, where that ya e-babe? ![]() |
Idowuogbo: U dey mind d akpu head?You get soup dia? ![]() |
ifihearam: So performing your duties has transformed into slavery for 2013 babes??It's not a duty sha. |
CFCfan: Arsenal's trophyless run continues..and with the last sentence, your point is? ![]() |
Maya2pretty: My ex couldn't evenI like the bold part. Nice point. But this is an example of what I am saying... It's a thing of pride for you that he 'worshipped' you. Probably showering you with stuff. I'm sure no girl in this situation would object. But something as petty as cooking could make the girl a 'slave'. Why? Cos most girls are only after what they can get, not what they can give. If doing something for her so-called bf makes a girl feel like a slave, it really says alot about the kind of person she is. |
It's not my intention to say if it's right or not. I only know that if you love someone, you'd look for ways to make the person happy. Give and take. But seriously, girls, why una like double standards like this? I remember one thread in which the op called her bf (not husband) of four years stingy for not replacing her stolen phones on two occasions, and instead going ahead to buy phones for himself. Most girls on the thread immediately started the "stingy bfs make stingy husbands" song. Only a few agreed that providing is the duty of a husband, not a bf. Now it's the turn of the ladies, the roles of bfs/gfs suddenly gets revised. It's suddenly not right this time cos he has not put a ring on her finger yet. Like seriously? As for the topic, it never mentioned how often. It only asks if it is If you say NO on the basis of 'no ring yet', you have no right to expect things only a husband is obliged to give either. |
Idowuogbo: Ur kiniYou wanna do wifely things? ![]() |
Idowuogbo: Pass d odekuSure. As soon as I know what it is ![]() |

ItsModella: No, I don't subscribe to cohabiting. But it doesn't take cohabiting to do wifey things for your boyfriend everyday.how? Going to his house everyday from your own? ![]() |

"I...I do not understand." "This should help you." The dimunitive man said offering him a scroll. "The Scroll of Light, the fountain of knowledge. He who seeks knowledge does not ignore the light." With unsure hands, Ray accepted it. He did not need to open it. Brilliant beams burst forth from it and engulfed Ray, and together, they rose from the ground. "It recognizes you!" Tiragus exclaimed, with a toothy grin taking over most of his lower face. As Ray floated in mid-air, he stretched, bending backwards as light radiated from him also. He felt different, powerful, and he understood everything now. Everything he had wanted to know. With eyes blazing, he saw everything. Huu-Mann had caused it, he had upset the balance, shut out the Light Eternal and the Nothing had been unleashed. Only one person could change it, one who was an offspring of Huu-Mann. He knew what he needed to do. He knew what obstacles lay ahead of him. The rebel Watchers who had spurned the Moon Lord by going unsent to Terra aeons ago were still there. They had lived among men, and had been worshipped as gods. Ray knew it now, he knew they would be watching. They knew he would be coming, and they knew where the stones and bones were. The light from the Scroll faded, but Ray hovered in the air for a moment before descending on his own. He looked around, he could see now. They were surrounded by walls that seemed liquid. It was as if he had always known this place, as if he had always been here in the Stronghold of Blazes. "The rebel Watchers, they know, and you... you are a immortal wizard." Ray blurted before realizing he had meant to ask a question. "No, I am but a moonman cursed with immortality until the portal is re-opened and Light Eternal blazes again. You must meet the Moon Lord and..." Tiragus fell silent. "And what?" "They are here!" With that, Tiragus floated into the air and sped past the stronghold's entrance like a bullet. Ray followed swiftly. Floating at will seemed to come naturally to him, as if he had always known how to. Outside, it was the same way it had always been. The sun was visible and so were the stars. But something else was beginning to cover up the sun, something dark. "What is that" Ray wondered aloud. "Aclythes..." Tiragus lectured him, "Beings of pure anti-matter, spawn from the Nothing as it spreads. They roam the universe, absorbing matter or getting absorbed. They come to the moon because this is where the portal of light is. Pure energy... It attracts them, and we do not have an atmosphere like Terra." he paused. "You have not mastered your aura, you are in danger out in the open." "But..." Ray started to protest. "Get back in!" Tiragus bellowed. As Ray retreated slowly, he could see that other moonmen had come out now. Gezar was with them, Ray recognised him. The Aclythes descended like a swarm of locusts. |

ItsModella:lol... Ndigbo doe, na you sabi. Fried rice is like blackberry. More hype than substance. People rate it so highly cos: (1) They do not get to eat it often. (2) Of the time (mostly spent chopping/grating) and expenses needed to make it come out nice. (3) Of the chicken which almost always follows it, and which alot of peeps see as luxury. I'm not a fan of carrots, and I see chicken as just any other meat. Gimme eba/pounded yam and one better soup there endowed with with plenty meat and I'd stone you with your fried rice. ![]() |
