Two conditions are given:
Sleep time- 4am today.
Wake up time- 2am today.

Nothing suggests you have to wake up from the 4am sleep at 2am. Only thing binding is, you must sleep at 4am, and you must wake up at 2am.

Let's say you sleep at any time b4 2am and wake up at 2am. Then you remain awake b4 sleeping again at 4am. That way you have satisfied both conditions i.e "woken up at 2am, and slept 4am". Rephrase the above and it's same as saying "slept at 4am and woken up at 2am".
