If you say somebody lied, you are either correct, or you are not. There is not midpoint.

Alright, in the casestudy I posted, 'every guy' says: "I can control myself". If it's true, every guy CAN control himself (which is wrong). If a lie, every guy CANNOT control himself (also wrong). Every guy cannot be right, but every guy cannot be wrong either .

So when a person says 'every guy' lied, it cannot be bent to mean 'some guys', nah.

As for the girls' part, 'guys' is too much of a generalization to make. They are wrong if the 'guys' refer to every guy, but then, using 'guys' in that statement is wrong if it does not refer to 'every guy'.

Conclusion: Its easy to jump in to give subjective direct answers to questions which require something different.

lol. Being a guy, I would have preferred reading 'the girls are wrong'. But the nature of the question is such that making a choice of either is not exactly correct.

Caracta started with "no one is correct and no one is saying the truth". You ignored that and chose to dwell on the 'responsiblilities' part. Why?

The question was, who was lying (amongst 'every guy' and 'girls', from the statement made by each class) abi? It requires a direct answer. Modella and vicky said the guys... Translation, 'every guy'. Ok.

Now a certain Binger went ahead to say Modella and vicky were correct to an extent. Tell me, to what extent can one be correct when she says 'every guy' is lying?

To make matters worse, you claimed to be among the 'few' guys who are correct when they claim to have self control, yet you agreed (to an extent) with peeps who said 'every guy' (including you) is wrong when they make such claim. Confused much?

When you say they are correct to an extent for saying every guy is lying, and then say you are among the guys (every guy is lying, remember) that have self control... Well, you are not taking sides, you are confused.
