Yeah you are right. All I want you to know that its not everyone
posting here that are into scam. There are lots of genuine people
here. I just hate it to see me been a point of ridicule, it pains me alot
and like someone do tell me "Whatever That Happens To You Is Your Fault"
So i guess its all my fault

SHALOM
We have an understanding of not promoting all these crazy visa deals here. We welcome advices, suggestions on the way to go about getting a visa, not someone asking for some crazy money in other to help.

You are not into scam, then why exactly are you asking for those outrageous amounts? are those fees for professional advice? or those money will be used to bribe some people somewhere in other for them to manipulate the system and procure false documents to back up an application.

Enough of these for Christ sake. How can you tell me this is right as a Christian? let's encourage people to do the right thing. The system works if we do the right thing. We can not keep shouting that our leaders are corrupt while the followers also engage in all these shady and dubious attempts to rip off their fellow country-people.

Agents like you are the reason those embassies keep making things difficult for applicants, cos they do not know who/what application to believe. And Agents like you are the reason they think many Nigerians are fraudulent.

Enough said!

^^Which kin kobo kobo? how many of you women will agree to marry us if na kobo kobo we get?

chaircover:
So if you "clever" guys have found ways round the laws on how to safeguard your money, why then are you spitting and choking on your tea and making a big fuss about the injustice of divorce settlements? . . . . . A law that you have no intention of following?
We can not keep quiet until the injustice is totally dealt with and again the not so "clever" ones need to learn.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Buhari Woo Tinubu ! by OAM4J: 7:37am On Apr 12, 2011
My take is that, there should be no alliance again before the election. If neither of the party has a clear majority then we go into run off, then we can start talking about alliance.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Buhari Woo Tinubu ! by OAM4J: 7:21am On Apr 12, 2011
If the report is true and those people are truly the ones negotiating for Buhari, honestly the man go fall my hand and I will prefer that everyone/party answers his fathers name, and wait till there is a run-off.

This is becoming too dirty for my liking. Just hope it's not true.

Disgusting!

Tinubu can never be a king maker.
GEJ is offering Tinubu  a quarter of his cabinet posts, I hope Ohaneze got similar percentage sha, else it's about time you re-negotiate. grin

I just think you Yoruba's are in danger of selling to the devil. The only state that can cope without the FG is Lagos and the natural allies of the SW are not in the core-North. Those are the two biggest clangers. I'm hearing stuff about rural states thats unreal; its best for the whole of the South and Middle Belt to sit and reach common ground than have unacheivable dreams. The only state that can afford to dream is Lagos.

I hope I've not been too diplomatic to be understood clearly. There realities on the ground we all need to face, I believe GEJ's view is quite longterm, but there is no better time than now to sieze opportunities.
Your concern is really unnecessary cos we are not at this time asking the FG to withhold the SW allocations. We are only saying we dont want to rely on the FG promises/offers to develop the SW, hence their is no need to be part of any GNU or rely on alliance with anyone. Give us our national due, do whatever you want with the rest, if they like let them not spend kobo on any SW states, we will be fine. cool

And you think selling our national treasuries is the best way to move forward as a nation? Government bureaucracy aside, we suck as a people. Government works in other places. With the right set of people , we can do just as impressive.

The failure of NEPA is not the failure of government per se, it is our failure as a people. We cannot continue harping on the awesomeness of the Chinese model for too long, we are not as inventive, and obviously, not as ingenious. We need to look to the Middle East. The UAE model is a better one for us. Use oil money, debt-less foreign money to develop your country, improve the social amenities, avoid as much debt as possible and then let your business men go forth into the world and bring in goodies back into your country. By so doing, the foreign investors would be forced to work on you own terms, and with that goes a lot of self-pride and surplus.

We have two options here: immediate 'awoof' money that we will have to repay 100x over for who knows how long  or a gradual development with very  little foreign debt. I prefer the latter.

I hate awoof money, at least not from Uncle Sam. And uncle Chinko is just as ruthless.

In the final analysis, we need to operate from position of strength, which sadly is the OIL MONEY  "GOD' has blessed us with
It's the reason why I agree with Dapo post on PPP. The major problem facing our infrastructure challenges is not for lack of resources but corruption and if GEJ wins I foresee business as usual. Imagine that his girlfriend minister of oil already alleged to have embezzled billions in less than a year, now ran abroad for appendectomy.
Tinubuism/Fasholaism is the best. PPP everything. Attach a profit incentive for private industry to develop things. If the Lekki Toll road succeeds, then we can throw up roads all over the SW within a 5 year period. Do this for roads, power, etc. Then you can start manufacturing, industrializing, and exporting. 10%+ annual GDP growth, follow a similar track that China followed. By 2100 we can hand our kids/grandkids a first world nation.

OBJism won't work anyway, the Nigerian government's money is too small. To grow most quickly we probably need $20 billiion of investment per year in Yorubaland. Federal Government budget is $30 billion. Our needs are more than the government can provide, basically.
Makes a lot of sense.

EzeUche:
Why not starve the SW of their oil allocation? That would be a start. It will force you region to rely on other sectors.
Wake up bro, many of the SW states are already having their IGR higher than the federal allocations from oil. And it will only get better.
PoliticsRe: Pdp Dangles Unity Govt Carrot Before Rivals by OAM4J: 5:44am On Apr 12, 2011
fstranger3:
Ok where is the initial capital for privatization coming from?  Most likely from abroad?  Eventually the money would be taken out of the country. What you want as usual is quick fix? But will it not last?  Most of MTN and Etiasalat's profit are taken out of the country, making us, relatively, poorer in the process. Even Glo, had to go offshore to raise fund and would be repaid with interest to the foreign investors.

We need big government at this point, not small. Lets spend the oil money for developmental project, equip the populace 'cos the future of oil doesnt look so bright ( It will either finish or Big Sam  will, EVENTUALLY, demand less)

I think OBJism with the right mindset/people is the best for us to jumpstart our national development.
We cannot run away from  foreign companies making profit on us, the important thing is the efficiency of those infrastructures. There is no guarantee quick fix fom the FG. What did we get from NITEL over the years? How many times have they carried out TAM on our refineries? And where are we with the roads, the rails and power?
PoliticsRe: Pdp Dangles Unity Govt Carrot Before Rivals by OAM4J: 5:37am On Apr 12, 2011
Beaf:
Will you reject the refinery and fertiliser plant he's going to build in Lagos? Lol!
Now, now, I wonder who's gonna build it? Do you now see the "importance" of GNU? Bruv, it helps. grin
Lagos doesn't need the Federal Govt building things for them in 2011. We want a private sector led economy.

Let the private companies build and manage those plants. How fair are those ones the FG built over the years?
PoliticsRe: Pdp Dangles Unity Govt Carrot Before Rivals by OAM4J: 5:20am On Apr 12, 2011
Who cares about GNU? Let whichever party that wins do the right thing and let's have a strong opposition to put the ruling party on her toes.

My concern is; in a case where both do not agree, who has the final say? or should the matter be left pending/abandoned?

Do you think the Igbo will wait? That is the question you must ask yourself.

45 years is far too long. Especially a major group such as the Igbo who have the numbers.
Well, it is the price Ndigbos have to pay for supporting Jonathan.

After Jonathan in 2015, PDP will zone the presidency back to north and am sure the north will retain it till 2023.

Sorry, there is nothing Sullivan Chime and Rotimi Amaechi can do about it.

But then Ndigbos can as well accept Lucky Joe's victory as their victory, after all he has some Igbo blood in him and one of his names is Azikwe.

besides no one told him Buhari will win any ward outrightly, Buhari is only looking for 25% total vote castes in each of the 6 SW states.
