The number of voters in the North is almost as twice as the number of voters in the whole south. Gen. Buhari has won this election! reindeer: Not with the fantastic PDP results being posted from the SS which for some reasons just finished counting. The results from SS is crazy as hell. Is it me who is a Core Niger Deltan ready to die for Buhari now but was without hindsight ready to die for clueless GEJ if he had not succeeded Yar' Adua that we go and fight my Northern brothers who are on a rescue mission to save us from 12years of backwardness? Please be informed that if there is trouble, the people I would go after are our Common Northern and Southern Enemies, namely my brothers GEJ, Mr Fix it, Baba Ogun, Atiku, IB, ,etc. hey dont get me wrong, am not in support of the divide. Am from SW and my support for BB Ticket is well known on this forum. |

The country is already visibly divided along the North/South line. |

Politics › Re: Run-off 4 Sure- Not Good For 9ja (north Vs South) by OAM4J: 8:48pm On Apr 16, 2011 |
dasa: Only the southerners believe in Issues and personalities. for the north, it is north vs south.
We from the south that don't want to see that it is a Born to rule power struggle.
The north always has a clear agenda and they work towards it.
Southerners that voted for CPC do not understand what is at stake.
However, i doubt there will be a run off. Jonathan will get 25% in 2/3rds of the state and will have higher votes. even if the margin is not wide.
People of the south wake up, we are not yet one nation, fight for the right to control the center so you can influence the growth of your area.
If buhari wins, southerners go beg for projects tire, its exactly what he did with PTF. lets keep watching sha. I disagree with you. The sentiments is the same both in the North and in the South. majority are voting along the ethnic line both in the South and in the North. @OP While I agree the election is North vs South, I doubt there will be a rerun. It is clear this is between PDP and CPC cos other parties including ACN are just missing in action in this election. |

I think we can safely declare 90% of the registered voters of SS/SE in favour of GEJ, balance it with the result you get in the North.
The SW actually has given the victory to GEJ. IMO. |

Princek12: Does Buhari even have a facebook page? At least GEJ does have a facebook page. Not that having a facebook page is material to being a good president, but it does indicate that GEJ is willing to embrace new ideas and technologies, which is reflecting in his embracing privatization. Buhari is old stock and used meat. He would not embrace any new ideas, especially anything deemed western and anti-Islam. Vote for GEJ. Vote for a new era, not recycled meat. This is a campaign after election my brother. Too late now. |
