I just want to ask some advice regarding student visa to uk, I am a registered nurse, i passed the nursing licensure exam in the phil last 2008. I applied as a volunteer nurse for 6 months hoping to land a job but there are no available slots, and even if I land a job the salary is very low, so i decided to apply for a student visa to uk, I heard alot of negative about student visa to Uk, please give me some advice,

Don't be discouraged by the negative news you heard about UK student visa. Lots of people still get to study in UK.
make your application, get the admission and put all the documents together and apply.
Hope you have enough fund for the study or a sponsor? That is another major key.

You don't need a visa as a Nigerian to those places. You will be given visa on arrival.

The problem would have been transist visa, since there is no direct flight from Nigeria to those places

But if your location is UK as your profile suggests, then you are ready to go. Go book your ticket.
