President Bola Tinubu secures landmark deal with United Arab Emirates across sectors; Visa ban on Nigerian travellers is lifted immediately.

Furthermore, by this historic agreement, both Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines are to immediately resume flight schedules into and out of Nigeria, without any further delay.

Additionally, President Tinubu is pleased to have successfully negotiated a joint, new foreign exchange liquidity programme between the two Governments, which will be announced in detail in the coming weeks.

Looking forward to sharing our strategic plan for the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy on Monday, October 2nd. A group has proposed the renaming of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

South West - Oduduwa region.
North West - Arewa region.
South East - Biafra region.
North East - Kanem Borno region.
South-South - Niger Delta region.
North Central - Middle Belt region.

That the description of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones simply as North West, South West, North East, South East, North Central, and South-South is of no political significance, hence the need to adopt a more politically conscious approach to closing the gap of regional agitation.

Good or bad idea?
