It's alright, thank you. 😊

I've settled for 'ÌTÀN ÌWỌ̀ OÒRÙN ÁFÍRÍKÀ'. I don't really need it for something serious. I'm just trying to be painstaking about a fun book cover I'm playing with.

I may show you when I am done. 😁
grin

.....can't wait.

This is the reality of japa 90% of the time. People thinking we go rough am, we can beat the system and of course your friendly Nigerian sociopath who is fking you in the ass after collecting your money.

None of those fking travel agents is your friend - they are bastards who are fuc-king you over. It is literally a con job. There was one horror story of some guy who paid money, big money for Kazakhstan or somewhere like that. The guy eventually made it back to naija but the entire thing fked him up so badly he committed suicide.

You are right to be fearful sir though you will have your own small agenda there as he's a under ellupee 😁 but I'll like to hold otti a little to his word for now cause of the destruction his kerosene sharing pot bellied predecessor wrecked on the state and him being governor against the run of play. Same way I'll holding president tinubu to his policies though they look rough at first cause the problems are too much. I'm not from abia but I have some close people and my babe's from there which heightened my interest more in the state's affairs.
Theflint1:

We know ipeazu ran that state rugged. The last stooge in a long line of terrible governors. I think he's right to voice out his complaints on this one. With time aided by the monies accrued from the subsidy removal as chrisblog said and maybe loans the pending payments might be resolved. If otti fails too then abians need to go ask God to give them their own personal Jesus.
....it may sound funny, but that is my fear actually.

Talk is always cheap but I think he will deliver.

Plus he will have extra money to spend from FAAC money as a result of no more subsidy and multiple FX rates.
I really pray and hope he doesn't disappoint. All eyes are on him to turn tides around.

Since 1999 Abians have never enjoyed dividends of democracy....haabaa! I want him to start working instead of talking too much to the press.

Refuse he cleared few days ago are back again, cos he fails to plan for wastes evacuation and management at the Locations.

He should sit down and plan well for future of the state. Enough of mediocrity.

Enormous debt by Ikpeazu responsible for delay in salaries, pensions — Otti

This Man should focus and stop complaining. No one forced him to contest. If he can't do it, he should please resign honorably.

Yeah. It is The Nation. I remember now.

Anyways, good morning.

So, I kind of need your help with something. I want to translate these words "West Africa Tales" to Yoruba, with the sound signs.

I came up with 'Itan Iwo-Orun Afrika.' grin

But I really want to use a Yoruba word for Africa. I know Africans are called like "Awon alawo dudu", so will "the continent of Africa" mean "ile awo dudu?" Or there's a word for "continent" specifically?

I am sha trying to put it together like- "Itan Iwo-Orun Ile Awo Dudu" (West Africa Tales). How grammatically correct is that in Yoruba?
grin

...wish us happy father's day fess.

They are cancelling churches now. Just in a week, they attacked like wild dogs following personalities; Agbakoba [SAN], Pastor Adefarasin and one of their own Sam Amadi.

So its no surprising they are doing same on this Platform too. Even Don J that used to get sense is now sharing fake updates and believing in fantasy.

Lol, no. cheesy

It's just curious that two of the defendant lawyers made reference to that one publication. That other media houses somehow were unaware of.

And during the campaigns, boya it's The Nation sha, and not Tribune; but one of them was notorious for pushing out biased news favoring Tinubu.

I remember one propaganda after another about CAN, Adeboye and other Christian bodies supporting Tinubu, only for these people to come out and debunk the stories.

Going to court over one state when election happened in 35 other states is nothing short of laughable.

Imagine going to the iRev to download blurred election result instead of submitting the original signed result of those LG as evidence.

"He claimed in his witness statement that based on his collation and mathematical tabulation, there were cases of massive over voting in the two states.

Under cross examination by INEC’s lead counsel Abubakar Mahmoud, the witness was presented with a copy of the presidential election result sheet from polling unit 002, in Degema, Rivers state showing that 40 persons were accredited and 40 persons voted in the polling unit, with the INEC lawyer suggesting that the equal number of accredited voters and those who voted contradicts the claim of over voting.

Under further questioning on why he chose Rivers and Benue states as his main areas of interest, the witness said it was just random. The Professor was then asked whether an analysis of election results from just two states is enough to make conclusions on a presidential election, and he said he was limited by time."

Nigeria's new president, in office for less than a month, is pushing to put Africa's largest economy on a reform track that investors have eyed for decades, fuelling excitement that money could flow to a nation that many had deemed uninvestible.
