For those of u that believe jumia did a scam promo (megathon) from june 1-7, that's a lie because i am among those that got a phone for half the price. I HATE KONGA, apart from the fact that they have pay on delivery, they don't deliver on time. Their worst part is, when u call customer care, all they tell u is to exercise patience. I HAVE USED KONGA THRICE, THEY FAILED TWICE. I HAVE USED JUMIA TWICE, THEY ARE SUPERB!!! plus their customer care are there to help unlike konga

Spread the news brother. Jumia is here to stay.

I ordered an innjoo i1s last year on jumia...i never received the phone...i ordered infinix hot on konga...i got it the next two days! Konga is awesome i tell you.

There had to be a reason you didn't receive your innjoo i1s if your order was truly verified, were you informed?

I even thought my browser was faulty when I saw that amount as shipping cost while trying to place the order. I refreshed the damn page and started over, still I got the same. I had to inquire from their customer care rep if there was an error cuz I wasn't ordering a car to be charged that kinda amount for shipping. All I was told is that it's system generated depending on the weight n size of what I'm ordering. And there was nothing like 'Pay on Delivery'. Kudos to Konga! Even though I wanna order a house, Konga hasn't charged me above 1k before. Sometimes it's free of charge. Since I never found the system at their website and the Samsung showroom I visited asked me to check back the following month, I had to settle with that Jumia of a store.

Bye-bye to em.

Which state is this? DHL most likely will be the logistics company to deliver and of course you won't get pay on delivery.

During the last fall yakata black Friday sales, I got two tabs, one lenovo and one bryte tab.

The lenovo was delivered within three days, from Lagos to ogbomoso...

However, the bryte tab wasn't shipped as it was already out of stock as at the time I was ordering, so they gave me another lenovo tab FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE BRYTE TAB!!! (N5000 difference)

And it was delivered within days....kilo

I had a friend that ordered an infinix zero from jumia, and it took them one FULL month for them to deliver it. And that was with threats, calls, emails. I even blamed the guy for patronizing them, he should have opted for konga instead...

Its either konga or the nearby shop for me!!!

One full month is quite unbelievable. There's something your friend didn't tell you, something must have gone wrong somewhere. Jumia I know hardly exceed their delivery timeline

Jumia so annoying. They Advertise products on their site and when u call them to place an order, you hear some artificial voices tell you they are out of stock.And for some of us outside Lagos,you bet Jumia will take several days to deliver your order.So disappointing.

Look at it from this angle, some other consumers ordered the same item and got it out of stock even before your call went through.
Since you're outside Lagos, has Jumia ever exceeded their delivery timeline to you before...that's if you've ordered with them before now.

Well, everyone has a story or two to tell. What i deduced so far is that when the system works for you, then they're good but the moment the system doesn't favour you you're quick to label it a scam.
If a company says they don't offer cash on delivery services to your state, pls how does that relate to poor service delivery?
If a company tells you they'll deliver to you between 2 to 4days and they deliver eventually on the 4th day, does that still translate to late delivery?
Some people have good stories to tell about Jumia or konga, my advice is stick with what works for you.
Jumia's megathon wasn't a scam, they clearly stated that it's fastest fingers that'll get the discounted items. I know so many people that got them, from Innjoo to Infinix and Tecno to Lenovo.
The fact that you weren't fast enough doesn't make the promo a scam.
Jumia is growing, I noticed they're opening new pickup locations gradually, so it means they're trying to reach more customers.
Logistics isn't that easy a thing o.

I totally agree with the author of this piece. I have been deceived too by JUMIA. I bought Infinix Zero phone from them last December. My order No is #309539728. I was told the phone was coming with free monthly etisalat 500MB. I'm fact the phone pack was sealed with the free MB tag. But to my surprise, I never got the free MB. when I called them, they asked me to call Etisalat. When I called Etisalat, the said it was only Infinix Zero phones sold by Konga that has the free MB. I calllws back JUMIA, but they would keep asking for this and that info about my phone. Nigerians should be warned about this dubious activities of JUMIA and be guided appropriately.

From the bit i know about all dis free data, you need to subscribe to at least 200MB monthly before your account is credited with the free data. Did Etisalat give you this info?

Its the same everywhere. They'd attend to u by alphabetical order of states. In Lagos centre, they are attending to Abia down to crossriver applicants today. Delta to Gombe is tomoro and so on. The aptitude test itself is slated for 24th & Lagos candidates were told to be expectant of interview notification @ Kaduna from 4th November.

1. It is a random selection process
2. You need to keep your confirmation number to check for yourself, they no longer notify winners.
3. It's a lottery, some apply once and get selected while some apply for 10yrs before they get lucky. It's a game of luck.

Please house, i need this urgent info. I have a relative that won as a single, got married and even had a child before her interview. They were all granted visas. The issue now is, i want to help them pay their green card fee and they are sceptical about case number, they have different case numbers on their visas but on the slip given to them at the embassy only a unique case number was written there. They all have different alien numbers, obviously. So my question is, which case number should they use.
