How can a sane person pick Efe (who struggle to make a correct sentence- truth b told) ahead of the likes of ttt, Kemen, bisola and Bassey who are the leading character in the game, and you tell me nothing informs the decision.
Other past winners(Ebuka,Uti,Dillish) have got great personality and they can address a crowd properly not someone who goes hiding when a guest walks into the house.
The past few weeks have really reveals alot about that guy....only to speak pidgin upandan.

You can roast me alive, i don't give a fucck.
I think you are missing the very point..

This game is neither a beauty contest nor a speaking contest nor a talent show. It's a reality show. And the basis of voting is "vote for the person you connect to the most".

I've been watching this game from day 1. I've never voted. But after Efe's diary session and the emotional appeal he made for votes, I picked up my phone and voted.

If you haven't noticed, the percentage of Nigerians who connect with pidgin is a lot more than those who connect with Queens English. And I'm sure those people connect more with Efe.

Your Opinion is Valid though.. But you only said you don't connect with Efe, that doesn't mean that other people who connect with him are lesser humans or have poor taste.

Yes, that's why I said he should give up rap and try art. He captured everything in a drawing that looked kind of stupid.

Someone just posted above. Hope you like it...
He can still improve in his rap.. He just needs to understand that rap requires a different kinda creativity.

Hopefully he'd learn that in future.

Efe's description of his artwork is apt.
He should drop rap and take up art.

His drawing is a man, half of his face is one and the other part is in about 3 parts.
He feels Biggie is a young man with swag and beards, his divided the other half of his face into various parts because he feels Biggie does shift, one person can't possibly go on for 24hrs.

Out of the evicted HMs, he misses Bisola most, she believes in him. Cares for his well-being like an elder sister which keeps him going. Her talent inspires him... she delivers every time she is called upon.

He nominates, Bally and Bisola for return to the house.
Efe was very creative in his drawing.. he kinda took everything into consideration..

it was a very logical presentation..

His rap may not be top notch.. But that guy is creative.

RomanceRe: Do You Think I've Got A Chance With Him? by obayaya(m): 11:57am On Feb 08, 2017
Izen,

I don't think he's toying with your heart like you alleged. I think you are scared.

For 6 years, this guy has stood by you as a friend. Despite the discovery that you had feelings for him, he still remained steadfast, respected you, cared for you without trying to take advantage of that feeling or taking you for granted.

Now that's the mark of true love. Not the falling in love craze that ends after 2 weeks.

On the brighter side, this "wasted 6 years" has exposed you to every dimension of the man. You probably knows him better than any other woman out there.

You'll be doing yourself a great disservice by holding back and hiding away. It's time to confront those fears. It's time you stopped playing games with what you feel. it's time you spoke to him in all seriousness.

Don't let the chance of giving life to those feelings pass you by. Cos you'll regret it for the rest of your life

Dankwambo is a technocrat. One of the few shining lights we have up north. moreover, he's a stable character.

But unfortunately, I can't say the same for you.. i sincerely hope this your stance doesn't change before the end of the year.

Because, in all honesty.. You've always portrayed yourself as a man without conviction. And That's what I and many other people on this forum see you as.

Let's just hope this your support for Dankwambo was bought and paid for.

Protest: People coming together to demonstrate against a cause/institution.

The #IStandWithBuhari group is proposing a rally, the Tuface group is planning a protest.

You can continue living ur pipe dream on the internet, while reality keeps slapping you on the face day and night cheesy
You guys choose to look at this the way it suits your agenda of painting Trump evil..

let's take a critical look at these countries..

Saudi Arabia is USA's biggest Ally in the middle east. The US will always support the House of Saud, no matter how autocratic the rule is.. Saudi is a very important part of the US foreign policy strategy in the middle East.

After Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar are the other 2 legs of the Tripod on which US' foreign policy in the middle east stands.

Turkey.. You honestly don't expect the US to place a ban on the migration of a NATO member country into the US. If you were expecting that, then you are more Naive than I thought.

Egypt - US relation is part of the US' greater commitment to Israel. After the Arab - Israeli war, the US made it a point of duty to maintain close ties with Egypt. It might interest you to know that Isreal is the second biggest beneficiary of US military aid to non-Nato countries after Isreal.

Despite what you think Trump is, I'm sure General Mad dog and the relevant authorities helped draft that executive order in line with the US foreign policy in middle east.

Quick question, Forget Trump now for a minute,

Does America have ties with Saudi? If yes, then as president he is protecting American interests and not necessarily his own.
I thought America and Saudi were allies aren't they? So why are people surprised they weren't banned.
I'm surprised Pakistan wasn't put on the list, because they do also migrate a lot. What interests has Trump got in Pakistan? What interests has America got in Pakistan? Its a genunie question btw.
I know most of their migrants are highly skilled, IT, medicine etc and they also have extremists there.
Pakistan isn't on the list because she's a strong ally of America. Ever wondered how it came to be that Pakistan has Nuclear warheads?

The media can choose to make this about Trump.. But the truth is.. it's all about American Interest. If you don't like it, attack the establishment that your darling Clinton represents. they're the reason why US can never raise a finger against the house of Saud no matter what.

The truth is, the infrastructure needed to work with these "foreign policies" are not yet in place, so we would have to suffer the short term effect for the long run benefits.

And we are not immune: an increase in the Interest rate in America or BREXIT in UK affects a lot of things down here and other parts of the world.

Btw, forecasts for the Nigerian Economy in 2017 would see us getting out of recession in early Q3, so things would still get better.
I hope so bro..

Nigeria is classified among the Emerging / Frontier Market Index, so we need to actually learn from the developed market. They didn't become developed overnight!
I understand the bolded. But when have any policy gleaned from the playbook of these developed countries ever worked here?

From where I stand with my layman understanding of economics and Monetary policy, It just seems like Nigeria is immune to the policies used by these advanced countries.

Cos we've always copied them and it has always failed to yield the desired results here. Why's that so?

Maintain Status quo and hope for the best?

#Gamble as Usual

However, amongst the major advanced economies, only the U.S Fed has commenced policy tightening while the Bank of Japan (BOJ), the Bank of the Federal Reserve raised its benchmark Federal Fund rate by 25 basis points in December 2016, to a range of 0.50 to 0.75 per cent, and also provided indication of rate hikes in 2017

England and the European Central Bank, all retained their accommodative policy stance at their most recent meetings
I don't understand why these experts always resort to basing their decision on what advanced economies are doing?

For God's sake, Nigeria is on another pedestal.. What works in these countries doesn't always work in Nigeria.

I'm sure they would have listened to various expert advices before making their decision.
Which expert did they listen to? When the body of engineers in the country are saying you don't have to close the airport to do this.

The expert is probably an engineer and he/she is a member of the NSE. So I really doubt that.

I can only think of one factor that could be influencing their decision. And that's money.

Doing it only at night will mean better equipment, fast setting concrete etc

No wonder Goodluck Jonathan could not govern this country effectively. sometimes you can't help but wonder what Nigerians really want.

They cry that Nigeria is the most corrupt country in the world and its tarnishing our image. If only we can have a president that can tackle corruption Nigeria will be the richest country on earth. Now we have a president tackling corruption and 80% of Nigerians are insulting him.

They cry that Nigeria has no maintenance culture yet an airport is being scheduled for maintenance and they are all crying, then when an air plane crashes as a result of lack of maintenance they will all call for Buhari's head.

We just want to eat our cake and have it.

Nigeria needs leaders like Buhari. A leader strong enough to make unpopular decisions.
Nobody is saying they shouldn't rebuild the runway.. We are only saying that they don't have to close down the Airport to do it. That's the position of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Manufacturers association of Nigeria.

In fact, Engr Otis Anyaeji - the President of NSE explained the position of the Nigerian Society of Engineers succinctly on Channels on Saturday citing examples.

Now, If the government won't listen to the body of Engineers, the manufacturers and the organised private sector, I wonder who they will listen to.

Nobody is supporting Jammeh's interest. This is a matter of sovereignty.

You expect the soldiers to vacate their posts and hand over the seat of power to foreigners?

Come on.. Jammeh is gone.. Ecowas troops have no business in Gambia..

Senegal is just using this as an excuse to increase their influence over Gambia.

NNS unity is not currently within the territorial waters of Gambia so, your argument is flawed. Whatever the case, ECOWAS forces will move into Gambia anytime from tomorrow and Jammeh will be removed. We have gone beyond the stage of legal jargons. Jammeh either hands over peacefully tomorrow or get the Gbagbo treatment.
The gbagbo treatment led to a civil war that claimed more than 3000 civilian lives

The Gambian Constitution was breached when Jammeh sent soldiers to the electoral commission before filing an appeal. You cannot be a judge in your own case neither can you build a case on an illegality. Those are two cast iron legal maxims.

It's foolishness to create a crises and cry wolf. He is the one that's declaring war on the Gambian people. Ecowas is coming to help the people. Gambia is not at war, the (ex)president is on his own. He lost legitimacy with the people, Ecowas, AU and the rest of the world. After tomorrow is becomes a nobody.
I don't care what happens to Jammeh.. I honestly don't care..

But the OP presented the constitution. And Jammeh is taking advantage of that constitution. He got the approval of the parliament (representative of Gambia people).

So, Tell me.. If Ecowas go in blazing tomorrow, will they be seen to be protecting the Gambian people or constitution when they are in fact disregarding the constitution and the Gambian people represented by the Parliament?

I think Ecowas needs to rethink their strategy.. Force won't cut it.

Gambia is not yet at war so your position doesn't apply. The state of emergency is illegal cos the expected war can only happen after the tenure of the incumbent, the president therefore has no right to declare such. We must no applaud his stupidity which he mistakes for smartness.
Wars begin long before the first shots are fired. And it'll be foolhardy to wait till the first shots are fired before getting ready?

With NNS Unity lurking around the coast of Gambia without an explicit permission of the Gambian Government, Gambia is at War.

You have, without realising it, turned the Constitution of Gambia on it's head. Gambia is not at war. Declaration of a state of emergency by the President of Gambia at this time is illegal and unconstitutional. He declared the emergency in anticipation of war. This is at variance with their constitution. Therefore, Jammeh cannot unilaterally extend his tenure. Your arguement in this regard is full of holes, Op.
A Nigerian Warship is Patrolling the shores of Gambia as we speak.. Senegal is hosting Ecowas' Forward Operation Base filled with battle ready soldiers waiting to invade the Gambia when given the order..

Technically, Gambia is at War..

If what I described above doesn't sound like war, I wonder what it sounds like?
