Currently he is Deputy. And the way he is behaving now, it seems not handing him such position was a good decision. Instead of him to use his current position to prove himself better than the current guy, he is busy misbehaving.
Well, He's unhappy and bitter about the whole thing

Isn't Timi a part and parcel of "APC Leadership"? Too much "notice me" bacteria is afflicting the guy.
He was betrayed by the leadership... He was supposed to take over from Lai Mohammed after lai became minister..

But the Leadership felt he couldn't do the job for whatever reason

I think most people want the interview to continue.

Though my opinion is that most people see it as an avenue to lash out at the contestants.
That aside, it's actually a fine development.
And the "lashing out at others" will continue in a vicious cycle till the end of the contest.

I don't see how that is a fine development.

Check this out Sir.

Well..

MizMyColi:

If my memory serves me correctly, I remember that the likes of Tohpahz and Twaci were interviewed, among other contestants.
Though, it wasn't in an official capacity because at the time, the central team of organizers weren't really sold in on the idea.
It is this year that Tosyne's and Wristwatch' work became widely recognized.
Oh.. I get it now

The recognition is the cause of all these?

The interviews has caused more harm than good.. I think you guys should revert to the usual format..

I stand to be corrected, but I remember vividly that Wristwatch started the interview thingy ever on NL. He deserves credit for that.

Moreover, I stand to be corrected.
They have handled previous pageant interviews.

Whether or not they are good persons is not in dispute.
There are lots of things I can take as BullShit.
Betrayal, either directly or indirect isn't one of them.

DyG has always held and speaks of them in high esteem to me as far as their role in this contest is concerned.

Lately, I have had the joy of adjusting to life as a family woman....Being a voltron on NL is really not a strong forte anymore.
But DyG?
He is worth it.

I have respect for you now too, Irene.
Don't go spoiling it.
There has never been any pre contest interviews in this contests until this year... Never..

interviews were always in the form of Contest questions and post contest interview for the winner..

Never before the contest itself

@bolded. Dygeasy deserves more than a honourary award for that. cool
I don't have kind words for you either Mr Fynestboi..

You brought up this interview thing during the Miss NL contest.. And all these controversies can trace it's root to that singular action.

And now, Mr. Dygeasy and the organising team is taking the fall for trying to accommodate your excesses.
RomanceRe: Voting For Mr Nairaland Without An Interview by obayaya(m): 10:08am On Jul 12, 2016
SniperX:
And Dygeasy displays yet again gross tendency of incompetence and lack of ingenuity.

From enacting rules he couldn't execute or even interpret, to modifying the same rules without interpretation.

He has announced there would be no interview for the contestants as a prerequisite to gauging their intelligence, IQ and sophistication. Isn't this guy jamming his brains with too much mental exertions he can't possibly pull off? The unpredictability of the contest!

And he refuses to seek help in the fear of being relegated.

Now we are just to vote without having a one on one or hands-on with the contestants or having them air their views on important issues.

Dygeasy, please seek help, don't ruin this pageantry.

You almost killed it irredeemably in the last Miss Nairaland contest, now you have sunk this one deeper than the Cotahuasi Canyon of Peru.

Dump your ego, boy. Get people to help you.

I understand you're still a student and your exams may well be about the corner.

Dont ruin your life's course because of online pageantry. Your life seems to rotate around the orbit of Mr/Miss Nairaland pageantry; this is the singular event with which you calculate the worth of your existence.

Dont be a loser, set up a panel to help you which would enable you handle your degree and life properly.

Be wise. Mr Nairaland comes once a year, your life is for all time. Align your priorities if you have any brain in your cranium case.
I've tried as much as possible to stay away from all these Miss/Mr Nl pageantry.. But the truth is that what you wrote up there is erroneous and hugely self serving..

In the 6 edition preceding this year's contest, there was never an interview.. Never. The only interviews are the final contest questions for the finalists. I

Those interviews aren't a show of intelligence. They've never been. Instead it has been a source of controversy. Accusations of contestants having someone answering questions for them.

If you are really interested in contestants' intelligence, then have a go at them on the campaign thread and try to ask smart and cunning questions that will expose their inadequacies. That's how it has always been.

And singling out Dygeasy for your diatribe is ridiculous and petty. That guy singlehandedly rejuvenated this contest when it was almost dead. Give the young man the credit he deserves for consistently managing certified arseholes like yourself.

Mr Dygeasy.. 1 lesson.. Change doesn't always make things better.

cheers

PoliticsRe: IGR: Poor And Rich States In Nigeria - Economic Confidential by obayaya(m): 8:33pm On Jun 26, 2016
Emancipation:
There is no reason why Abia and Anambra shouldnt be ahead of Enugu. Abosulutely none. Even small ebonyi state is flexing hard.
Enugu has a wider spread than Anambra and Abia.

while Anambra and Abia economy rely on commerce (markets),SME and few industries, Enugu has the most developed services sector in the east. this services sector takes care of the services needs of the 5 eastern states. Enugu is leveraging that. Together with a well developed tax collection strategy and few industries, Enugu tops all other south eastern states.

Anambra and Abia are performing way below expectations though. I believe if they get their tax collection strategy right, they can comfortably knock Enugu off the perch.

Ebonyi has been outstanding.. I'm sure if their IGR for 2015 is updated, the figure will be somewhere close to that of Anambra and Abia if not above them. Ebonyi seems to have understood where their strength lies (Agriculture and mining) and they are pursuing it aggressively.

Imo is a disgrace.. A blot on the banner of the East.

If you have an account you don't comment with, you might as well not comment not on Miss Nairaland threads since you don't like commenting.

The 300 post threshold is for the greater good. Stop tackling it for your selfish interests.

You need to see the number of accounts that sprang up today for the purpose of voting.

Five year old accounts with just 10 votes? Does being inactive have another meaning other than that?
The 5 years old account with 10 votes wasn't opened just for Miss NL..

But I can as well open an account today and spam sexuality section all night and be eligible to vote..

5 years old account with 10 votes is a lesser evil in my opinion

If the students don't protest, they sign away their rights forever..

For God's sake, the first protest was peaceful.. But the VC felt too important to address the students.

ASUU can go on strike for months and not be proscribed by the FG. Why proscribe the SU for protesting Peacefully for a day?

The undertaking is an infringement on the rights of the students. And Prof. Ramon Bello just started something he cannot finish.

Do you speak of facts or mere conjectures? Dont you have access to information or you merely just wanna be sentimental? Did INEC not approach the Supreme Court for a clarification of its judgment and the court held that its decision is final, that the matter upon which it decided was leadership of PDP in Anambra and not who had the right to submit list of candidates for election to INEC, which are both different issues? Please were you present when the alleged bribe was given? You dont just come to a public forum to spew baseless rubbish just because you are a nonentity and the persons involved will not gain anything by suing you for libel.
