Can't you make your point without insulting? Or are you one of the lots that develops fever each time IBOs are mentioned; Biafra is imaginary yet you are talking about it...Think! Think! Young Man Think!... Ephemmm: |
Articulated and well succinctly put response. You sounded so intelligent. Please further educate the mofos who likes to criticize others but receives criticisms with a pitch of salt. Keep it up Bro!!!! blackmatter007: |
Sorry I just saw your post. Yes its a good business but location and getting relevant documents is key. You can contact the op and other players in the field and make comparison in terms of price, efficiency and effectiveness. Goodluck. agarawu23: |

Good Morning Enugu State, Its a pity that Enugu indegenes just woke up to see what Nnamdi Kanu saw years ago and was going places conscientising and motivating Igbos (Biafrans) to rise up to the occasion. Enugu was one of the weakest point during the IPOB protest staged last year to first quarter of this year. They made only one attempt before their feminine Governor waded in and they gave in cheaply. Its never late. Enugu state can still rise and be counted by regrouping and forging a common front against the blood sucking Fulani herdsmen. Device whatever means available to resist and quell future occurrence this devilish attack. Stop waiting for the president or your governor because they are forever protected by the security agencies. They will only make public statements and give stipends to the injured. A word is enough for the wise. RIP to the dead. |
Your expression here is a total display of umpretentiousness. It shows you can live and accommodate others irrespective of their status. I can sense you are not a material-centered person. Please keep it up!. ogorwyne: |

I wanted to place you where you belong but had a change of mind the moment I saw your user name "MADCOW1". You may hit the street and continue with your madness. MadCow1: |
Thanks for making him more popular. cathodekazim: |
Dont mind him. He is not a serious person. I have visited the acclaimed workshop and posted my findings here for interested individuals consumption. Its not in my character to stall peoples effort but all I can say here is: prospective investors should thread with caution. Words are cheap. bigtalla: |
Diction of a Jumia representative. Tell your paymaster Jumia to improve on all I listed. Carry out a survey from merchants and see the result. Merchants are complaining bitterly. Go and check well, Jumia is going down gradually in terms of merchant base. There operations is way too awkward. In our last meeting of Young Entrepreneurs, almost all merchants complained about Jumia's operations. Its not a must to sell on Jumia though but as a virtual store, Jumia must rise up to occasion. a MukaboxNG: |
There is no office there. I just saw two tanks placed near the bush. Again, why should your manager book appointment with someone in the morning and disappoint in the evening. I am sure the OP is the one writing. He is not available and you are using his username to write on his behalf. Manager my foot. A manager that doesn't understand exigency and dynamics of business is not worthy to be called a manager. 8 missed calls from Monday to this moment, no replies. He is not available and the phone kept ringing, may be he traveled to the mars. ncolumella: |
OP I would have doubted all your write up here if I hadn't seen two tanks you kept somewhere in Festac. He needs to understand business moves with time and trust. I called OP on Monday and after much conversations, he provided his base in Festac and we agreed that in the evening I should call him when I get to Canal Gate, 6th Avenue Festac so that he can direct someone that will show me the tanks and other things. In the evening, I hurriedly left my office amidst tight Lagos traffic to the venue, called Op for more than 8 times no response. Having wasted time and fuel driving to the place, it will be ridiculous for me to go back without achieving anything. So I started asking okada riders if they know any gas plant around, they said No. Not untill one elderly keke rider directed me to a different place altogether. By God's providence, I met a guy who taught me so much about the mini gas plant and directed me to the place where OP have 2 mini tanks. I forgot to mention that OP also promised to give me contact of someone that will visit the site where I intend to build the mini gas plant to ascertain if it will be okay or not but never picked his calls. I called OP twice yesterday, he never picked nor return the calls till this moment. Now I begin to wonder if the OP is for real or a middleman. Because I see no reason a serious businessman will ignore or refuse to return missed calls from prospect investors.

I believe this is an open business. Kindly answer all questions here for everyone to learn. How much does it cost to acquire these licences assuming one choose to operate a 4-5ton skid? ncolumella: |
What about town planning? Police report and others? You never mentioned it anywhere in your write up. Explain things in details so that would-be investors will understand and know what to expect. ncolumella: |
Jumia is a terrible place to sell. Even if you have issues and visit their Head Office, they will treat you like a leper. No courtesy. I have turned off my store on Jumia. ceecia: |
Can you throw more light on the necessary licence and other legal requirements for this business. I find overtime that most dealers or marketers per say doesn't give out all information regarding a business dynamic which is a very important part of every venture. Again, I will suggest you answer every question transparently here instead of call me or send email. That way all interested person(s) can ask you relevant questions. Once more, I need more clarifications on the licence and other documents required for this business. |
I can agree with the OP posit on selling on Konga but Jumia to me its NO NO!!. Alot of returns, poor customer/merchant service. No direct contact between buyer and seller. I mean no phone contact. Returned products MUST be collected at their Head Officer at Ikeja. It takes Jumia team almost a week or more to respond to merchants issues.. Jumia commission is double if not tripple of Konga commission. Delivery on jumia is as slow as snail. I advise new sellers to start with Konga as their services are more clear and seamless compared to Jumia. Jumia sucks. |
this promise to be a good business but I have some questions: 1. Is 4m asking price for the 2.5 tons? 2. What about issue of safety? I intend to run a biz of this nature in a close located at Satellite Town Lagos. 3. Can you visit the location to check if okay for the business? 4. With payment 4m (assuming its fixed) what accessories are you going to supply? I await your response. |
Greetings: I am a seller on Jumia and Konga Platforms hence wish to share my observations as well as challenges encountered selling on the platforms. Please note that I am not in any way trying to tarnish image of the virtual stores. The Challenges: 1. Listing: Uploading of items on Jumia platform is very herculean as the uploaded items are subjected to much scrutiny and most times rejected with no cogent reasons. Listing on konga appears more seamless timely and user friendly. 2. Customer Service: While it takes Jumia account officers and seller support units 4 - 1week to reply to e-mails pertaining merchant issues, Konga customer care agent is always at hand to pick calls and address merchant issues. 3. Buyer/Merchant Relationship: On Jumia platform buyers contact phone numbers are not provided making it difficult for merchants to communicate with buyers before products are shipped. This makes it difficult for merchants to contact buyers to ascertain their readiness and availability to pick up shipped orders. While on Konga platform, buyers contact are made available which makes it easy for merchants and buyers to discuss more about the products in terms of specifications and other clarifications. 4. Return Items: Return on Jumia platform is much coupled with the fact that the return item must be picked up at Jumia Head Office when scheduled irrespective of the weight or number of items concerned. Its painful for a merchant who stays in Festac to spend close to 1000 naira going to Jumia Head Office - Ikeja to pick a return item worth 800 naira. Konga will always return the item through KOS office where the item was originally shipped. 5. Delivery: Delivery on Jumia takes a longer time. It takes about 1 - 2 weeks for Jumia to deliver up countries orders. Konga delivery rate is faster that most times it takes few days for items to be delivered to up countries and 2 days within lagos. 6. Commission: Jumia commission is VERY high when compared to konga. From the above, one will think I am promoting Konga but for real, Konga operations seems more buyer/merchant friendly. Merchants on both or either of the plaftorm kindly share your views. |
ThankGod you came back alive. When will our ladies learn? With stories of insecurity, kidnapping and other vices, I think its unwise to visit a guy alone up to his residence. What if he gang-rape or cut off your head? I cannot but hiss at some ladies sense of reasoning and wanton desire for material things. TeeFeh: |
kenzysmith:Is this part of the sense you spoke about? |
And what have you achieved with your sense? Typing nonsense on Nairaland and claiming Igbo when you are not one? Kids everywehere.... kenzysmith: |
