Reality: The Russian Army is horribly undersupplied, poorly led, and has been roundly beaten by the militia of Europe's poorest nation. The gear is outdated and their training methods are pathetic

What everyone thought: The Russian Airforce is second only to the US Airforce. Russia is capable of sustaining massive air-based operations similar to the US
Reality: The Russian Airforce got a bloody nose thanks to a few SAMs and cold-war-era anti-air guns. Not enough training hours, outdated equipment, and terrible maintenance

Intelligence

What everyone thought: Russian intelligence, stemming from the legendary KGB, is the greatest intel gatherers on earth. With teams of hackers, armies of spies, and tons of high-tech equipment- they can compete with the CIA
Reality: Russian intel is terrible. They have failed to see extremely obvious attacks coming and have failed to destroy Ukrainian anti-air weapons
Before this war, we all thought highly of the Russian Bear. We thought their military was #2 on earth and that their Navy and Airforce were second only to the USA. Those delusions have been shattered. Russia is a paper tiger- this cannot be denied. Lack of maintenance, lack of supplies, lack of leadership, lack of training- I could go on forever.

Why would Russian nukes work? Nothing else has. No matter how important or expensive it’s ALL broken.

Russian nukes and all nukes are really on a radioactive compound called Tritium. Nukes need a constant new stream of tritium to remain functional and deadly. Tritium is also HYPER expensive and difficult to handle.

Russia cannot maintain a SINGLE aspect of its military so why would I think that Russia suddenly has the capacity to maintain its nuclear stockpiles?

Can they keep adding new tritium to all their nukes? Can they maintain the missiles? Can they train the teams to keep them up.

Some nuclear weapons no doubt work but I question the strength of Russian nuclear forces.

Russia is doing incredibly well. Russia held ALL the military advantages at the start, yet 8 months on now, and Russia is losing territory. That is a catastrophic Russian failure. An astonishing feat of doing fantastic for Ukraine.

Russia had a massive advantage in military equipment at the start. Holding all the advantages, Russia should have captured the entire country in 5 days. Russia expected to win within 5 days, and Western analysts generally agreed, believing Russia would wrap up Ukraine within 1-2 weeks.




Yes, the West provided ATGMs and MANPADs to Ukraine, but that would only prove useful at all, if Ukraine could hold out longer than the projected 5 days for the war to finish. If tiny Ukraine couldn’t hold back the Russian juggernaut until Western supplies arrived in substantial numbers, those Western weapons would be meaningless.

Well, Ukraine did hold out, shattering Russia’s best troops at Hostomel and nearly wiping them out to the last man. That’s before substantial Western weapons arrived, and it only got worse from there.

Russia was forced out the Kyiv region.
Russia was forced out of the city of Kharkhiv.
Russia’s Black Sea flagship, Moskva, was sunk.
Russia was forced off Snake Island.
Russia lost 6,000 sq kilometers in two weeks in the Kharkhiv region.
Russia lost the vital supply hub of Izyum.
Russia lost over 100 supply dumps, weapons depots, and command posts from HIMARS strikes in the space of about a month.
Russia is losing ground steadily in the Kherson oblast, West of the Dnieper.
Tiny Ukraine holding out more than a month, battling a 10 times larger giant, is already a Ukrainian victory. Holding out for nearly 8 months and pushing Russian troops back, is an outrageous win for Ukraine, and this is still ongoing.
The list of Russia clusterf**ks is far longer than this.



This does not equal Russia doing well, it equals Ukraine doing extremely well. With Russia’s equipment advantage starting the war, Russia’s forces performing nominally, within expected parameters, to put it plainly “doing average” would have amounted to capturing Kyiv within 5 days. We are nearly 8 months into the war and Russia doesn’t have Kyiv. It is losing Luhansk, losing Kherson, and it already lost the Kharkhiv oblast. Only a delusional fool would call that, “Russia doing well.”

My dream is to be a medical practitioner in USA and the money is available now, the problem is that I'm already a medical laboratory science student here in Nigeria, i found out that you can't start a medical school in America without obtaining a degree in science or medical related course, I'm thinking if I could purchase another jamb or change course from medlab to medicine, I want to know if it's easier to enter medical school after medlab here in Nigeria or finish medicine and surgery here and apply for USMLE, how hard is USMLE and how hard is to enter US medical school

I did that and I'm accompanying 3 people to get their voter's card tomorrow

Necessity causes productivity, we have been surviving before the Europeans came here, don't tell we will all die because we are not importing from them, like I said before everyplace will be affected but southern hemisphere will be less affected including Africa
