COMAC isn't a global competitor now and at no point did I say so but like everything Chinese they are in business taking orders from China and it's global partners while upgrading their technology and streamlining their manufacturing process and supply chains.

World War 2 was a continuation of world war one and like world war one, it was directed at France, the Soviet Union, and most importantly, the UK, which was the world power at the time.

The UK and France gave Germany concessions so that Germany wouldn't attack them and would face the Soviets instead.

The Soviets didnt want to be involved because it was Russia (the Russian monarchy specifically) that fought ww1.

The Bolsheviks (who Americans call communists) overthrew the Russian monarchy during the war (in 1917), signed an agreement with Germany, and then left the war, leaving the UK and France to fight Germany alone.

However, Germany before WW2 did not consider the Bolsheviks or Soviets as any different from the Russian monarchy and wanted to attack anyway.

That was the point of the back and forth agreements all sides had with Germany. But the agreements changed nothing and Germany attacked anyway.
