Gollywood needs to stop their "soft", blue films! I can't believe many of their popular actors and actresses don' t have any shame!

CelebritiesRe: Should Ghanaian Actress Jackie Appiah Act In Nollywood? by Obelomo: 7:57am On Jun 25, 2010
Why not? The only thing naija producers should not forget our stars, because they can over do it sometimes. I mean sometimes u dont know if ur watching a Ghanian movie or a Naija movie!

Age does not really matter, except if he is old enough to be ur papa! 14 years is not bad in my opinion!

My broda I am not chatting crap! I remember sombody posted "Why are Igbos in yoruba"? I was not reffering to the musicians who reside in the East.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by Obelomo: 10:10am On Jun 14, 2010
Well we have many Yoruba musicians than Igbo ones. Even within Nigeria many of these young musicians who are not even Yoruba, sing songs in our language.
CultureRe: Your View about Nigerians Who Travel To USA To Give Birth For USA Citizenship? by Obelomo: 8:35am On Jun 14, 2010
I don't see anything wrong with it! Many of these women are just trying to open the door of oppurtunity for their children.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Yoruba Movies Promote Babalawos? by Obelomo: 7:04am On May 15, 2010
I understand what Bee444 is saying I love many Yoruba films, but many emphasis on voodoo, Yemoja, etc. culture, even when it not relevant to the storyline.
TV/MoviesRe: Do U Still Watch Nigerian Films? by Obelomo: 1:22am On Apr 14, 2010
Another problem that they have is putting R rated prolonged commercials in family movies, like that stupid movie Heart of men! Anybody can watch films with their kids do they even need to show almost everthing, especially Majid nasty behind. Also, one old Yoruba comedy film Larinloodu part 1 they showed repeated adverts of a nasty Fuji commercial w/women in G-strings,etc. shaking their big behinds. I still enjoy naija films especially the yoruba ones, but Nollywood needs a lot of improvements.

FamilyRe: Ladies, Would You Marry A Pastor? by Obelomo: 3:34pm On Apr 08, 2010
I don't mind if God says so, but it is not my motive to marry a pastor! Being a pastor wife it is a lot of challenges, u basically become a kind of public figure. People watch everything u say and do! I just want a God-fearing Christian man. Even they said I am suppose to do God's work, but I am trying to find out what it really is for me.
TV/MoviesRe: Do U Still Watch Nigerian Films? by Obelomo: 5:08pm On Apr 07, 2010
I admit I do watch a lot of naija fims, especailly the Yoruba ones! Naija make too much movies that they are not concerned about the storylines, only the money. All my comments are more of corrections they need to make than criticisms.
TV/MoviesRe: Sunday Best Gospel Music Auditions In Nigeria- Very Funny! by Obelomo: 4:59pm On Apr 07, 2010
Yeah I saw it was very funny, but I wished they got more real talented people.
TV/MoviesRe: Do U Still Watch Nigerian Films? by Obelomo: 11:42pm On Apr 01, 2010
Also, I hate the too many unnecessary parts especially in the English films. Many films I would forward many dragged repetitive scenes and take the movie off. Later I will found out part two is so good and you actually know what the movie is about.

RomanceRe: What Is It With Girls And Tall Guys Anyway! by Obelomo: 6:22pm On Mar 31, 2010
I am 5'8 yes I do love real tall men! Sometimes I have to wear high heel shoe and I would feel funny looking way taller than the guy.
TV/MoviesRe: Do U Still Watch Nigerian Films? by Obelomo: 3:07pm On Mar 31, 2010
Even though I was born in states I love Nigerian films, but I do agree w/ some comments.  I do get tired of seeing the same old reclycled actors and actresses, especially in similar films, sometimes it looks like the same movie.  I am also sick of these "homemade" films, especially w/ three casts, something they can put on television.  Also Yoruba films emphasis too much on fetish solutions and ideas.  Horus in many AA's films in  even tv shows I hardly see them wear their natural hair.
CelebritiesRe: Patience Ozorkwor Should Stop Acting Negative Roles by Obelomo: 3:52pm On Mar 29, 2010

RomanceRe: Would You Marry A Workaholic? by Obelomo: 5:30pm On Mar 25, 2010
I can marry a workaholic, but he would have to balance time with family, etc. Many times I can be a workaholic, so along as I see the good results of him being one. For fellow workaholics, try to have some time to enjoy life, so u won't go crazy or get too sick. With the economy now I choose to be a workaholic, plus I need big savings badly!

RomanceRe: Is It Bad For A Married Woman To Go To A Night Club by Obelomo: 3:46pm On Mar 24, 2010
Not w/o her husband! I would not allow my husband to a club by himself, because too many single ladies go to a club looking for man.

Christianity EtcRe: Must We Believe All What Pastors Say? by Obelomo: 3:39pm On Mar 22, 2010
Well it's good to pray a lot and ask God for understanding about his word, but also read your bible often. Nobody is perfect, so I believe that a pastor is not always correct! Also, anything that is not in the bible and seems weird the fetish, etc., and ur pastor can't back it up with any biblical verse don't follow it.
