Hello,
Firstly have you paid whole or part of this tuition not less than 6000EUR. If yes, those stated proof of funds should be enough with full explanation of lump sum...

Hope this helps....

Philadelphia:
Hello great kinds and happy holidays!

I have an inquiry regarding proof of funds.

My program costs €11,500. Can a bank statement showing the equivalence in naira of the €11,500 for tuition and €7,000 for living expenses be sufficient for my visa application?
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by obenjamin: 8:15pm On Dec 20, 2020
As a phd applicant you sholud have a higher chance of visa approval..
You need to address the basis of rejection one after the other.
1.Insufficient fund..read the detailed requirement for finance. The 7000 Euros requirement either in bond or ur in account and well explained....
2. Ur uk immigration evidence shd be evident in your passport.. though I dont really get that.
3. Pls write an application letter stating your reason for applying for phd, choosing the school and why Ireland.
and another letter of undertaking stating the 3 undertaking statements....hope this helps otherwise you contact for more

GoodieAk:
Hello Everyone, I have been a silent reader. I was refused student visa last week. Reasons they gave are insufficient funds, no evidence for my previous immigration history in the UK (I lived in the uk for 5 years), no evidence of link to sponsor.

I applied for study visa with my spouse, as I am going for a PhD, however, they said insufficient funds. My previous UK immigration history, was that I came back to Nigeria when my leave to remain in the UK was refused, I indicated it in my application but I don’t have the evidence cause i left everything in the UK before coming back in 2018. I forgot to include my husband’s birth certificate. However, I intend to appeal it and include more supporting documents. There’s a place in the refusal letter that got me confused, it says;
ID:- Application letter
You have not submitted a signed letter of application with the required information and declaration / undertaken.
Please gurus in the house, how do I go about that statement.
Thank you in advance

Check the Abuja weekly decision with your reference number......then go get your documents.

Omon01:
Guys i thought the embassy sends mails to applicant concerning the outcome of their application(Good or Bad regardless).

I just got a text message from a ups delivery guy saying he wants to deliver my passport. I've checked my mails ,no mails. I am unable to pick up the package today as i am unavailable.

Please does this mean i was denied??

Hello Kingsley, I want to assume the name on your passport is thesame as on your credentials. But your birth certificate its different. You only need to support that with a sworn affidavit. You lucky you and your sponsor shared thesame last name.

I submit...

quote author=Rap101 post=94385852]Good evening everyone. I am Kingsley. A friend of mine recommended that I sign up here to get ideas on how to solve an issue bordering on some irregularities in my name as appeared on my birth certificate. At birth, my birth certificate bears CHINEDUM UKACHUKWU ABBAH. But my WAEC certificate bears a different name though similar as my name since then has been CHINEDU KINGSLEY ABAH which appears on all my certificates. The KINGSLEY is my English name so I am no longer using UKACHUKWU as its my tribal name. The issue here is that my brother that wants to sponsor me is bearing KENNEDY EMEKA ABBAH. Wouldn't this difference in surname cause issues for me? Please what can I do to solve this issue before submitting my application?
How many years program did you applied? If it's over a year I think you need more than that. and did you have a sponsor that can conveniently sponsor you for subsequent years.

quote author=Nelse post=94360353]I received a refusal letter last week from the embassy. the reasons for refusal are (1) insufficient fund when I showed 3516000 naira in my account after paying full one year tuition fees(2) Need to undertake the course in this state not demonstrated or warranted( i don't understand this). please how do I solve this..
Yes you can add the old doc also.
Address each point with detailed and verifiable documents

Adekemiejiro:

Please, I was denied based on
1) Financial documents
2) Employment/ Business documents
3) Evidence of sponsors's / appicant's circumstances
4)Evidence accounting for gaps in educational/employment history
Please, gurus in the house .I understand the 1and 4 clearly but the 2 and 3/is quite unclear to , what does the embassy mean

2 means your employment details.. this is certified through your employment letter, payslip or promotion letter. Or I'd you are into business show your business details

3 is sponsors details. Account statement showing enough financial capability, employment details and letter os sponsorship.

First mistake was that you were not allowed to go at 16 because if you can adapt to the Nigerian system you can adapt to any foreign system. Having said that, now that you have started higher education I Nigeria. This is the question you have must be prepared for. Why are you not completing your first degree in Nigeria. You can only escape this by not stating that you have started university education at all...Just start afresh or better still complete your first degree in Nigeria and go for masters abroad...my piece

Theblink123:
Hello guys, i have asked this question before but nobody answered me, probably because i wassnt on pont.
After my secondary school i wanted to study abroad but due to my age, my Dad felt i was too young to adapt to a foreign system, i was advised to wait till i was 18 so in the mean time i got admitted to a uni in Nigeria to keep myself Academically fit till am 18.
So now i have been in uni since september last year and now i am 18.
My question is, will indicating that i am already undergoing a bachelors degree in Nigeria be a red flag or will the explanation i gave above be enough to convince the vo.

BabajhideySammy:
If one goes for the edubond option, how much is required to be left in the sponsor’s account?

I think your sponsors account is just an added advantage since you are going for the edubond, but your sponsor should be able to show that he can cater for your living expense for subsequent years of your programme, so I think having any amount more than 7000 euro isnt bad....
