Please which is Akanu Ibiam varsity? I know of Akanu Ibiam Fed. Poly., Afikpo. I just feel for the students who are affected. I just hope they'll use this compulsory holiday period well. |
Godson201333: Although he explained that the union had met with government over the matter many times, government has refused to respect the agreement. Rather, he said, ASUU was told that the government forgot to include the earned allowance in the budget.Very silly excuse by the FG. So unfortunate that we have a bunch of very insensitive leaders that send their children abroad while the universities in their homeland suffer. Too bad. ![]() How on earth did they forget to include the allowance in the budget? I'm beginning to think that they're lying. Something needs to happen for things to change. |
So what do we do now? Problems will be the result when things are not done the right way. |
Let them call off the Confed. Cup so that Nigeria will have another opportunity. ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think those crop of Keshi's players can win Spain. We need better strikers than those guys. |
frosbel: 'And they revere me in vain while they teach the doctrines of the commandments of man.' “ - Matthew 15:9May God have mercy on you. Please come back to the fold and stop peddling your false doctrine. It's so irritating and can make one to want to throw up. Ahhhh! I just pray you don't become an apostate. If God arrested Paul, he can still touch you. Just wondering how many people have been following your false doctrine. God have mercy! |
Glad to know that there are still people who preach the undiluted truth and want to make heaven. Anyone who wants to get to heaven should avoid the teachings of frosbel and his friends. Like he said earlier, he's a freelance teacher who subverts the truth. Spicy, you got PMs and that's going to be confusing because your flesh is telling you one thing while the Spirit of God is surely telling you another. We may be able to tell you but we cannot convince you. Only the Holy Spirit can so the best thing is for you to follow His leading and not that of the flesh. How do you do this? Shut out what we all are saying, don't take our word for it. Spend some time to pray concerning this issue. You're not convinced yet and that's why you're having an inner battle. The flesh and the human spirit are battling for the control of your mind. So put everything we all have said out of your mind. Let your mind and flesh be quiet before the Lord and consecrate all. Tell Him that you're having an issue about dressing and make-up. Tell Him everything about it. Don't hide anything from Him. He knows but He wants you to speak to Him. If you're truly His child, He will surely speak to you. He may chose whatever way to speak to your spirit man (inward witness, audible voice, dreams and visions, etc) but just be quiet before Him and shut out all the noise. Come back after some time tell us what He said to you. 'The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly' Pr 20:27 (KJV) 'The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God' Ro 8:16 (KJV) PS: God can never speak against His Holy Word. |

Please what's the source of this news? How much did Galatasaray pay Chelsea before they agreed the deal? Yes they are interested but no deal has been agreed yet. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jun/14/mikel-john-obi-interest-galatasaray |
These guys are really competing in the android market. I read that the price is going to be between 35-40k in naira. |
That thing that is making that girl to want to lie to her parents because of a man is not love. If she eventually marries this man after both of them have lied to her parents, she'd be leaving him with no option than to cheat on her and it's the same group of people that will run to NL when the problem starts or when the husband starts misbehaving. Does she want to have a lying, deceptive husband? Let her go ahead. Do she want to have children that would be incurable liars? Let her go ahead. BTW, both of them are not even compatible in their beliefs and religion (unless she wants to convert to Islam; don't expect him to convert to christianity no matter how much he claims to love her) even though bot of them may claim to love each other. True love is pure, undefiled and always stands the test of time. It abides forever and can only be seen in godly hearts. Question: Is the girl born-again? OP, I just hope it's not you we're talking about here. If you're the one please think twice and look before you leap. |
The Tahiti vs Nigeria match comes first on the 17th. I expected to see the thread for that one first since this one comes up later. |

He's not dead. It's a hoax. |
The Bible is true and will remain true forever. Psalm 119:89 says "Forever O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven'. The Bible has pronounced curses on whoever misleads God's people by preaching false doctrine (Galatians 1:6-9) There are some pastors who God actually called but deviated along the line while some called themselves. Some of these pastors preach fallacies while others don't have full understanding of the Word. Every word of God is pure ...' (Proverbs 30:5). Purity and truth go together. What do we call christianity ? We are told in the book of Acts that the believers were first called christians in Antioch and that was because the people who gave them the name saw that they lived like Christ, so anyone who lives like Christ is a Christian. In other words, Christianity involves adhering to the instructions, teachings and warnings of Jesus Christ. Christianity is just about Jesus and anything that would glorify His name. The Bible is very plain on contemporary issues and Paul the Apostle tells us by the Inspiration of the Holy Ghost in Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.' The Spirit is the One who convicts and converts and directs our paths as christians. It is so unfortunate to note that many people who claim to be born-again still don't even have the Spirit of God. Now to the issue of Jehovah's witness. By the grace of God, I always withstand them whenever they have the opportunity of discussing the Scriptures with me. In fact, they've stopped coming. They like to twist the Bible to suit themselves. The issue of the 144,000 is an eschatological (end time) event. It doesn't mean that those that will be in heaven have been counted already. Please read it (Revelation 7) very well and understand that those are the Isrealites (12,000 from each tribe) that would be sealed on their foreheads for protection against the Great Tribulation events. If the people to get to heaven are already complete, why did Paul tell us about the rapture (which hasn't even taken place yet) in I Thessalonians 4:16-20? Why are we told to 'follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14)? The most important thing is to get born-again (John 3:3) and study the word of God prayerfully so that you won't be easily deceived. Also, when seeking for interpretation on Bible mysteries, always allow the bible to speak for itself. It isn't advisable to just pick one verse and build a doctrine or teaching on it. For every verse in the Bible, there would be another verse saying a similar thing if not the same thing. That's how to read and understand the bible with the help of the Holy Spirit. PS: The Holy Spirit will always agree with the Scriptures. |
That was a chance for Nigeria! Looks like this Namibian keeper is up for the game today. 2 saves . |
The SE are looking good on the wings especially with those low passes. Maybe they should try more. |
what! that was a clear cut pass that should have resulted in a goal but was cleared by the Nam defender. Corner kick to nig |
free-kick to Nig at the close to the edge of the 18yd box |
Freiburger: but dat stadium empty no be small thing.Weather looks cold |
Nigeria playing from left to right of the screen and Namibia vice versa |
The SE are already showing that they aren't in Namibia for show. They're there to win. Who took that shot from the left wing. That should've been a goal to Nigeria if not for the Namibian keeper. |
If Mandela were a Nigerian, I don't think he would've been alive by now because the evil men with selfish interests would have killed him long ago, especially if they noticed that he was fighting for the interest of the masses and not for self. |
