thanks all for your advice thus far,

i'm looking at using the taxi to ply the route between within the niger delta states [delta,rivers,edo and a/ibom]. my target would be based on degree of patronage and how good roads in that area are to reduce wear and tear on the vehicle.

femmy2010 i'm grateful for your suggestions, i'm looking at spending not more than 350-500k on each taxi so i'm not particulary interested in getting a late 90s model because it may be more expensive. what is most important to me is the number of passengers/luggage the car can accomodate and a car with readily available parts. based on this can you kindly make some suggestions? of course fuel consumption is of utmost importance. factory fitted a/c is not a priority even though if it comes with the car, it would be an added advantage provided the engine and body of the car are sound.

someone has suggested i should go for the 91 vw passat station wagon. what do y'all think?

pls i'm thinking of going into inter-city transport and i'm thinking of getting 1 or2 vehicles as inter-state taxis.

pls i would like your advice on the type of vehicle to go for and for dealers what kind of car i should be looking at in terms of durability, availability of spare parts, space and of course fuel consumpion.

nice cars but not the executive model[EX]. basic model being displayed from the pix -no steering controls, fabric seats etc. they look quite clean though on the positive side.

Overall, you may want to review your price downward to ensure quick sales.
