It has ended in praise. PPR received today. I actually joined this platform on behalf of my daughter. We worked through her application process together. Though I found this platform about a weeks after applying, but learnt a lot from the wonderful people here. You guys are amazing. Timeline: 1st May : submitted application (normal route) 13th May: NSE request - was ignored. 19th May: Did Biometrics 22nd June: 'Action Required' indicated on her portal. A word document explaining why she couldn't submit the NSE documents was uploaded. 26th June: Upfront medical 12 July: Medical uploaded passed. 23 August: BVL 1st September: PPR. Documents Submitted: Application forms Bsc certificate Nigerian Police Clearance cert FBI clearance ( lived in US 2013 to 2020) Travel history Bank statements - just enough money to cover tuition and cost of living. Introduction letters from our employers (am her cosponsor). No landed property No photo. I thank you all for all the questions answered and the courage drawn from the information available on this portal helped us to survive the wait (was killing). I wish all the PPR recipients success in the land of Canada. For the PPR expectants, you will all receive in no time. For the delayed, it is not the end of the road. Please order your notes, address the queries and refire. It shall end in praise. 62 Likes 1 Share |

Lani84: My daughter is in a similar situation. Same university. She did not apply for deferral yet, but just sent a mail to the Director of studies informing about the delay in study visa approval ànd that she may consider deferral should the delay continue. He informed her about the virtual option and suggested she can go with it unless she prefers in person then deferral can be considered. She has opted for the virtual and induction commenced today. We are believing she will get PPR soon. I suggest your sister joins the virtual option will waiting for PPR. The new immigration policy recognises online studies up to this fall for PGWP provided you obtained study visa or have applied before commencing virtual studies. She will loose a good percentage of money paid should she withdraw. She can as well look for admission for winter and notify IRCC. It will surely end in praise. 3 Likes |

Unbin: Hope you used your Canadian visitor's visa. I observed that no May normal route applicant has received PPR. The very few that received approvals had complete NSE requirements or short of one. I am a May 1st applicant (normal route), and eligibility has not started. Classes will start 25th August. Trusting God to receive PPR soonest. A USA visitors visa Doe's not qualify you to apply and obtain visa to another country from the USA. Its beginning to look like applying through the normal route is now an offence. It will end in praise. 2 Likes 1 Share |

The student should be supported to do the application by herself. The SOP should be written by the student under the supervision of an experienced person or a professional. All the best. quote author=ehiremen2002 post=104089913] Use of a Family Member Representative for Online Applications (IMM5713) (required) Is required if you have someone added as accompanying a main applicant. Hello NL family, Is it advisable to apply direct to university in Canada for an undergraduate program or go through a senior high school for grade 12, which I find pretty expensive. Could you please advise colleges that admit Nigerian students with wasc or neco. |
