I've always made the point that those asking for "republic of Igboland" instead of Biafra are making a big mistake because it will never happen. Reason? There was NEVER in the history of Africa a region politically organized as Igbo territory alone.
This is also why those thinking that Nigeria can divide into more than 3 countries are greatly mistaken!

What this means is that in every respect, Biafra is qualified to be a country!

The problem now is boundary. (Non-autonomous territory).
From Mr. Moon's statement, the implementation is that there should be a recognised fault line.

Now historically, Biafra region has two known fault lines:
The pre-1906 amalgamation fault line and the Eastern region fault line. These two fault lines were administered as a unit at different times.

What this means is that if Biafra becomes a country, it will at least comprise the Eastern region entirely or SS/SE that make up the pre-1906 amalgamation colony.

The Ijaws are never a treacherous group like someone said on this thread. I believe people should be very careful when it comes to denigrating the origins and tribes of others. I've been on this site for many and I can't recall ever describing an entire tribe with unprintable and derogatory words, without excessive pressure and same from others.

The Ijaws are solidly behind Wike and his administration; it's the ONLY sensible thing they can do, considering the massive support Wike gave to their person in the last elections. My vote will surely go to Wike, even if the while world reasons otherwise.

We are a people with dignity, not without flaws BUT I felt really disappointed to have read some demeaning words being used on my tribe by people I'll regard as my friends here.

It's being a honour being here BUT it seems a lot of reflection has to go on within.
