The true ownership of Port Harcourt, by Port Harcourt i mean the PH township from station down to Borikiri will be determined one day, it would have come sooner had the 'Oil River State' agitation not been shelved.

We are at a point in our soceity where people have become more enlightened and civilised and cannot be fighting unnecessarily over issues that the true facts are easily accessible..The Okrikans claim to have a wtitten agreement with the British..The documents surely in Okrika possesion will be verified by British as Britain isnt in heaven but on earth.

Already, we have contacted the National Archives of Great Britain and they've conformed that copies of the original Port Harcourt Historical documents are with them, so no problems at all.

Regardless, i believe Ikwerres should be the ones pushing for any territorial claims or name change in Port Harcourt and not Igbos.

You claim you are fighting for your sovereignty; so why force your identity on people that wouldn't want to be associated with you? Ikweres have said time and again that they are not igbos, we should respect that and move on. That they speak a version of igbo language doesn't make them igbo. Anyone can pick up any language, learn it and stick with it.

this is what i have been telling them but they dont seem to get it. nwanlecha paziena obiagu1 and ezeagu do not support a biafra with ikwerre because some ikwerres say they are not igbo.

advocating for an all igbo biafra does not mean ikwerres are more important than us. the fight to include them in biafra should not be understood as a plea for them to join us rather it should be seen as a struggle between we igbos and northerners over what is our own.

Northerners understand the Igboman's nature when they balkanized the Igboland. they know the Igboman is proud and that once you set them against themselves the two parties will be too proud to make re conciliatory moves, which is at the very heart of diplomacy. they used it to divide us and are still using it and sadly, our people are falling for it. we are too proud to make concessions and compromise for igbo unity; we do not seem to rise above intra-ethnic wranglings; we lack diplomacy that is why they sometimes accuse us of not knowing how to play politics. imagine ijaws are now using it on us to tell us who is igbo and who is not. what a shame!

I don't know why some Igbos are angry and calling me names. I never abused them nor malign them. Only made some clarifications as they are. At no time did I tell anyone the contrary of what I just wrote. It's unfortunate though but we must stand together and define our destiny without fear or favor.
