Orikinla: The present situation is what you get when STU-PID Nigerians chose to elect someone who could not even manage the affairs of a small state to become the President of the biggest nation in Africa. That is why his First Lady is an official embarrassment and he is just living in denial of his administrative incompetence. Whether Virgin Nigeria failed during the past Administration of the ruling party is not the issue here, but the fact is the kleptomaniacs of the same corrupt ruling party are still in power. And as long as President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan cannot probe and prosecute his corrupt sponsors in the ruling party and private sector, he is just their stooge. The fact that his former boss who is an escaped convict is one of his advisers, then he is a disgrace to Nigeria. And the fact that criminals are being rewarded as ex-Niger Delta militants, because the president is scared to arrest and prosecute them, he is a coward. If the president claims that we have a well equipped Navy, and yet the Navy cannot prevent foreign oil tankers from stealing our crude oil, then he is a liar. Giving N1 - N10 million to young men and women for startups as your answer to the problem of over 20 million jobless youths is just STU-PID when you have ignored the problems that crashed our local textile industry and other industries. The local manufacturers are still lamenting and instead of addressing their emergency, you are looking for an image laundering scheme that is based more on wishful thinking than economic realities. What is going on in Nigeria cannot happen where there is a real government. What we have in Nigeria is not a democratic government, but a political cult of kleptomaniacs qnd their accomplices and beneficiaries. As I have said before, Mr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan would have been better working in a zoo or for the Nigerian Conservation Foundation and not being traumatized as a politician and government administrator. And he is too ashamed to admit it. God help Nigeria.
U av issues, ur words smack of gross tribalism. The people of d niger delta and south eastern nigeria deserve all the largesse they should get from d govt, even if it is disguised as amnesty pay. For d unity of dis country they av had 2 sacrifice their livelihoods. 95percent of our revenue comes therefrom and u r antagonizin d FG for givin dem a miserly 1-10million...that is wat happens wen u become a perputual parasite...u begin fantasizing that things must b shared according 2 ur own terms.
Consider it an act of rare kindness that u still enjoy d spoil from d ND, and wyl none of ur kinsmen will ever rule dis country again (cos d country is goin down) pls mind ur bizness. If d govt doesn't give u d same treatment it gives d ND today, its because u don't deserve it.

Nigeria's problem is simple...it shouldn't have been created in d first place. D country was built on greed and desperation. Nigeria is gradually tending towards d situation in Sudan, where the leeches have been seperated from the buffalo.

nigeria will divide along religious and then ethnic lines taking us back to 1966. The west will gang up with the north to keep dis mirage together but eventually we shall seperate the chaff from the wheat. Let us not waste tym discuss a better tomorro or even a revolution. Let us all join our hands to dissolve dis fallacy called Nigeria.

The people to the east of d NIGER should struggle for a new nation built on a commonwealth and ethnic/religious affiliations.

The rest of Nigeria should fight for the right thing. Let them for a union based on their common interests and because its d right tin to do (not attacking GEJ-he is not d problem).

I rest my case.

logicboy01: You expose yourself as an arrogant doofus with your comment.

An atheist is an atheist because of a disbelief in God. Atheists do not have to be philosopical or scientists before being atheists.

No one knows exactly what happens after death. However. christians would want us to believe that the bible (written by bushmen in the middle east) has the answer.

Tpo your other questions; THEY ARE FLIPING IRRELEVANT. The thread is about Job
Look before you leap my dear NON-RELIGIOUS guy (not atheist). I asked why we die and NOT what happens after death.
My questions are not irrelevant to the topic, you just don't have anything sane to say.

And drop the insulting words...u r not good @ using them.

If u can't answer my questions do some research. There's always something new out there.

Almost 8hrs later and I'm yet to get any sound response from our wanna-be atheists on the challenge I raised. Permit me, therefore, to characterize you as baby-atheists and if you ever mature, philosophical atheists. For now you may continue to toy with ur crude (and embarrassingly unreasonable) social and historical arguments.

I have painstakingly read through all your arguments for your supposed convictions, and I pity you for your logic. Is this what it takes to be an atheist? And I thought it was something to be proud of, a class thing, a status thing, probably even a glorious thing.

At best you should consider yourselves NON-RELIGIOUS. However, and if you want to funkify your new title u may go further to say you are a skeptic, nontheist, freethinker, or
nonbeliever.

Pride remains the key factor though. And you will never be able to explain
Why humans die-even though the cells are able to continue recreating themselves in old age,
Why space seems to have no bounds,
What caused the BIG BANG (ever heard of that?),
Why the UNIVERSE is the ONLY known PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINE of the FIRST ORDER (google pls ...).

And if we can have just one sensible answer to any of these questions we may begin to take u guys seriously, otherwise get a life!!!
Christianity Etc › Re: The Story Of Job. An Example Of God's Wickedness by Obijulius: 7:32am On Jul 03, 2012
I have never met a true atheist(going by the definition of atheism). What we have are loafers puffed up with pride or some fellows who are so frustrated by the sufferings on earth that the easiest way out is to blame the Maker.

Most of u so-called atheists will run to science to fight ur case. And yet science deals with Cause and Effect. Science also realises that more often than not it is practically impossible to explain the Cause.

Science however, never doubts that there is a cause for every effect, with the limitation that science cannot explain the super Cause using empirical methods. Thus science can study and explain the creation and not the Creator.

The atheist is not a scientist, his belief system is not based on sound reasoning. Rather on pride and a loathsome desire to look different. And yet unconsciously he must live by the rules of the Creator, he must obey the laws of nature (the effect), and he will remain a benefactor of this One, whose existence and power he seeks to rubbish (foolishly).

Would the atheist believe in God if there was no story of Job? Answer 4 ur selves. For like the Devil, you will keep seeking excuses for ur foolishness.

If any of u can explain CREATION in atheist terms (reasonably and without junkering about), I myself would become an atheist, I want to stand out too. ℓ☺ℓ

FXKing2012:
Job said what he feared most has befallen him (that shows he was a fearful man).
God told Satan to do with Job as he wishes but not to kill him (Job).

Guy I've told u u dont have a deep understanding of the Bible, pls dont even try to argue wt me. Again, you take the Bible at face value cos u dont have the spiritual standing to read inbetween the lines and get the deeper meanings.
Do u know why Jesus always spoke in parables? Becos the Word is not meant for those outside the kingdom to understand. . .you dont give what is holy unto dogs cos they will trample upon it. So the Word will always remain a mystery to folks like u.
Nice to see someone tryin to defend his faith. I'm a Christain too but your arguments tend to rubbish the faith than defend it.
Job was not one to lack faith (fear is surely out of the question). The initial & concluding chapters help us to appreciate the circumstances surrounding his predicament.

The morale of that story was to show that even under the most trying conditions men can maintain their resolve to remain faithful to God. In tha case of the book of Job there is no need to read in between the lines:for it is one of those few books that give us a plain view of the issues and choices man faces and has to make respectively.

And pls stop talkin about understanding the deep things, for if u find it difficult to comprehend this story, then u truly lack any understanding. Get in touch with Jehovah's Witnesses and you'll could expand on your faith in God's word and knowledge of the Bible.

kiyosaki1: beaf clone why shifting from the relevant to the irrelevant all the above shows how trivial you and your trainers are have you ever heard of diction or typing assist as in many cases especially when using mobile device well I wouldn't blame you or beaf aka Reno Omokri for your ignorance because it further confirm to me how a reasonable grown up people will not be able to critically analyse every moves made by the government whether its suitable for the masses or not before rushing to the pages of different social media to support such well for your information not all people that are on this forum are gullible and will swallow just anything that is being offer to us the point is this this forum is where the those without voice can make their voice heard I.e shows. their approval to every policy being made by our policymakers because in democratic regime the elected leaders are our servants and the last time I checked the present regime was voted in to the office and not by military coup what that means in a nut shell is that they are accountable to us and using the tax payers or our resources money to fuel an underground propaganda organization like yours is not only against the fundamental principles in which democracy is built but its illegal in all ramifications people like you and your sponsors in an ideal situation are suppose to be languishing in jail so as to serve as a deterrent to others that might want to tow the path you are towing now let me even ask you why do you prefer easy money by saying this I mean all you do for your pay is just sitting in front of many laptops with different identities and drummer support for. every move of the government knowing sure that these policies makers are themselves human that are prone to error I personally do not criticize personality but the policy and I have been on this forum for sometime now and you and your likes have always been doing is to blindly support all policy without analysing them whether they are applicable to our situation in this country or not or what is the motive behind such moves a typical and present example is the sudden removal of the oil subsidy without putting into confidence the populace that voted in the present leadership in which I am part and parcel.
U have issues. You think GEJ is d reason 4 ur problems. If tribalism has not blurred ur sense of reasoning u might b able to see tins in a different light. For all the pain it may cause you pls learn to take responsibility for your failures and stop blaming GEJ / "typing assist". And this govt has come to stay...till the real Nigerians think its time to call this country quits.
What have you contributed to your community to better their well being? Nothing of course, you will surely be glad to have one of your kin as d presidenthuh That's just your problem and I can assure u dat it gonna stay dat way 4 a really long tym.

Threads lyk this will make the front page, esp when they attack the character of Mr. President and undermine his capabilities (and emphasize his shortcomings) as a Leader. These critics, given the same opportunity, would do no better(refer Hitler, Nazi Germany).

The OP had just one intention (and the mods share same too), to spite Nigerians against Mr. President. Now that u have acheived ur goal in life what next? is this the high you so earnestly crave? Is this your contribution towards a better society?

What effort have you made (personally) to verify the President's claims? Given your antecedents do you think you can make a good leader?

Why not try this; get books by Henry Kissinger, Robert Kennedy, Bill Clinton and Winston Churchill. And make sure you read them all. Perhaps you could begin to prepare yourself to be more useful to society...and be sure to follow up on verifying the President's claims. I look forward to hearing from you.
