Responding from my side as a lady, I don't think she still has feelings for her ex. She is only hurt that after their times together he ended up with someone else. She is only hurt because after the guy had a feel of her younger strength, he ditched her to marry another. If you buy the car, you will need Proof of Ownership n all other documents in order to do change of Ownership n register the car in your name with a new plate number.
Now the seller is not the original owner, in whose name was the registration made? That of the seller or original owner?
Your answer will give me a clue on what you are to do next but for now do not buy the car yet if you haven't so u don't end up buying stolen car.

It all plays down this way, I saw a car on Nairalander here won't mention the model etc and I loved it. I showed my mum and she wanted it immediately. After a while, I spoke with the seller and I went for inspection. We agreed on a good price and after payment I realised the car was previously registered to one owner like that. I knew the deal was too good to be true getting such a nice sleek ride at that price. Though the car z top notch ntin to fix and can pass for tokunbo though the dealer claimed the previous owner never never used it. He just paid half and left it with the promise to finish the payment and pick it up. Later on the guy had financial issues and decided selling it bla bla bla. (After payment). The issue is my mum Categorically have trust issues when it comes to Nigerian used due to past experience, And no matter how much I explain the car z registered already she might and will still have mixed feelings.

The issue is will the cat not be let out of the bag during registration. How can I go abt this etc.

If the car was originally registered that means all the details including the names, address, phone number belongs to the previous owner. Driving it without having the documents in ur name or proof of buying it from the previous owner will result to u driving a stolen car.
You must do change of ownership. By so doing, u secure a new plate number and all info will be changed to yours. To do COO u must present a proof of purchase or transfer from the previous owner, his valid means of identification and all current documents of the vehicle.
That means the seller has to help you reach the person in whose name the car was originally registered with.

Yes but you must have a tinted permit to drive the car in Nigeria.

When you bought the car, the owner ought to have given you all the papers which are vehicle licence, proof of ownership, insurance, road worthiness,CMR. these documents ought to have the right engine, chassis n plate number.if they don't, then there's a mistake at the point of registration or it was not registered properly.
Since u have bought the car, the best option for you will be to do change of ownership, secure a new plate number and register the vehicle in your name with the right engine n chassis nunber. Renewing it with d wrong info will take u thru a long process u will not like.

My take on this is, NYSC camp is a military camp sort of. No soldier goes to camp dressed in skirts or hijab gown. How will u climb, scale fences, run, defend yourself etc with that kind of clothing getting in the way. It's only for 3wks.
I support decent dressing but not stupidity. Wearing NYSC trouser is not wrong, the trouser is free and not seductive though they can allow wearing of white trousers in place of the short.
If your religion does not support the dressing then apply for exemption. Forfeit the 1yr allowee, that's the price you pay for your God or Allah.

Yes it is compulsory. I studied Computer Engineering and Further Mathematics was a prerequisite. While doing the course, you will study an advance level of further mathematics which is Engineering maths my school called it FEG. Though the school you applied to may not make it compulsory.
