Never judge a movie by its trailer or reviews from some wack critics.
Watch the movie and you decide if its good or bad.

MRbrownJAY:
the last time i watched a Nollywood movie, there was a hospital scene and it was just a bed in a room. even the doctor looked like a fool,if he didnt have a stethoscope around his neck, i would have though that he was the cleaning man.

@ Avatar fans: Welcome to the world of TDK fans; at least you guys got nominations,

THL was a worthy winner though I wouldn't have minded if Up had won.

@spikyn
"Avatar" won 3 awards for Best Visual Effects, Best Art Direction & Best Cinematography.

I was wondering, if movie goers and fans had also been involved in the voting process, do you think "The Hurt Locker" would have still won 6 awards last night?

@iice
Happy Birthday iice iice baby.
I wonder why people didn't like Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. It not as bad as "Valentine's Day"

@OgagaLuv

How can Avatar be a waste of cash when it raked in more than 8 times the amount spent in making the movie? WHo's cash has been wasted? Yours of James'?

Film wey don make money taya.
@spikedcylinder
The number of "Avatar" topics in the TV/Movie section is getting too much. Maybe some people actually like the film and are pretending.

OSCAR FACT: A science fiction movie has never won the "Best Picture" category since the oscars started in 1927.

@justkunmi
Christoph Waltz has won best supporting actor at the golden globes and BAFTAs. So for him winning at the Oscars didn't come as a big surprise to me.

It was a tough competition between "The Hurt Locker" and "Avatar" for the top prize. At the end, "The Hurt Locker" got it.

"The Hurt Locker" was the highest winner of the night with 6 awards followed by "Avatar" with 3 awards.

"District 9" not winning anything was predictable but kudos for it being nominated.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was great in her dress.

Cameron Diaz no fine again o!

"The Hurt Locker" wins Best Picture.

Its a good win even though I was rooting for "Inglourious Basterds".

doyin13:
Its a lie. . .she is not 58.

she is using football age.

@doyin13
See ya teeth

"Avatar" was ground-breaking technologically. But is it good enough to win Best Picture?
Lets be watching.

4. 2012
5. Knowing

How "2012" and "Knowing" take dey disturbing?

Oscar Fact: Meryl Streep hasn't won an Oscar in 26 years. The last time she won was in the 1983 ceremonies for Best Actress in the movie "Sophie's Choice" (1982). Meryl Streep has received 16 Academy Award nominations since 1978 and she has won it twice.

I must drink a lot of coffee on Sunday. I hope DSTV shows it live _{(and I'm sure it will be very late in the night here in Nigeria)} and I pray NEPA or PHCN does not mess things up for me.
