Their characteristics to me has a mixture of both African and Native American cultures. |
@macnuel The original DVD of "Precious" will be out on March 9 2010. "The Hurt Locker" original DVD is already available. I think "Invictus" is being shown on either Silverbird cinemas or Genesis Deluxe cinemas. |
@bobby123 Countless hours of rendering a 3-D movie like "Avatar" can be disturbing. I get ur point. @topic A Clockwork Orange (1971). That movie was just weird and insane. |
I wonder if the celebrities will undergo the same harsh treatments contestants of previous editions underwent |
spikedcylinder:@spikedcylinder He or She? My sweetie is a she. Abeg o!And thanks for the tip. ![]() |

@justkunmi & vescucci What if "An Education" wins the Best Picture category? |
Out of the 10 best picture nominees, I have seen: - Avatar - Inglourious Basterds - The Hurt Locker - District 9 - Precious - The Blind Side - Up In The Air - Up 8 out of 10. Either "Inglourious Basterds", "Avatar" or "The Hurt Locker" deserves the Best Picture Award. I heard District 9 star Sharlto Copley will be playing Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock in "The A-Team (2010)" movie. |
@JeSoul And if District 9 doesn't win what will you do? You'll give the Oscar organizers Kanye West style. JeSoul: I'm sorry for interrupting you, I'll let you finish. But District 9 is the best movie of all-time. Of All-Time. |

Out of the 10 movies nominated for this year's oscars, "Inglourious Basterds" stands out as the best in my opinion. But I have this feeling its not going to win it even though its one of the strong contenders. |
@JeSoul Yes. I have seen "The Hurt Locker". Its just an OK movie. Its not as fantastic as "Black Hawk Down" but just OK. The only reason I liked the movie was because of Jeremy Renner's character Sgt. William James. I gave the movie a rating of 82%. Sometimes I wonder why critics like the film so much. |
JeSoul:I think he's talking about the 1992 version directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins, and Keanu Reeves. |
I hope this edition introduces Live Streaming for internet users. |
James Cameron & Kathryn Bigelow have been divorced since 1991. But they are still good friends. Since her divorce she has done films like "Strange Days (1995)" and "K-19 The Widow Maker (2002)". "The Hurt Locker" wasn't just praised by critics beacuse its directed by Cameron's ex-wife, but because they know its a good movie. |
justkunmi:GENIUS ![]() |
TPIAH!!! ![]() So many Avatar topics in the TV/Movies section. We keep making this film popular.Well, the Blue people are the alien inhabitants of the planet Pandora. They are called the Na'vi. The atmosphere of Pandora is not conducive for humans so thats why they put on oxygen masks. So, the humans also want to be more friendly with the Na'vi people because of the rich mineral resources they possess, so they decided to build these genetically identical bodies called Avatars. The Avatar body is remotely mind controlled by the human. |
I'm looking forward to seeing "Shutter Island" and "Alice In Wonderland (2010)". "The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn" is motion capture 3-D film directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson & Kathleen Kennedy. It is currently in post production and has a release date of December 2011. |

"Avatar" vs. "The Hurt Locker" "James Cameron" vs. "Kathryn Bigelow" Kini Big Deal? ![]() |
"The Hurt Locker" is a good film even though it did make alot of money in the box office. I think it even had a limited release when it first came out in the cinemas. Everybody knew Kathryn Bigelow was once married to James Cameron. Rotten Tomatoes rated "The Hurt Locker" 97% |
Google acquired YouTube for $1.65 Billion in 2006. So YouTube is a part of Google. |
puskin:Na so now. A deal is a deal. Congrats for being the first to post it. ![]() @topic I got 3MB/s with Swift Hotspot today. |
The Oscars is almost here. I hope either "Inglourious Basterds", "Avatar" or "The Hurt Locker" wins the Best Picture category. In other news, "Avatar" wins six awards in the 8th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards. For full list of winners, go to: http://www.visualeffectssociety.com/file/ves-announces-2010-winners-ves-awards ![]() "Shutter Island" maintains the No. 1 spot at the U.S. Box Office for the 2nd week ("Cop Out" and "The Crazies" are not even strong contenders in my opinion). "Shutter Island has made $75 million in the U.S. Box Office so far. |

@ELRazur Do you have a separate room where vocal recordings are done? |
@Hustler! You have to work harder on the beat. The instruments were fighting for space and recognition. Make each of them blend with one another. I hope you post anoda one. But let be good this time. Cheers. @Krayola Guy, how far? E don tey wey I post for Music section. |
