kemijohnson: Let me help you out here. Mine was defaced also - worst than yours and still had 3 years in it.
If you go to Immigrations, they'll tell you to go to Abuja (that it's only done there etc) This option will be cheaper for you by the way because of official price for passport defamation.
I didnt have that kind of time so I advised them to treat it as lost/ stolen case. Got an affidavit and police report. They did all that honestly, I only paid them 50k plus additional for the reports. I think it is 10k less in Lagos but the truth is official price for stolen / lost case is 20k (based on the website) Assuming Abuja will be straight.
But if you consider that most immigration offices have been shouting "no booklets" and some people have spent 5 months after capture without seeing their passport, I am happy I did as I was advised and received the new one in a week. But it all depends on your urgency for it.
My advise, walk in there and complain of lost stolen passport; If you decide to use this means, please ensure you "lose" the passport as lying in an affidavit is perjury. you have been the most helpful. Thank you very much. I would surely have to get a new one soon |

Travel › Re: Authenticity Of Documents At Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Abuja by Obinnau(m): 7:57am On Feb 23, 2020 |
Ope4Christ: It depends on what purpose and country you are doing authentication for. But you need the following documents to be authenticated:
1. SSCE original, it is compulsory(plus N1200 WAEC card for verification). 2. BSc, MSc, PhD, ND, HND certificate.(any one that is applicable to you). 3. Eligibility letter, you will apply for it (N1000).
But if for the purpose of study, you will add:
4. Original transcript of records. 5. Three sets of photocopies of each document are required. If you are going to study abroad you will do additional sets of photocopies for admission because two from the three sets stated above are are going to be retained in the two ministries (MOE and MFA).
It is one step after the other. You will start with MOE (it takes 2 to 3 days depending on population) while MOF takes one day but you must be there by 9am. They close by 1pm and will not allow you in again. They don't do authentication on Fridays o.
Authentication cost N300 per page multiplied by the total number of pages you want to do. Plus some extra charges for application form (N450), remitars - for individual payments at the two ministries etc.
You can add Voters Card or Drivers Licence to your NIMC print out for identification. But if you don't have any of them you better wait for your passport to be out because they will send you back to your destination.
Best wishes. thanks for this nice answer. Can neco result stand in place of waec? Will statement of result be accepted for my BSc certificate? |

I have dad of two clear cases like this, one was from a friend ad and the other was was from my dad about his younger brother a long time ago. Some people would be quick to dismiss stories like this as fraud but I believe they are true. I am not a very religious person but I usually wondered where the nephilim and the Devil's that were cast down with Satan entered. They must have been still living on earth. The world is truly mysterious |

decode: You will legalise/authenticate your papers at MOE and MFA in Abuja first of all. Then go to Lagos consulate or Abuja embassy for the Italian legalization. The diplomatic office that will attend to you depends on your state of origin. If you are from the north, Abuja. South Lagos I am going for masters, I saw where they were requesting for o level, is it necessary to include it in the package for the embassy given that the schools never requested it? Good morning |

amikable97: Alright... I appreciate your input.. I'm not in Lagos now, I'm still serving. For the statement of result to you know if MOE & MFA accept legalization of statement of result?
When batch B1 is slated to pass out is May (and my school can't issue without NYSC discharge certificate) and by that time it would have been too late to meet up with all that is to be done. I was thinking statement of result would be OK. Or am I wrong? |

Divepen1: 1. What happens when everywhere becomes like the city, tall buildings, loud cars and trucks?
2. Going with LoYL might be disastrous because you guys will do almost nothing than to love, have sex...You can't talk for 12 hours or make love for those hours. What will replace boredom? Even if you're a writer, it will eventually lead to madness except you're on a religious expenditure. That even means you're connecting to the spiritual world, shown things.
There's a Ted talk from a man that stopped using all media for a year or so. He said he didn't gain much from it. What he only gained was ability to interact with people to learn of what was happening in recent times.
My advice: 1. You can do the digital cleansing for a week or few days more but a month is detrimental to your mental and social health.
2. To have such long vacation: go with a group of likeminds, books, music, and games. You can go with movies too.
See Bbnaija. If they weren't engaged and looking forward to a grand price, many of them would be out the next two days.
Man was created to a be a part of a community, environment, and not to be annihilated for long. 1. With the vast majority of jungles on Africa, urbanization of everywhere is still a damn way off. 2. I hope you understand that people have different temperaments. Some like living in seclusion some function more optimally when they are in a group of people, some philosophise while some... Remember I said one month and at the end I gave a caveat that I don't mean staying there forever because obviously man is a social animal and extended seclusion from his likes will cause some psychological imbalances. Knowing that I or we is staying there for a short period of time would surely serve as an anchor for me, that I would have to leave soon. |

This is uncharacteristic of me but I am going to rant today.
So I came across this picture and people were saying they can't. Let me tell you, THIS IS EXACTLY WANT I WANT RIGHT NOW I need a chance to disconnect from this digital age nonsense, I need peace of mind and sanity. Did you see that overcast weather? Lovely in my opinion! This is a chance to get close to mother nature, to feel how it feels like to be human again, instead of being enclosed in cages we call cities, worrying endlessly about tomorrow that may never come. We all really need this to reduce our passive madness and worries. Imagine being here for one month with the loml (rolling my eyes) we will make cute babies , we will have time to discuss all that cities have denied is the time to think of. A final question to ponder for those that may disagree with my opinion, why do you think rich people leave cities and go to their village to spend some time? Food for thought... And oh I didn't mean staying in the place forever o

Whats the best way to have handled this situation. Rider made an order to destination 'farawa' we reached the exit route from the express and she said its still ahead. I continued speeding for about 10 more minutes with no end in sight and she continued saying her destination is at the front, while we have passed her initial destination by miles. She then said she doesn't know the place. I canceled the ride and requested for price review. She asked for the correct destination and we were referred back to the earlier place she ordered for. I asked her to reorder so we can go back to the place. She refused and said that she is getting down there to find her way on her own. How best to handle such situations? |

It's so sad, I remember when pen pals was thing The mindset of most people these days is a bit warped too. You see a lady outside, you compliment her and strike up a convo and the next very thing running through her mind 8s how to Make you a Maga, of course few ladies are an exception. And besides I consider that face to face meeting a bit cumbersome. The good ladies are out there, I know it. But they have been muzzled by cyberspace inconveniences. |

There used to be a time when of I feel off, I can log into some sites and apps and have a honest conversation with any lady. Unfortunately this days I can't seem to find one. Tinder, inmessage, badoo have been taken over by pr'osti'tutes. WhatsApp can only be used for convos between people you mostly already know. Where can one see the averagely good girls around one's location and have a nice convo? |
